@@Derploop yeah watching from NZ it all looks pretty exciting. We get little bits of news on the game development in the US. That 7's programme looks sharp all rite. You guys have so much talent over there that if we do get any serious conversion from your traditional sports, it's going to be all on.
You could see with the tackles, they were taking it soft. But the technique and aim was on point. At 12:45, you see that he's aiming behind. Really, you choose your moment, aim slightly in front to lead the collision, and end up starting your tackle at center mass then as the initial impact dissipates, pulling them down to your side. If you take it late, you're trying to pull them down with your elbow, which is way off your center of gravity and you end up putting all the force into your forearm and fingers; not nearly as strong as your chest and shoulders.
As a kid In New Zealand passing a rugby ball amongst friends and kicking the ball around is 2nd nature, tackling is taught as part of the fundamentals of the sport. There's a position on the field for any body no matter what size, height, weight or shape you are in so long as you have the heart of a lion.
Ye it happens bro I’m a tiny kid and I play the girl thrown up on the line outs to catch the ball and my friend one of the best tacklers on the team small but strong she’s tiny compared to the massive guys she’s got to tackle but it happens she’s the strongest tackler on our team
@Da skrrrt Skrrrt Speed, accuracy, timing do make a difference but agility has nothing to do with it here. Juji is faster, stronger, more powerful, heavier, more agile than Tom even despite his greater muscle mass. You got it partly right though. It's more an issue of the technique and of course timing and accuracy are part of that technique. Bones is huge with tons muscle mass and his tackle is perfect. Juji's problem is his trajectory and timing. His trajectory is off because he's an acrobat and gets way too much air before his hit rather than exploding and launching from a lower base like Bones (the proper way to tackle in football, rugby and even when shooting a wrestling takedown). Juji's hit is at the end of his aerial launch so there's less force by the time he reaches his target. The others, even Tom, are connecting sooner and using that momentum to plow through and take their target with them. The reason Juji's accuracy is off is because his timing is off. He gets so much air it delays his time until impact so that by the time he connects, their body is passed him and he's not connecting with his full body behind the hit, but rather, just his arm/shoulder.

For everyone that hasnt played rugby, the last tackle is like a prop (one if the largest players on the pitch) hitting a wing (the smallest man on the pitch). Those hits are super dirty and props love it when it happens
I was a Tight head...nothing better than finding a winger carrying the ball in the middle of the pitch right in front of you...It's not a dirty hit, just opportunistic!

This is why I loved playing rugby! Took those hits like champs boys but they were playing nice 😉
1:58 Jujis second throw was shockingly clean
broken clock being right twice a day?
A lot more to the game. Good on you for giving it a go. Rebels drink beer when they win? Mustn't drink much then aye boys
Moroni Williams fuck i’d say 😂😂😂
Ahahahahahhaa
this is childs play compared with test rugby training sessions :) lol - granted its just for light entertainment purposes so fair play to the guys for giving it a go - good sports the lots of em!
They probably also drink when they lose. Let's get real. There's not much else to do in Melbourne after a rough game like rugby that's worth doing.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like how he shows genuine interest and respect towards whatever he is doing, and whoever he is with
So many videos lately, good shit
lots more to come BOYO!
Can’t wait for them to upload the version with Tim edited out on Just Jujuimufu
@@123abcd8 Who the fuck is Tim?
When he let that semi truck hit him, I didn't think he'd survive lol
Tom's a natural, going real hard into the tackle.
Hahaha the little moustache man is a trooper, my dude 👏🏽👏🏽
Please go golfing with Eric Bugenhagen 😂
oh that'd be hilarious
Loooool that's a great idea. I can already imagine the crazy outfit Eric is gonna come in
Hell yeah! make it happen!
And bring magnus

I feel bad saying I came here to see Juji get smashed but then again I kinda dont feel bad at all.
Twas funny to watch lol
Dude it hurt my back watching tom get hit.
Twas verily.
Twas, twasn't it?
Juji actually looks quite a lot like a great US Rugby player: Todd Clever
Ha, true! Great player. Big ups to you from NZ.
Eh, Todd’s more wiry but I can see the comparison.
Too early to have any great US rugby players. Give it time with Sevens as an Olympic sport and the football talent will trickle into Rugby.
@@Derploop yeah watching from NZ it all looks pretty exciting. We get little bits of news on the game development in the US. That 7's programme looks sharp all rite. You guys have so much talent over there that if we do get any serious conversion from your traditional sports, it's going to be all on.
Juji getting hit ws pretty entertaining. Tom getting smashed, combined with the group response of shock and laughter was great! Way to take a hit lmao
ive been playing rugby for about 4 years now, and watching this just brings such a smile to watch people try it and get a laugh out of it!!
11:01 "He's made of something!" XD
Gosh, please make a series out of this. juji on rugby drills is the best!
Wow Melbourne with clear skies and weather during winter. Now i've seen everything! Juji out here brightening Melbourne's bipolar weather
it's spring you mong

