I don’t think VII REBIRTH made the move to Unreal 5 mate. It looks even better than the Remake but going to Unreal 5 would need more time based of what we’ve seen from other games. Plus they went into a more Open World setting which already deserves more time to pull off. Unreal 5 is a big possibility for the last chapter of the trilogy.

The one thing I've wanted in these kinds of games since the beginning is for the characters to actually animate themselves defending themselves. The whole one animation for blocking all attacks really takes me out of the flow.
I've watched SEVERAL RUclips videos on upcoming games. All look THE SAME! Nothing too original. All dark. All battle this or that monster or swing another blade. The good news: Baldurs Gate 3, and the fact that it looks like I may actually have a year to catch up on my backstock!😅

I think that Final Fantasy graphics are not improved much but still i think it's combat system is made better than old remakes like Final Fantasy VII intergrade

It does still use UE4. It does not use UE5. Rebirth development started late 2019 and the first game is in a heavily modified UE4. I don't see them taking the extra time to swap engines at this stage of the game.
@@MrCanhaha Yeah. It does look good. It doesn't always have to be the latest engine to look good. Mortal Komat 1 is just now using UE4. Mortal Kombat 11 was still in UE3.
One of the things I don't like about these games where they have superhuman abilities is the running speeds when you get from one place to another they seem sooo damn slow compared to when they are actually fighting, like I can personally run faster than them... Should just let us blitz from place to place with our speed and make map bigger
