Which one was your favorite? (Mine were Ontario and Alberta) and which country would you like to see in the future? *correction from TommyJames, there were two regions (Quebec and Ontario - regions and not provinces) during the confederation
I enjoyed your Ontario flag but I don't like the Manitoba one since you litteraly stole the cow from Wyoming and I'd rather not steak stuff from US flags, and I also think you NERFED the British Colunbia flag, the complex sun is beutiful just the way it is and it's my favourite of the current flags
The confederation is from 1867 to now. So confederal Canada went fron 4 provinces (Québec, Ontarion, NB, NS) to 10 provinces and 3 territories. I think you refer to the preconfederal Canada which was made of 2 regions (Canada-East, nowdays Québec, and Canada-West, nowdays Ontario)
Albertan here. I think our flag is fine, love that blue, but the coat of arms is terrible. Instead of redesigning flags, other symbols can and should be reworked. (And not in the way of just making a bad coat of arms larger, like what did happen. It was nicer when it was smaller like the coat of arms on Nova Scotia's flag.) The coat of arms of the NWT is very well done and something that maybe we should emulate. Other provinces are fine with me generally, except I prefer green, white and pink for Newfoundland. Ontario and Manitoba should not go changing. BC actually flies very well since I have seen it on a number of flags poles when travelling. Only reworks may be Saskatchewan (proportions are strange), and remove the flowers underneath Yukon's coat of arms, less is more in that case. This brings me to a second point which is instead of wholesale changes to some modern corporate logo of a flag which removes also all history make simple, small changes to redress problems. The new flags of Minnesota is an example of what can go wrong because I find it almost soulless. NAVA's own flag is a prescription for disaster. Getting caught up in the trend of redesigning everyone's flag to NAVA standards has problems as well which include taking very traditional flags and changing them into bed sheets.
I'm always glad to see the Maritime flags get some love. I really like PEI's flag as is, but your redesign is the only one I've ever seen that I think looks a bit better. One redesign that I would do would be taking Newfoundland's current flag and swapping out the blue for green and the red for pink. It makes for a nice compromise between the official flag and the tri color.
Quick correction - there were four provinces during the 1867 Canadian confederation (Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.) I'm assuming you meant the two regions that made up Upper and Lower Canada?
hm. Ontarian here, and while I agree with everything you said about ideas for redesigning the Ontario flag, I'm not really liking the suggested flag. I think I'm mainly objecting to the yellow. Maybe if the trillium was white and the wavy lines were blue, I'd like it better? But I really want the maple leaf in there too, somehow. hm. This isn't easy, is it?
Thanks friend! The flower can be made white for sure but I like green and yellow! However, blue on green won’t work! You could add a white maple leaf in a blue white section next to the green
Once I saw a proposed flag of Alberta and Manitoba ant straight up I down loaded the and named them “ah hel nah British Alberta” and “ah hel nah British Manitoba”
as a british columbian myself I think you did a good job but (probably entirely bias) I do prefer the original. you nailed PEI and NWT and Albertas is also really nice.
Hey hey bonhomme pas trop une bonne idée de vouloir changer les drapeaux dès province du Canada mais je voirais bien comme drapeau municipal où de peuple de première nation où autre
sigh, the only 3 that need addressing: Alberta, Manitoba & Ontario.Keep it simple make these 3 banners of the shield of their coats of arms. The rest is just click bait. A note about Ontario's: over the years the province has increased the size of the shield to be much larger than it was in the 1960's & the Union Jack Smaller. When Nunavut was created, the people of NWT were asked if they wanted a new name for the territory. No was the answer, one of the most popular alternatives was "Bob". Now I'd love to see you come up with a flag for BOB!

Hello, Can you make future territorial flags from another countries?

- El Salvador

Ontariooooooooooooo
@@djangel3108according to some RUclips channels the British Columbia flag is one of the worst flags in the world 🗺️

How dare u remove that good boy from the Yukon flag (the husky)
it was really hard to do

The blue represents britain and also the ocean. Changing the colours ruins the meaning.

Thanks Tommy! Yes that’s what I meant. I’ll add it to my pinned comment

If you have time, can you redesign the Indonesian provincial flag? because most Indonesian provincial flags only have their emblems attached

Thanks man, I appreciate it! Cheers!
3:13 Isn't that King Charles, the son of King James? Or is it my small phone making them look alike?
W flags, W channel
Not tryna be a hater but some of these flags could be improved upon further like british columbia and new brunswick
True, I did simplify both a bit more but I felt like I wanted to keep them close to the heraldry
I think BC is oerfect the way it is, the sun doesn't need simplifying with that grand glimmering design
The alternative flag for Newfoundland is inspired by Ireland, not Italy.
A lot of newfie have irish ancestors, very few have italian ancestors
He said. “I think it looks like Italy”
Bro, just created the Confederate battle flag 3:47
lol it would have a different meaning in Canada

I like the current flags of Manitoba and Ontario. I don’t believe they need to be redesigned. They are eye catching and historic. 🇨🇦