You could see with the tackles, they were taking it soft.
But the technique and aim was on point. At 12:45, you see that he's aiming behind. Really, you choose your moment, aim slightly in front to lead the collision, and end up starting your tackle at center mass then as the initial impact dissipates, pulling them down to your side. If you take it late, you're trying to pull them down with your elbow, which is way off your center of gravity and you end up putting all the force into your forearm and fingers; not nearly as strong as your chest and shoulders.
Respect from the UK for trying out rugby 🏉
Jingo James Lewis if only the uk teams were good
Would EPIC to see an NFL player join Rugby or NRL 1st grade .
Like how Hayne and Holmes did !
As a kid In New Zealand passing a rugby ball amongst friends and kicking the ball around is 2nd nature, tackling is taught as part of the fundamentals of the sport. There's a position on the field for any body no matter what size, height, weight or shape you are in so long as you have the heart of a lion.
Just caught up on the last vid and this comes out seconds later... AMEN
They should shoulder charge Juji
Now imagine being hit by an All Black lol
Or any other Olympic level squad. NZ aren't the only ones with good defense.
Wet Soap McJagger ...when
Worse ..imagine a south african😂
@@damonarchary1582 na, weak. More like any big islander
@@Billabongbabalog There is so much wrong with your comment. To start, rugby isn't in the Olympics.
Who would of thought, Toms a better tackler than Juji. The more you know I guess
i played tackle things before
Ye it happens bro
I’m a tiny kid and I play the girl thrown up on the line outs to catch the ball and my friend one of the best tacklers on the team small but strong she’s tiny compared to the massive guys she’s got to tackle but it happens she’s the strongest tackler on our team
I love rugby. They probably should of sorted you out a gum shield before they started tackling you! Lol
Bro a gum shield. Have you ever played rugby before you would get mocked mate.
@@Tiopira238 I'm assuming you're saying you never wore one when you played? That's upto you 'mate' but you would be silly not to wear one just because you were peered pressured into not wearing one by your so called teammates.
I've seen players shatter teeth and have teeth come through their lips in games
@@beastiebear7231 I think he might be confused by the term you were using. We call them a mouthguard here.
Darkseid 84 ah yes I forgot the english don’t care about their teeth
@@BleedTheRic that's the thing I'm from the UK and most teams/refs wont let you play if you don't have a guard in! Is a super cheap piece of safety gear, why wouldn't you wear one?!?
Hes either a lemming and would rather potential get hurt then get the mick taken out of him by his 'friends' or is just trying to play hard man for daft reasons. Either way a proper coach would make him and his team do it.
This cracked me up. I loved the willingness to give everything a try. Hilarious, genuinely.
“We have beers after every win”. They mustn’t drink much because I know they don’t win much 🤣
Dont be sad man lol, they were on a good win streak and then collapsed on the final games last super rugby season
They have beers after losses, with the winning team. Its the rugby way.
😂😂😂😂
yep haha rebels are so bad
Well at least not as bad as the Australian team this RWC... To think those guys made the final last time is unbelievable.
Tom flew to New Zealand, after the tackle... thought he was in Australia 😂😂 that was a hit!!
Good shit Tom!
My favourite video yet!
Aussie aussie aussie! 🇦🇺
Juji is the man for this. Takes a cool dude to just let people tackle him and smile it off.
Iv been playing rugby in Wisconsin for years now. Amazing sport and loved watching you guys do this video. really connected with this one! :)
Juji & Tom.

Didn't think I'd ever see Freddie Mercury get Rugby-tackled, but here we are.
"The faster you run you won't feel it"

It’s true tho lol the more realistic you make the less you’ll feel it
I'm still confused how juji wasn't the buffest guy there and there wasnt even a profestional strongman in sight

George Kallivrousis Should ser the South Africans and Kiwi players
Caleb Devenish Aussie are usually one of the smaller players to be fair their size comes from pacific islanders in their team (I’m not Pacific Islander) I’m a white kiwi so I ain’t being biased lol
Bra come to NZ for rugby, us maoris, islanders and palangi will teach you the way of the force.
Lomu, Meads and McCaw are some to watch tape of. Lomu being the most fearsome of the bunch. Im pretty sure McCaw got Man Of The Match after playing only 4 minutes of a test.

Difference between form and function. Body building is mostly to look good and concentrate on upper body build. Athletes who require strength and endurance have the function, not just aesthetics.
The awesome thing about Juji is that he's got both form and function. You don't see 240 lb guys doing 100 backflips in 3 hours too often.
So I played rugby for two years. The first practice... a kid got their collarbone broken. DURING PRACTICE WITH TEAMMATES. Rugby is a sport for true beasts.
big respect to juji & Tom: seen a few of their vids and they are truly stttrong, brave, flexible, versatile athletes.
