I just understand Sam.. just imagine being so oppressed so robbed of your own feelings for years then discovering such an overwhelming romantic feelings like this for Mon which she doesn't understand at all, ON TOP OF all those pressures she has right now? She gotta figure out how to deal with Krik, to get out of the situation with Grandma, remembering the trauma of losing a sister that basically had the same situation with her right now....., to save her company cuz the company and work is her original passion and used to be her only happiness, AND to navigate her relationship with Mon which she has no prior knowledge/experience about...... an ordinary person will go crazy. Sam did okay in my book.
EXACTLY THANK YOU
Yes, thanks for understanding trauma, it is an emotional injury. I totally relate to Sam and sympathize with her...I don't excuse her methods, but she did not have Mon's upbringing and she is emotionally stunted.
@@rhambosia1 exactly.. I understand her flaws and I believe she should do better, but I just can't blame her.
Well said👏
@@iMeg_ agree, and also i think she with every episode start more understand what she feels and how express this
Mon is indeed a good partner imo, she’s very patient and accepting for who Sam is and why she behaves the way she behaves.. that’s a very rare trait to come by in a relationship but at the same time Mon speaks about her feelings and draws boundaries when needed. I would say Sam is the luckier one
Yes,i agreed to you☺️
+1
In fact, in the TV series they softened Sam more, in the novel she is colder and tougher at the beginning, in Mon's dismissal scene, she throws the job at her and humiliates her in front of the employees. True, her methods are out of the ordinary, but when you don't have the love or warmth that someone like Mon did, you can't ask for too much. The human mind is complex and healthy growth is important for a child and her adulthood.
"We quit, we quit"🤣😂 I love your reactions... Yeah Sam was borderline psychotic
I can feel your frustration towards Sam being unreasonable. This was my reaction too while watching Ep.7. But then, after all of the things that happened, Sam has reasons why she did it but in unique way that we can't understand. They're both confused. And I laughed on how you reacted when Mon said she's quitting like "That's my girl"😂. Anyways, applause for Freen and Becky's acting. They're improving alot, especially Becky. I love how she handled those emotions.
Thank you so much for reacting and supporting GAP The series!
In the novel, when Sam found Kirk holding Mon's hand, she threw a shoe on his face lol
May I know where can I read the novel
" We still have to kill kirk and the grandma " 🤣🤣 rightttt !! OMG this episode ... you know, sam could just simply say " i'm sorry for the way i treated you and i want you to know that i love you, be my gf. " easy !! instead of all the annoying and stupid things she said. But after all i'm super happy for them, they're so cute 🥺🥺 i mean i can't watch the episodes without you cuz it feels like i'm watching it with my friend and your reactions are absolutely relatable and sometimes veryyyy funny 😂😂 so thank you for that 💛🌼 I'm waiting impatiently for the next episodeeee, sam pushing kirk to the groundddd yesss sam 🤣😂
Dont worry , the author of gap already killed grandma in gap book 2 haha ..
@@JLFB-om4uw THANKS GOODNESS 🤣
Kirk says he likes Mon, "Can someone get rid of him already." Unpauses, Sam sends him flying. The timing xD
42:20 😅😭🤣 I watched another reaction of this episode and he said ("they just need to wait for the grandmother to die. She's old so its not gonna take some time for them to wait before she die") Everyone hates the grandmother 😂
I also got stressed with some scenes where Sam behaves that way 😂
I believe Sam has like a Childhood Trauma Disorder that kept developing and that’s why she’s the way she is. I mean, we can all see she doesn’t behave in a “normal” way 😕 The situation with her family (where are her parents btw? Did they died or something? I don’t remember 😅). So she has abandonment (intended or not) plus rejection and pressure from her grandmother, through what it seems all of her life, suffering in both personal and professional sphere. And seen what her grandma did to her sister… 😬 Living with someone like this, living in a situation like that where you don’t feel loved, accepted, heard, validated, feel pressured all the time, criticized, mistreated, etc. can be traumatic and in some cases can make you even develop a decease that shows in a physical way. And the way she is at work, beside being pretty diligent because is her passion, her ideal work/project, the word that comes to my mind is “power” (and sometimes “violence” that can be verbal and some cases physical) it’s, again, a reflection of what she have lived with her grandmother…
I say this not to excuse her, but to understand her character. But I hope we are going to see a development, at least I hope so. Sam accepting Mon’s deal about being honest was a great step.
