Really pleased that DM referred to his playing with Jethro Tull (seeing as the interviewer omitted this pertinent fact in his intro).
His remark about songs reminds me of what Richard Thompson said in one of those songwriters' circle shows, that he considered himself a guitarist within a song rather than an instrumentalist for the sake of it.
Great. An interview with DM. I love seeing him play, hopefully at Cropredy again this year.
