Holy fuck that was awesome. That's a whole hall of fame stage right there.
I know, I thought I saw a Jackson Browne too.
Harmonica....WOW!!! Just beautiful to see music with so such fun!!
Yeah, wasn't that John Popper!? Where's his acknowledgement?
Chaka is so beautiful & talented ! All she had to do is scream in the mic a few times and still sounded great! 😭LOVE that woman! The Queen Of Funk!👏🏾🔥
Always loved Chaka. Saw her live many times. But ... "All she had to do was scream" ( which is all she did ) which threw the whole performance off, IMO. Guess it's because I've seen the best of her and THIS wasn't it. Bonnie Raitt's vocals would have been prefered, and then, it would have been a performance that rocked all equal parts.
That was some funky blues! Now that's a Jam Session! Chaka's improvisations sounds like a trumpet. I see that Jackson Brown & David Sanborn are playing, too.
All of these musical legends on one stage, this is one hell of a party 🥳 🎉 going on 🎉🎉
You're damn right about that!!
Great performance!! Chaka’s head voice is incredible! Wilson Pickett would be proud!🤜🏾
Chaka's improvising I just love her.
If Bruce wouldn't be a singer he would be a Hollywood action star... who agrees? 👍
I agree totally 😃
@@clementesilva2935 anch'io perfettamente d'accordo! Ma preferisco sentirlo cantare! 😅😍🤩😘💘
Bruce Lee?
I'm here for Chaka, but y'all could have mentioned Bonnie Raitt lol. She's a legend too.
Bonnie and Chaka got that soul!
Love Ms Bonnie too!
Yep , SO many R & R 's finest !! ( no doubt )
I still will never care for any of these award shows other than when Millie Vanillie walked off with several tropheys acknowledging their great embellishment on how to lip sync so well that it's considered " perfect " perfectly !!
And Jackson Browne
Man oh man! You dont see people of this caliber sharing the same stage much anymore. I am talking pre-quarantine. Always wanted to see this along with the Tina Turner tribute they performed the same night. Chaka didnt know the lyrics to any of the songs that night. 😄
Chaka is my favorite singer.
They should have mentioned Bonnie cause she performed good.
Nobody told John Fogerty there were no Mustangs in '59?
Still awesome!
😆🤣😂!
That was hilarious, sorry.
I thought the same thing. There was some confusion on stage.
John Fogerty e Bruce. Perfects
Fantastic!!
Two of my favourite singers, Bruce & John, love both of them 💕💕💕🎉🌞
Amazing, great tribute for Wilson Pickett very soulman ❤👌👌
LOVE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN BUT,WILSON PICKETT THIS IS HIS SONG HE SINGS IT PURRFECT ❤
Wow...Superb song
Many thanks
I wish Happy Day for all without covid-19.
Ascoltare questa dopo aver registrato una versione di mustang sally.... è un grande bagno di umiltà 😅
I love how she seems to be semi distracted then BAM then "oh I dropped my thing"
Bonnie Raitt is one of the greatest and so underrated
C'mon John Popper's harp is immense here!
So good. The boss
All Legends
Mamouth sound machine !! Wouls have LOVED to have been there !!
Ohhh hellll yeesssssss ... !!
DUKE KAHANAMOKU was the man with the plan back in that time brada !!
I knew Don HO by name , after his second show at DUKE'S in the International Marker Place Don would stand out on Kuhio Ave. , on the other side of Kaulakaula Blvd. , particially intoxicatted with his fur coat on and his arm's around Lawerance and Betty . He had on the matching Aloha shirt to her Moo-moo , they wore them together one last time at their 68th anninversery !!
..... probably at the Moose Hall somewhere outside of Millwaukee .
What cha want -a - bet ?
Super einfach nur genial !
Awesome video
Dream team

Excelente!!!!!
Cool. Thx
John Popper extra !🤩
Damn Chaka got the voice AND the coke workin overtime here.
Nah, it was the pot here...she ain't skinny here like in her Rufus years ;)
@2:21 - Jon Lovitz on trumpet.
3:23 Yep. That's right. A 1959 Mustang. Look it up.
❤
Chaka could have blown them away.
Yesssssssss
Never got Springsteen he don’t sing just shouts !!
Damn....
I don’t think Chakra knew what song they were singing but Bunny Raitt sure did.
And Roger McQuinn on 12 string
I didn't know Ron Jeremy knew how to play trumpet!! LOL!!
2:22
What about John Popper. Plays the site out of the harmonicas.
Got the mustang need Sally .
💞💞💞💞💞💞
Ron Jeremy on trumpet 02:23
Yup
Excente version
3 . 29 That’s how you do it.
does any one ever notice every video like this Paul shaffer is always there?
There is A LOT of hair on that stage.
Her
Awesome
Integrity
Right On Man..
🥁 Ride Baby !!! 🧲🧰
Chaka higher than the heavens in this vid lol
I see Wil Lee on bass.
Chaka makes everyone else sound like absolute trash! She’s really THE 🐐.