Can’t wait for the next episode and your reaction! 😊
Her parents died when she was a teenager and her grandmother brought them up.
@@bergmaninberg1566 thank you!!! 🫶🏻
Was that in the first episode? I don’t know why I don’t remember 🤡
@@CleopatraPhilopator No, it's in the book. I think some information is left unsaid in the series, like in the last episode why Jim is jealous of Mon or in the wedding, when Mon says Sam hasn't rehearsed at night, you can't really know if she has been spending almost all her nights at Sam's or just a couple more.
That "kill grandma and kill kirk" 😂😂😂
First watch, I agreed with you agreed with you about Sam. She was doing a lot but then I remembered how we met Sam. She literally fired 2 long term employees for breaking the rules. Us as an audience knows the relationship between Mon & Sam but to the employees Sam firing people isn’t new that’s why they accepted Mon leaving so quickly. I do agree that they do unfortunately need to talk about Kirk bc it also ties in the fact that Mon is keeping a secret from Sam. Including this episode we’ve seen that bathroom 3 times.
Yes and the first time Sam literally invited mon to come inside when she was scared😅
I do agree on this
In this ep. They change two major scenes from the novel. First Sam didn't fire mon but pressure her to quit by her own decision and when met evil plan sam admit her lose completely. Second (with I feel so sad about this) Sam cry along side mon when they confessed their feeling. She overjoin when mon ask her out after her first confessed made mon confuse and run away.
Don't be so harsh on Sam. The girl seriously don't know how to manage her feelings. I think she is trying her best, just in her own way because she don't really know any other way. Her grandmother damaged her so much.
Also Sam don't like Kirk at all, she have to marry him because of her grandmother so I don't worry about him
Freen has 3 small tattoos , a paw , tulip and a line rainbow color , by the way i still love this episode .. I really love your reaction ..
Really? i only have seen a Paw and tulip, where's the other tattoo?
the line rainbow is not a permanent one..the tulip tatt is infinity tulips
This episode was definitely a roller coaster of emotions😂 I can’t wait for the next episode. I was surprised at the teaser for the next episode I was like “is kirk confessing to mon or something??”
I can understand Sam's character cause I have been in a similar situation myself. Being oppressed for so long, you just don't know whom to trust or even respond to love. Everyone seems selfish so you get habituated living under your shell, showing your emotionless side. Sam is trying to open up and is getting better at communication. She's trying to be vulnerable and honest to Mon and even her "little" efforts that might seem negligible compared to Mon's are in fact huge steps for her. Those little steps are her stepping out of her comfort zone. It won't happen in one day and we cannot expect her to suddenly act like how we expect her to, but one day it will happen definitely.

I love your reactions and I can see where you’re coming from when u said this ain’t your favorite plot, but I really do love the plot, and I love it exactly because they don’t shy away from portraying the protagonists as real, imperfect characters that are slowing figuring out their feelings and themselfs. Although Mon is younger, she has a lot more emotional maturity than Sam bc of her upbringing, and for me is beautiful to see her starting off not even concieving that a relationship between two woman is possible, to finally admiting she likes Sam and asking her out. And Sam was so pressured her entirely life that she is a completely different person from that teenager that came to Mon’s rescue. She never allowed herself to be trully herself because she saw what that did to her sister. I agree that her traumas don’t give her a free pass to treat Mon the way she did, but it does explain a lot. And the thing is that she is a 30-ish years old woman who had zero romantic or even social experiences in life, she is almost an alien trying to communicate herself and that is why only her closest friends understand what she means. I love how Mon is slowing taking down the walls Sam built to protect herself and I love seeing them discovering their feelings and having these first experiences togheter.
You explain very well Show that you understand life well.
As someone who read the novel, I'm no longer surprised by Sam's behaviour in the series so I didn't even question it here 😅 but imo her apologizing to Mon wouldn't be in character; it makes sense to us, but we've already seen that Sam doesn't act and think like everyone else do due to her past trauma. It's only after she meets Mon that she slowly (very slowly 🙄) learns how to express her feelings and how not to be so cold and distant all the time 😔 and I'm afraid there's still some more frustration with Sam's character to come 😬 Anyway! I love your reactions, they are my favorite ones 😄
I can't deal more frustration. Today it broke my heart
I love how Sam's friends comforting Mon whenever they have an argument or misunderstanding, they're not like other group of friends that gaslight or blame, but they make sure that everything is alright.
