Re the cost of a scroll. I read a book about St Paul, it said that when St Paul wrote his letters to the Churches, it would cost £2K to £3K, for Paul to employ a scribe to write the letter and a copy for filing, and to buy the paper & ink.

I've bee going through your chanel and have a few questions il doubt you will have the time to answer but hope you do.
1. I want to become a follower without going to church as believe there corrupt. Can I do this with a specific prayer?
2. Do you go live on any days so I can follow your teachings?
3. Is there any videos online where you have done anything in public I can watch?
4. If my family are blind to christ because there to corrupted in modern society, if I pray for them will God save there souls?
You'll never understand the adversity I go through with the Muslims where I live to believe in christ, but your videos have saved me when I didn't think there was any answer to the questions they were asking me. You brought me back into the light, thank you❤

Wow I didn't even find this as a contradiction due to the Orthodox 40 days practice 🤣 When someone dies, orthodox christians believe it takes up to 40 days for a soul to depart from the world. So when reading Luke i did not even asume it all happened in one day. However, i did not connect it with Acts so thank you Sam for pointing it out. Its amazing ❤️

Come on brother. Stop misreading the text. He didn't pour out, but breathed out the Spirit in John 20:22. Jesus poured out the Spirit in Acts 2:1-4, 30-33, in order to fill them with the Spirit's power to begin their ministries to the risen Lord. And do you really think that Jesus can't breathe the Spirit upon Thomas unless Thomas is there? Or that Jesus didn't eventually the breathe the Spirit on him? Think more deeply.

It was a big controversy in Indian Christianity where one of the Patriarch of Antioch claimed that Saint Peter has only the authority and Jesus gave him the Key to the heaven, A kind of Catholic belief.. but we orthodox Christian’s in India rejected it and we withdraw the relation with the church of Antioch.. we now only have very limited relation.

Sam, I'm confused: if it's not the same day, so Jesus came to them twice, right? 1st - without Thomas and then Thomas came, 2nd - to 11 disciples already. But it seems that in both events He came for the first time... Because if they already saw Him - then why did they think that it's a ghost when there were 11 of them?.. Can you explain this please?)
