Pet peeve when u have tackle box with handle n ur about to change fishing spots so u grab ur tackle box but forget to buckle it close so now u have all ur lures on the floor

I can't remember if you've done this, but when you're fishing for an hour or longer, change lures like 86 times, not even a single bite. Someone else shows up and catches a decent fish on their first cast (or within five min). Happened to me last week, I was NOT happy with myself!!
d surick I live near Andrew flair and miliken fishing, so I’ve seen them on the water a couple times. Anyway I was fishing this lake and The milk man comes up on me and hooks a 4 pounder, so I said, DUDE IVE BEEN FISHING THIS SPOT FOR 20 MINUTES, and he goes, “My bad bro”
Once went walleye fishing with my family and we limited out. Only problem, I caught one fish. I wanted to die.

That Happened to me. I was at lake kegonza using nightcrawlers and this other dude came along and caught 2 largemouth bass in like 5 minutes and i was fishing all damn day and I caught nothing. But then the next day i caught a freshwater drum And that was good

Minnow bucket spilling in the car is way worse haha
my truck smells like fish since the day after I bought it
An old boss of mine forgot he had shad in his truck after a fishing trip. There is nothing that smells worse than that lol

Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup ruclips.net/user/postUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.

I’ve got a few myself : 1) when you’re fishing from shore , you catch a fish and take 4-5 steps back to unhook the fish , then just as you’re done , some one is now standing in your spot , as if you weren’t going to come back to your spot .
Or another one is the one where you’re there first , fishing at a dam , minding your own business , then some old guy shows up and stand two feet from you , in a few min their buddy shows up and stand 3 feet from them and start trash talking about how close you’re standing next to them , in English , thinking you don’t know the universal language 😡

The boat one cracks me up. That happens to me all the time. I'll usually start casting at them when they start getting to close. Sometimes they get the hint and steer out.
I've had a bass boat anchor on the shoal I was fishing and completely block me. I thought about tying on a 1/2 or 3/4 once weight and start pegging the boat. Chose to be the better person though

1:26 Everetime I hook any parts of my clothing, it takes me about 20 minutes to untangle the barbs, and if it takes me over 30 min, I'll just cut a hole.

The boater in the end happens to me the most. A big part of it is I fish in really 'good spots'. Good as in they're good for boaters to mess around in. Hahaha

Just binging through the series, had to comment on the boats… I fish at a lake in a tourist town, so there is heavy boat traffic on weekends. One evening, I found a spot where the trout were huge and jumping like crazy. Came back the next morning with my fishing stuff and got set up. Not as much action, but still a good amount of jumpers. Suddenly, a boat blasting loud music (yes, at 7 AM) drifts by. It was no more than ten feet away from my line. The boat then guns the engines, makes a u-turn, and zooms by in the opposite direction. Made these huge waves that got my lure tangled in some plants (RIP) and scared the fish away.

My two biggest pet peeves are,my cousins who get snagged on rocks and then making me tie on the their bait and when someone tries to net a fish for you without you asking and they snag the hook with the net releasing the fish..

Where i live boats need to be at least 100 yards away from the pier, when they come closer i talk super loud about being able to hit them with my 6oz pyramid weight. Works to get them to leave

Oh goodness, the boat thing drives me up the wall. Not so much on the coastal rivers here in Oregon but on the Deschutes outside The Dalles they insist on going right where we were casting. It's either that or they don't bother going 5mph which is posted, etched into the I-84 bridge

My fishing pet peeve is when someone fishes right next to you when you are catching fish and the person scares the fish

Good stuff. My biggest peve is when I'm fishing close to the bank from my small boat and another boater(bass boat) drives right through where I'm fishing between me and the bank. Instead of just passing behind me in open water. It's kinda like when you drive a POS beater car people are quick to cut you off and look down on you.

hey Brendan great video!! but sometimes when you do bang a dock with your bait it can attract the bass like a bluegill that bangs in the dock or boat. just a little tip.

That one about tangling your hook in the net reminds me
One day I was fishing and caught a little bullhead catfish and the spine on his fin caught on the net and got seriously tangled.
I had to cut a piece of the net off before releasing the bullhead.

When you catch a fish and by the time you unhook the fish an entire family has moved into the same spot you caught the fish.

6:15 happens to me literally every time on the water. Someone even ran over my line I was fishing an expensive topwater bait.
It's even worse when you're fishing toward a bank and a boater thinks they should get between you and the bank you're fishing. It has happened to me several times. Once a guy ran thru with the gas motor.
I bought a rapala high octane spinning combo and south bend eclipse reel and the rapala looks kind of fake what do you think
When boaters get close enough to cast at this is what big spoons are made for. And you thought they were just for fish.lol

One of my biggest pet peeves is holding fish up for a picture and dropping them. The next one would have to be when the fish you dropped or a fish in your livewell jumps out of the boat

my pet peeve is when i get lazy and jam a bunch of soft plastics into one bag and especially when i need a specific lure (ie senko watermelon red 5 inch) and all my bags of soft plastics are just miss matched and i cant find that lure for like 10 minutes and waste time and energy.