I really like that you’re very mature and clear about their relationship.. I agree completely with you that there are still no excuses for how Sam behaves no matter what childhood traumas she has been through.. I see Mon’s purpose in Sam’s life as a healer. Oh well, it’s always a grey area on what’s ‘right’ and ‘wrong’ in a r/s.. it’s up to both of them to handle it and learn
I love your analysis and I am so happy that your reactions are like mine. Sam is being particularly difficult, however perhaps one can understand that she is also going through emotional stress. Still a brilliant Episode! So well directed, he/she is a genius xx
I’m from Thailand
I think Sam acts like this because she doesn't really have any parameters of love, I mean the only person she thinks that really loves her is her grandmother, who treats her with authority and pressure and NEVER acts like she's wrong. She really believes that the way she treats Sam and her granddaughters is the right way to give love and nurture, so I think that Sam after losing her parents and eventually her sisters, ended up not only developing that way of hers but also acting as her Grandma in situations that she don't know how to deal. She only ends up realizing that she really is wrong about something when Mon points it out to her. It's really complicated to be understanding with someone like that, but I'm happy that Mon, little by little, is showing her the right and true way to treat someone you love.
Also I think mon rise differently her parent love her not like Sam her grandmother are so strict
Ty for your reaction to this!! Omg, so good. “This is no way to treat people” You are killing it! Must be so hard to be in Sams’ position, so closed off. Mon really sweet and innocent… arghh.
I like your sympathy towards mon I don't know but I was laughing you said
'That's my girl '
We felt same when watched that first time 😂😂
I love your reactions🙏🏻 I totally agree with you on Sam's behavior. Yes she has difficult family circumstances and that's why she is the way she it but I really wish she would apologize and admit that how she treated Mon was not okay. As Mon I would want that too. I really hope in the next few episodes Sam learns to communicate better and is not so mean without reason
Actually GAP team and FreenBecky made their Mon and Sam have more good characters than the novel itself, they adjust and changed a lot of scenes for the better...MonSam characters here is the more better you can see with them... You'll get to understand them more in no time esp to Khun Sam,lots of people misunderstood her...Like she grew up with a family with no warmth and such, she doesn't know what and how to express her feelings, she's afraid to bet bcs she's not used to feeling emotions, it's also hard on her part but somehow being with Mon taught her how to be the better version of herself..so yeah,I hope people would understand their characters more...
I really like your reactions 💖
And about Kirk, just don't think about him.. He's a pain in the a$$ lols,Sam doesn't like him at all,she just treats him like her friend... It's not really an engagement but just an agreement between them,if they turned 30+ and still has no one, they would just marry each other and with Sam's grandmother pushing them too but Sam doesn't like him even a bit and Kirk knows that....but he's still a j*rk lols
I blamed the grandmother she rise sam like that
Yes, her character is complicated because of the background of her family, grandmother . It's a strict and cultural way of high level people in Thailand or Asian people do that.
I don't think they let sam get away with it. Sam, who is inexperienced in communication and expressing her emotions properly , has her own way of dealing with things, which isn't always the best. However, I'm sure that will improve as they go along, and she will have her own way of apologizing. Mon, thankfully, seems to understand that and accepts it, but that doesn't mean she doesn't stand her ground or question sam when she needs to, as we've seen.
I’m interested in what kind of plot you would like to see them in if they were both hired for another gl?:) I think I would like to see something like becky being the serious and cold person and Freen as the sweet bright person. Maybe a horror GL would be interesting 🤔
I would really love a detective/ thief type of plot 👀
I feel like judging Sam based on the normal standard is not the way to go.
By being raised lacking of empathy and sympathy, I see that Sam sometimes doesn’t understand why people feel a certain way. She does harsh things so easily because she doesn’t understand that they are harsh and will make people sad or anxious. There are several scenes that Sam needs to ask Mon if Mon was angry at her or not, because she couldn’t tell by herself. When she lacks exposure to people, she doesn’t need to communicate. Since she never does it, she doesn’t know how to.
