Just picked up the latest gen special edition Seiko sumo and it’s also a Padi with the blue dial and the new upgrades are cool. Milled clasp. All brushed bracelet but I am going to order a strapcode he had sumo bracelet to give it more balance and a lot more wrist presence. They raised the prices on the latest gen sumo to$1200 dollars but the Seiko AD I buy from gave me a deal 35 percent off retail. I would like to pick that bad ass ice diver up as well but my same AD gave me the same 35 percent off the seiko SLA075 that retails for $2800 and I couldn’t pass that deal up. It’s fine. Excited to see you do a MarineMaster 300 one of these days! I like my Sumo. Its been less than a year. I got it second hand and the original owner hand chose one with good alignment from the A.D.. It runs a bit fast but that's okay I rarely wear a watch longer than a week. Strapcode Angus Jubilee is PERFECT on this watch.

Thanks for the video. I have 6 Seiko watches. All line up. Took a few tries to find the ones I wanted. Got lucky on 2 watches that line up acceptably. I viewed 3 Save the Ocean turtles until I finally got one that lines up... That's bad. I vowed never again to buy sight unseen. But broke that vow with my Pepsi PADI turtle. Was very nervous until I saw it. It's not perfect, but so close as to not bother me. We should not have to worry about this stuff. Seiko is not having to figure out the calculations to intercept a meteor and divert it away from hitting the earth. It's just putting a dial and chapter ring in a watch. If a cheap Chinese watch factory can get this right, Seiko, needs to fix this. Every one that is misaligned really needs to go back. It's unacceptable. Don't get me started on cheap pressed clasps. Would cost Seiko less than a dollar extra to use milled clasps.
