So, I'm not 100% sure on this, but it's on the wiki, so it must be true. At 10:27, you took 10 damage from a fin alien immediately after taking 8 damage from a charger. On wave 9, the enemies would have gained 8x their +dmg/wave stat. Enemies deal 40% more damage on Danger 5. The fin alien has 1 damage at a base and gains 1 per wave, so a value of 9, or 12.6 (13) on D5. The charger has 1 damage at a base and gains 0.85, so a value of 7.8 or 10.92 (11) on D5. At 5 armor, you take 25% less damage (this is calculated after final damage value aka post rounding). 13 - 25% is 9.75 (10), and 11 - 25% is 8.25 (8) There does not seem to be any bug. The damage values are exactly what they should be on this run. However, I went back to 5:33 in the spray & pray run, and did the calculations for a charger doing 6 damage on wave 6 with 2 armor. It should be doing 5.25 (5) +40% (7), reduced by 12% to 6.16 (6) damage. Then, at 5:40 in the same wave, a horned charger (base 1, 1.1) does 8 damage, which again is 6.5 + 40% (9.1, rounded to 9) which is then reduced by 12% to 7.92. 8 damage. .... I really didn't expect to find that there doesn't seem to be any bug when doing the math. But I don't think there is? Genuinely? I thought I was going to math out the bug as real when I started this but APPARENTLY not
Character Idea: the Sleepy +10% speed, +2 regen, +2 armor, and -5 attack speed per second while standing still -5% speed -1 regen, -1 armor, and +10 attack speed per second while moving
So glad that you admitted to being a human man, and not three Brotatos in a trench coat! Thanks for the daily dose of unadulterated glee, keep being you! ❤️
Don't know if anyone has let you know, but endgame of devil got a new update yesterday with a new series of levels to progress through with different units, if that was something you'd be interested in.
I know this is obvious, so I'm sure you've probably checked it already, but you have gone into your settings and made sure you haven't accidentally turned up enemy damage above 100% right? I mean it's easy enough to accidentally do if you're trying to change the size of the letters.
If it is bleeding over from other characters, I can't explain why. My mods just use the vanilla effect for the enemy dmg modifier. Maybe it's a bug in the base game? The update doesn't include a change to the enemy dmg effect for the Blood witch (sorry Retro!). I'm sure you'll rock it anyway!
@@Retromationlike I said I knew you had , but glad you ultimately figured it out. Plus reinstalling the updated version of the mod got those bats and spiders crawling through too 👍
I am saddened to see the lack of Stand Still Build items or Pick Up range items in the shop. The two things Retro is constantly ignoring most runs finally listened and hid when he had a reason to pick them up.
Harvesting would probably be extremely good on this character since the xp gain from harvesting hits once you stop moving at the end of the waves

More brotato is always so relaxing

Damn this series is so good

I have, and I did not do that.
You can tell without checking - the game end screen would say something like "150% difficulty" or something.

Anyone else think it was odd that he didnt even make it to level 25 on that run?
yeah, I feel like this guy should have had +100% xp gain when standing still or something. 25 is just so negligible
He didn't utilize the character's passive ability that much, and with only a 25 XP gain, it hardly seems worth while.

uh where is this mod?
Not out yet, dev is still working on it and asked if I wanted to showcase it a bit early.
It's planned to release this Friday! Just pushed an update today that should fix most of the things.
Cheers for showcasing it Retro! Love it!
