You've done a good thing here. The ever-dwindling count of Robotrons, against all odds, has actually increased by four. The world is a little brighter today, thanks to you.
If you take a cheap Walmart document frame or poster frame you can cut down the plastic trim piece that you are missing for the marquee. Used that for my Ms PAC.
i sprayed hundreds of gallons of martin senour in the 90s. mainly base/clear but it was good shit then and its still around so i'd bet its still good shit. robotron is still my game, busted 5 million my first game after not playing for 25 years. those cabarets look sweet.
You can use the Black Plastic Strips from the “Avery Sliding Bar Report Cover” to attach to the sides of your marquee. This will take up the empty space on both sides and it will also prevent light from showing on the sides. I used these on my Galaga build.
The 19" monitor would stick out the back of the cabinet. It may also need to be widened an inch or so. But I could take measurements. You can use this as a guide: www.classicarcadecabinets.com/robotron-mini.html
Phoenix Arcade is where the CPO came from. Stencil from This Old Game/GameStencils.com. the other items were available from Phoenix but I had a friend print for me.
Hey! Thank you! I got them from ThisOldGame.com. They are the same stencils that gamestencils.com made and he took them over. If they don't show up on the site just send him a message.

Thank you :-)
Nice cabinets. I like your yard... looks really nice
Thank you!
Those Cabs look fantastic! You really put a lot of love into those... It shows. It's like creating a piece of art, then you have to sell it.
Thanks! They are lovely to look at. I guess that's what artists do though is make something and sell it! I still have my first one for myself though.
Great work Tim, I've been following the project since the start and they turned out fantastic.
Looks fantastic

Excellent idea! Thanks for that!

Ahhhh excellent tip! I should see if my mom has any old book reports 😂
I need one of these! They are amazing!
WOW!! Great job, I plan to make my own Robotron, so these videos are very helpful! Thank you Tim! :)
Excellent! Best of luck to you! Let me know if I can help.
@@ThatTimGuy Who sell this stencil?
Nice job Tim they look beautiful
Thank you!!!
I have a misfile command cabaret dedicated but I just love all cabarets they are so cute
Nice work !!
Thanks!
wow, incredible job. I do love me some robotron. I play it at least once a month
For those side pieces on the marquees I would modify a piece of F Channel trim from Home Depot or Lowes and paint it black.
Awesome! I knew someone would have an idea. Thanks!
Think that plastic on the marquees is called "U track".
i'm sure you can find some of it and cut it to size.
Excellent! Thanks for the tip!
You building anymore of these in the future to sell?
Great work Tim,
Did you ever release the cut files for this awesome project ? I'd like to make a make trax
I didn't, but there is a version here from where I started.

Ugh. I want one of these so bad.
i also have a light leak slight gap there lol
Tim: I’m in the market for one of these. Doing another batch anytime?
Appreciate the interest, but not at the moment. I need more time in a day!
@@ThatTimGuywould these fit a 19” monitor (if using a custom bezel)? If so do you know of anyone building these (minis)?

Where did you get the marquee, bezel, and cpo artwork from?

Matty Z is looking for a Robotron cabaret, is one of these his? Those look awesome man, great job! With a vertical mount...sly.
Perhaps.... :-D
@@ThatTimGuy Oh snap. Again amazing work man, look perfect.
Hey Tim do you have a website or a shop where you have items for sale ?? How can I contact you ???
Hey, I have a domain name I own, but nothing for sale at the moment. I'd love to do more projects like this, but honestly, I don't have the time!
Excellent job. Are you doing these solo or have employees now?
I'm still solo. Although one guy did help build his cabinet because he wanted to be a part of the process! That was fun.
Hi Tim! Great work... can I ask where you got the stencils from for the cabaret sized? Thanks!!
Hey! Thank you! I got them from ThisOldGame.com. They are the same stencils that gamestencils.com made and he took them over. If they don't show up on the site just send him a message.
Congratulations, Tim! They look beautiful! When are you starting the next batch?
HA....That's a bold statement! If I didn't have to wait a solid 10 months on vendors I would have done another batch this summer.
@@ThatTimGuy You are a true craftsman. I wish I had your skills.
