I had an old 97 v70 for 8 years, fantastic car. But looking at this oil level check, is this progress? No thanks, absolutely crazy system when you could check a dip stick in a couple of ticks.
It’s very hard to tell how much oil is in the car if it’s a 2.0d 4 cylinder these have a tendency to use a fair bit off oil 0w30 a5b5 mine one would use a lt in 1300 miles. Iv got rid of it now . Would never buy a Volvo again 😢 ps keep a check on it it ether full or empty on the dash

Hard to check the oil when the electronics are acting up and you're getting no reading from the computer.

It seems you topped up wrong oil grade. It must be 0w20 Volvo spec!
