Those are so pretty! I love peonies, too. We had a bush in our backyard when I was a kid. They were white with a tinge of pink. The color of yours is really vibrant!
I miss having peonies in the garden. They don’t grow where I live now. Must be why I have so many peony stamps and dies. 😊

mine were SUPER late this year - we're usually later than most here in SK but mine were later than everyones. They generally bloom mid June but mine didn't till July - so I had them after everyone else lol

Oh Amy, you are such fun! I was describing your style to a friend, trying to tell why she should watch and subscribe….so much fun but you’re relatable. Your cards are gorgeous and you look and sound real, not phony. You’re hilarious and yet you might be a neighbor or something. Not a manufactured influencer, if you know what I mean. Okay, so…..STOP inspiring me! 🤣 I just used your link to get this set plus a number of other things….of course! Love the way this watercolor peony turned out. Peonies always remind me of where I grew up in Iowa. My uncles land had a border of peony bushes all around the large grass area…so beautiful! Now if I want a peony flower here in AZ, I hv to pay $10 for 5 stems at Trader Joe’s! You are so blessed to get them for free…..I’m jealous 😎
oh they aren't free - they aren't cheap as starter plants here and I've been cultivating mine for 3-4 years now to get them big enough and enough blooms to be able to cut a couple. In a couple more years I'll hopefully be able to cut more and start separating and expanding them :)

I can’t cut my peony’s as they’re always stuffed with ants! Aaarrrggghhh! Love your cards as per usual. 😊❤️🇨🇦. Wish I could show picture of card I’m making for my brother and sister in law 50th anniversary coming up on the 20th. Anyhow, I’m using Altenew’s Fresh Cut Roses stamps. I used an ink in sand color, then embossed it. Now I can watercolour it. Yellow roses and yellow violets represent 50th wedding anniversary. ❤

@@PrairiePaperandInk yeah I did that when I first moved here, now there's millions of them outside and loads getting in the house. Fighting with them since 2016.

Adding the Honey Yellow shadeto the Peonies was brilliant gave them life and dimension.