The sad thing is nobody ever taught her, since nobody dares. Most people respects her because of her title and she gets used to ordering people to do things. Her grandmother is the only person who dares to teach her, and we can see how she is like. Her grandmother doesn’t even blame herself for Song’s death. It is quite extreme.
I feel sorry for Sam. Sam is the person who has a lot going on in her mind but won't say anything. So, I look into her expression instead.
She couldn't bear Mon walking away and wanted Mon to stop crying. Then, even if she said what was in her heart, Mon misunderstood and cried harder. Sam was crying inside at that point. She was frustrated with herself. Then, Mon asked her to be her girlfriend. I can see how happy and awkward she was, since she doesn't know how to react.
However, her eyes and actions say a lot of things, like the way Sam wiped Mon’s tears and looked at her, like pleading her to stop crying. My favorite part is when Sam said “You’re the best” to Mon. Because to her, Mon is probably the best thing that happens in her life. She never had such happiness before since her world is full of stress, lack of freedom, and depression.
I think Mon understands what Sam was trying to communicate; she knows Sam is not capable of saying a lot of things, but what matters to her is that Sam loves her as well.
I agree Sam needs to work towards communication, but at the meantimes, they understand each other and that’s enough for them.
Right... Character Sam very different and we must understand why Sam act like this.
Why is Sam acting like it's Mon's fault 😭😭 Mon should be the one angry nit her 😭😭
Its the best episode for me!!
I think sam its hard for her to express her feeling
Was definitely waiting for your reaction after watching this episode
My ritual is to watch the episode and then watch your reaction right after ❤️😘 lots of love from Australia! Adore your reactions hahha you're all of us 😅
I think Sam just don't know how to express her feelings and Mon will teach her how to, she just need time, so I believe her character will be better with dealing with mon as the series continues. Sam will apologize to Mon in different ways other than saying it.
It's a rollercoaster episode 🤧😍
Your reaction was epic lol
Her grandmother choice kirk not her ..she doesn't love kirk
Sam just yeeted kirk off the screen lmao. XD
I love the way you reacts to this episode😂 of Sam and Mon, Im very excited for episode 8, I hope gap the series have a happy ending😎
'can someone get rid of him'
Sam tries too but then you say she has anger issues and is violent 😂😂
Been waiting for you always to review Gap. I don't want to watch anyone reviewing this than you 😊💕
Sam is a person with problems unsolved (all because her grandmother) she needs help. She clearly doesn't know how to express her emotions and feelings. She felt all that Mon tell her at her office but she just doesn't know how to act or deal with her feelings. Obviously she was mean with Mon and we don't like that, but I understand her character. Her grandmother made her a repressed person with zero confident about people and feelings. She never has a person who to be in love, she never kissed anyone, never had a relationship and she is 30 so you guess the damage her grandmother did to her.
this is the best episode become lovers love wins❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯 i love gap the series 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
We shared same anger 🫢
50:00 i literally said that when i was watching like they got so many kiss and lip biting scene when they werent together now they together and not a single touch of the lips
WE GOT GAPED!!!!!
as much as I love Sam, i cant agree more when you pointed out Sam's actions. Sam has a lot to learn after this, communication, anger management, etc. Especially when she goes physical, say with Kirk, Tee (the prawn day), or Jim (although unintentionally).
now that we've finished EP7, we need to get things organized again in our heads too. this rollercoaster ride was too much to handle LOL
I dont usually watch series reaction videos, but since last week yt is recommending your videos, then today ok tried and i didnt regret it, its good to know the reaction of adult viewers just like me. Will watch your previous react videos for Gap. 😊
And now every GL must need bathtub scene. The iconic line hungry ? What do u wanna eat ? We know that ans🤭. In 2024 no one can beats their first series kissing😎
You represent all of us .. I'm a fan of your reaction now ❤
Sam is a sweetheart such a Beautiful lover
I love your reaction. I wait for you to upload a video after every episode. Kiss from POLAND😘
get it that some of you might think that Sam and mon want to hide their relationship but that's not it. Kirk and sam have agreed that if one of them find someone else then the other have to leave them so if sam is dating mon while being engaged to kirk it's really not wrong it's the right thing because they BOTH agreed on that but another reason is first sam have to beak up with kirk in order to date mon publicly but it's not that easy you know so and only they both know that the other one can date anyone but not the whole world so people may think that sam is cheating that's why they are hiding their relationship now (this is what I think)🤧🤧💗💗
that's from the novel, not necessarily what they're gonna do here. In the novel, Nita is nonexistent, that she's the key for this plot.
