- Prawn & bottle gourd caldine
Ingredients for thick milk & thin milk
2 cups fresh coconut
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 cloves
6 peppercorns
3 cloves garlic
2 green chillies
Warm water (for thick milk 1/2+ 1/3 cups) (for thin milk 1 & 1/2 cups)
Ingredients for prawn marination
20-25 prawns (cleaned & deveined)
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Other Ingredients required
1 small bottle gourd (275g) (cut into small pieces)
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 tomato (chopped)
2 green chillies (deseed& slit)
Walnut sized tamarind (soaked in 3 tbsp warm water)
4 tbsps oil
salt to taste