@@robrobster9148 not a fan Rob?
@@charliblake8551 she's obviously a great singer. That being said, i don't know her body of work. As far as Bruce goes i know all of his work and what he can do with his voice. John Fogerty is a great Rock voice. He is the sound of CCR a legendary band from the 60's/70's. To me it seems that all the songs the artists did during this Rock Hall event wasn't rehearsed at all. Best, Rob (The Netherlands Europe)
Who´s the guy with the blues harp?
John Popper?!
Who is the guy in harmônica??
John Popper (Blues Traveler)
Wow. Chaka Fan. 😂
That's my song
Nobody had a Goddamned clue what they were doing, and nobody knew the words.
Finally someone being honest.
Who is playing the bass guitar?
I'm pretty sure it's Will Lee, who played bass with Paul Shaffer's band on the David Letterman Show.

She doesn’t know it. Thank goodness Bonnie
I heard a woman with a wonderfull voice shouting a little too much... That must be Chaka.
That shouting was all good, I see Bruce was shouting but you had no problem with that 🤔
@@ronaldw548 Less problem with him.
Mustang Sally, huh, ha
Guess you better slow your mustang down, oh Lord
What I said now
Mustang Sally now baby, oh Lord
Guess you better slow your mustang down, huh, oh yeah
You been running all over town now
Oh, guess I have to put your flat feet on the ground, huh
What I said now
Listen
All you want to do is ride around Sally (ride, Sally, ride) Huh
All you want to do is ride around Sally (ride, Sally, ride) Huh
All you want to do is ride around Sally (ride, Sally, ride) Ha
All you want to do is ride around Sally, oh Lord (ride, Sally, ride)
Well isn't it
One of these early mornings, hey
Woah, gonna be wiping your weeping eyes, huh
What I said now, lookit here
I bought you a brand new mustang
A nineteen sixty five, huh
Now you come around signifying a woman
You don't want to let me ride
Mustang Sally now baby, oh lord
Guess you better slow that mustang down, huh, oh Lord
Lookit
You been running all over town
Oh, I got to put your flat feet on the ground, huh
What I say now
Let me say it one more time, y'all
Now, all you want to do is ride around Sally (ride, Sally, ride) Huh
All you want to do is ride around Sally (ride, Sally, ride) Oh Lord

...Chaka was really "high"....:)....
1959? Mustangs didn't come out until the end of 1964.
Does not matter when you are John Fogerty!!!! Lol...
I loved the performance, but it seemed like Chaka didn't know the song.
Chaka's ad-libs. She flows with the music whenever she's jamming.
She knows the song it's just the coke baby.
Chaka has admitted on numerous occasions she is not familiar with most blues songs.
Hell none of them seemed to know the words.
There is no 1959 Mustang,
Chaka is high as a kite and just in the way.
Bonnie rait
Paul Shaffer kind of messed this up when came up and started talking to John Fogerty
Chaka could even blow Aretha off of the stage!!!
She did many times.
Toquen un Mlu..
OK,,,,,,,,????,,,,,,,
Mrs. Chaka wanted to kiss Fogerty
Obviously you're not a fan of hers, because you would know she performs this way with most male singers it's called creating chemistry. She performs better when she does
I saw thatt
John Forgerty, buddie, Mustang's wern't on the market till 1964 , ......
not 1959 !!
Think l prefer Jimmy Barnes version.
I think she's wasted
Wish that Chaka Khan wasn’t there. I would’ve much preferred Bonnie Raitt, Springsteen and John Fogerty. She was the black Yoko Ono on stage. Sit the hell down
She couldn't blend with the sound- (wasn't her thing).
@@Cerph you clearly don’t know anything
Chaka is the most soulful thing about this Bruce is terrible
@@cushe83 bruce e stato perfetto! Chi gridava? 🤔🙄🥰❤️💕💕❤️💕

Bruce was shouting
Man... Chaka Annoying. Let's all learn the song before getting on stage hey. And where is Bonnie and Jackson
in the title? Seriously!!
MFer' please, none of them knew the song. She added the soul, you just mad because Bonnie name wasn't included, get over it.
This. Is. Horrible. (All due respect to Bruce, and Fogerty, and of course Chaka Khan.) But this mostly lily-white version of a great Black soul tune goes wrong from the opening bars by featuring the repulsive, self-indulgent, soulless John Popper. Bruce and Chaka try to breathe some life into this Frankenstein monster, but it's dead on arrival. An embarrassment for everyone on the stage. Criminal charges should ensue.
I agree Chaka tried to put the soul in that song, which what it was missing.
Sorry but it’s embarrassing that the African American female vocalist obviously doesn’t know this classic Wilson Picket song; leave it to Bruce & Mr. Fogerty to turn in solid performances
Her name is Chaka Khan and you are the embarrassment
@@annedar4855 ruclips.net/video/G_2aSqF6JHU/видео.html&ab_channel=rsibal20
A lot of black people don't know this song, It depends on what music you were raised on. Yep
Who are you to say what we should know you culture vulture . You wouldn’t have anything to steal from is if it weren’t for our contributions to music
@@boulou5995 I know it
Her singing is off
Bonnie Rait did a better job lol
Too many cooks in the kitchen
Stupid number of guitars on stage.
wow this is awful! sounds like amateur jam night at the local around midnight.
Chaka - disturbing and ruining the whole show.
The mullet was the dumbest thing ever and Bruce might have had the worst one of all 😏
Aaahhhh. The one guy said it was a 1959 mustang…. First mustang was produced in 1964(5)…….
Not a slight snafu…. A big fubar!