@@iMeg_ no, nita was there as the girl kirk was dating but in the series they changed as she is a boss of another company
@@iMeg_ I mean I really don't remember clearly but it's the same plot of the deal between Sam and kirk in the series too I've read it somewhat 7 months ago I guess
@@praeweee yes, Nita represented that third person (I never remember her name) but clearly not as someone Krik is cheating on with in this tv series.. I see khun Nita is someone who has interest in Sam instead and now probably with Mon too. So, I'm curious. And about the deal with Krik, they still haven't told us about Krik's motivation yet, because in the novel, Krik is absolute jerk as well, kinda different on how they presented Krik especially in ep 1 and 2.. Additionally, Freen and Heng both said they will reveal each and every significant character's background/motivation later. So, I'm assuming it's gonna be a bit different than the novel. A lot has been different already.
@@iMeg_ yeah I guess so maybe you're saying the right thing but I don't understand if Nita likes sam or mon 🤔
I love how you get mad at Sam for not apologizing 😂😂❤
I love how open you are lol i feel you just want to take in and write the story where sam is not too complicated but she was raised by an strict grandmom so i can relate
Waiting AKDJKSKJACJ 😭😭 I'm waiting for the next ep but it's better if i have someone to watch with me 😭😭 I'm lonely HAHAHAHA
Damn you're fast 😅. Thank you for the reaction video 💕
Lmao. I loved your commentary. Everything you said was exactly what I was thinking the whole time 😂
I loved this episode but Sam needs to communicate with Mon more
Lydia Lane you give the best reactions, I swear. (And, yes, I also noticed the toilet seat!🤭😄) You're the BEST!!! I'm almost hoping for your reaction ahead of the actual episode, if that isn't crazy😂🤣😄
I feel like behind the scenes Sam has been doing a lot of "logical" analysis of the situation she is in and the steps to go about solving it. I may be looking too deep into it, but Mon said it herself- Sam is very strict about work and recently Mon has been impacting that in both positive and negative ways. Mon is still on probation so any firing or quitting can be done without having to provide a reason by either party. However if Sam and Mon have a relationship while they are both employed and Sam either changes the rules or doesn't fire Mon then that will be seen as favouritism straight away and make it harder for Mon to find a job in the fututre.
However, if Sam fires Mon during her probationary period then the most anyone can say is that Sam is an overly strict boss and that Mon didn't deserve to be fired and people would congratulate Mon if she quit instead. I think Sam's plan was to fire or pressure Mon into quitting then wait or date in secret for a while so that it doesn't seem like they were dating while working together. This is also highlighted when Sam says "not yet" to Mon when talking about people at work knowing. The main thing Sam forgot is that people have emotions and communication is key to any relationship, so she didn't tell Mon anything and caused a whole bunch of problems.
I'm sorry for this essay of a message and I'm not saying this to condone anything she said because she caused a lot of hurt for Mon which she still hasn't apologised for. But these are my thoughts on Sam's process because this was such a Mon-centric episode and we don't get to see what was up with Sam during any of this 😅
"can someone murder kirk already?" I laugh so hard on that, lol. i can but I'm not there.
"Can someone get rid of Kirk already?"
*Sam pushes him into outer space*
Freen kickboxing kirk haha😂
My anger towards Sam this ep ☺️:📈📈📈📈📈📉📉📉📉📈📈📈📈
Sam seems to have the inability to pick up on social cues but idk
I don’t like how they didn’t have her apologize atleast she didn’t verbally but I’m happy they’re together❤️❤️
รอๆ
Mon is the best 💗💗💗
If everything problem clear now the drama finished mam... 😀😀😀
Perk of dating Sam: We can borrow her money and get lots of gifts lmaooooooooo

Your reaction is priceless
This series has gaps for real but I still like the show
