I really love your channel. You present very well, and you definitely do your research. As I was watching your video on Mamie Van Doren, I remembered the scene in Pulp Fiction where Uma Thurman and John Travolta were in that club Jack Rabbits. There was a blonde server, and I believe Uma pointed out it was Marilyn Monroe,but Travolta corrected her and said that's Mamie Van Doren. Perhaps that was Quentin Tarantino's way of giving her credit. I would love to see a bio on Janet Leigh, Jamie Lee Curtis mother, truly Hollywood royalty, Audrey Hepburn, or Lonette McKee. 💛💛💛💛

Wow, I did not know she was still alive. I'm a huge pin up girl fan, have Jane Mansfield, Josephine Baker, Marilyn Monroe, Veronica Lake, Ava Gardner, Bettie Page, Barbara Stanwick, and Dorothy Dandridge tattooed on my arm. Mamie Van Doren was on the list, but I ran out of room.

What Madonna did in the 80s & 90s, Mamie been did that in the 50s & 60s. Madonna may have been inspired by Marilyn but Mamie was already doing what Madonna did. She was ahead of her time & is sooo underrated. She's a legend and I hope she gets honoured with an Oscar Honour award or something really soon. She needs to receive her flowers 💐 immediately !! 🩷

I Even have some young and sexy pics of her on my cell phone! Didn't know she sang so much! She was really just as talented as Marilyn Monroe or Jayne Mansfield but in history she is put third to those top two blonde bombshells in general. Mamie aged very beautifully! I only knew of her because of her romantic liaisons and her being seen as a Marylin Monroe knock off. I think she left Hollywood after Marylin died because the whole “dumb blonde” era was pretty much over after that. I think her acting was always criticized it I personally think she was a much better actress then Jayne was.

What a stunner!!! I think movies get labeled as scandalous to build excitement. I don't know if you remember the movie "The Warriors.' It came out in the late 70s and people said that they were afraid it would incite teenagers to rebel and go out and fight in the streets. Well, when I hear that something is scandalous or 'bad', I want to go see! boy, what a disappointment! LOL
