Things change Jo - Mark Adamo (Ellen Pearson)

Ellen Pearson performs the aria "Things Change Jo" from Mark Adamo's Little Women, accompanied by Sharon Cheng.
At this point in the opera, Meg has just told her sister Jo that she has agreed to marry John (Laurie's tutor). Jo has reacted badly, saying "You don't love me". This aria is Meg's attempt to explain to Jo that "Things Change", that they can't be children forever.
