Very unique tutorial. Just got mine yesterday and have been watching video after video but yours was like an express train. Cut through so much stuff to show the fastest way to getting to this units strengths. Thanks mate!
This thing is a tiny little box of huge fun. I've been enjoying it more than my Digitone. It's faster, more fun and immediate to play, and I can connect it to my iPad with a USB cord and start recording. Plus the ability to set different lengths on each track. That's a feature I miss on the Digitone.
very good tutorial... its interesting, the explanation is not to fast/slow and the music also sounds good. rarely all of these things come together on youtube .. well done
Thank you. Just unboxed mine this afternoon and wanted to see how far I could get using the what-happens-if-I-do-this approach. Wish I’d watched this excellent video first!
I have had my Cycles for a few weeks now, and this is the most important video, I have seen, for helping me get more out of it. My Model:Cycles was great, now it is so much better. Thanks very much for making and sharing this video. Subscribed :-) Best wishes for your continued success.
rishabh... that was fantastic!! so quick & clear & creative!! very, very helpful. thousands of thanks to you for this great video. I have liked & subscribed & am really looking forward to checking out more...
And which would you suggest has more capabilities Model cycles or digitone ? and can we do this same (what you showed in video, with 1 track multi pattern) in digitone too?
Thanks for the tips. Watched about 15 times because I don't have slow motion on my cellphone, or do I? Fingers move so fast I miss sequence of buttons you're pressing on this GEN-X TOY
I haves Digitone and it seems like there Going to work very well with each other. and I have a question a lot of people who own cycles have this print and letters on ep Do they come with the box? And the midi I/o isn’t a typical midi I/o does it come with 3.5 to midi jack wit this box?
I see you have a tutorial on the Model:Cycles on Ask Video. How in depth are those videos? I'm a noob to this kind of thing and need a super beginner's tutorial, but would love to get all the way to developing my own evolving jams.
Excellent video, very helpful reference. Just got Model: Cycles today, loving it already (Elektron does it again) - plan to get the Samples next. Question: do you know if you can copy everything you did on Track 1 and Paste to one or all of the remaining 5 tracks? (not that you would want to, but you could build somewhat of a template of a track that way.) thanks
@@rishabhrajan can we sequence a song like we can do in octatrack (does it have a songmode), and I'm in a dilemma to whether buy this or digitone, I want to create arrangements and complete 3 min songs with proper into, break, breakdown, drop etc. But with FM synthesis as the base. Based on requirements can you tell me which one is more suitable for my needs as j cannot try both as it's not available in in any shop I have to import one and hence cannot be returned, so it would be really great if you could let me know. (I need scale mode too)
@@tanmaymandal.2108 This does have a Song Mode but the Digi series of products are way more capable so you would get a lot more functionality out of those.
@@rishabhrajan but will its four tracks be a constrain ? Or can we record individual tracks as audio and midi out to Ableton using overbridge? (p.s by record I mean I have programmed a beat and just want to transfer the drum files as audio to each track and chords and melody as both audio and midi from digutone to Ableton)
I am using Ableton Live. I've also tried it with Logic Pro which is actually better. No digital distortion. That is an issue with Ableton Live and USB audio devices.

Most productive 5 1/2 minutes spent to learn a new synth- hands down. Thank you!

Sounds/ music wise the last minute of this demo is probably the best and most interesting i’ve heard

Productive video about productive usage. Thank You
Awesome thanks for the demo, I didnt realise you could do this.

Really cool thing is also use ipad as midi controler for scales. (Scale buddy). Workflow with this is really joy :)

Steve Pile it’s quite in depth. You can check out some previews to get an idea.

Did you make the leds orange??
I think it’s just a lighting issue. The LEDs are still red.
Sick
how do I save my pattern?
It's the wrench-looking button. There's a Save Pattern option in the pop-up menu. Also, there is a separate Rename Pattern option.
Cool!
Are u able to connect it to fl studios?
Where did you order this from within India or did you import it ? and do we need a different adapter or step down converter for importer model?
I’m not based in India. I’m sure it’s available there in local music stores. It comes with a universal adapter.
