Hopefully, SLE will add the Metro-North style announcements to the M8s. "This is the train to Old Saybrook. The next station is Brandford".

the m8's are being used for sle and will start revenue service on may 24th.

yes. cdot's p40dc fleet are formal amtrak units, and they are all being rebuilt including a couple from nj transit. the one seen in the video is the last original p40dc. cdot is operated by amtrak.
