There is a Consumer Protection Act 2075 Chapter 4, Article 16 in Nepal too which states "If any of the following activities is conducted, an unfair trade and business activity shall be deemed to have been taken place selling or providing the goods or services by lying, concealing, hiding or misleading the actual quality, quantity, price, measurement, format or composition, etc. of such goods or services"
Hopefully, the concerned parties will look into this.

I bought sleek earbuds from astawolf from daraz and gave them an average review based on the product. The company called me and told me to change my review. This is when i knew that they were not a genuine startup

Guys are you seriously thanking her? First of all people are thinking that this video is sponsored, let me assure that it is not, Asta Wolf even before launching sent their products to various tech influencers asking for their honest review, A review is where we get to know good things as well as the bad things about the product, did she say a single thing good about the product? She never even addressed their other products like the ear buds, which after using myself I can say are pretty darn good at their price, well that's just an example but you get the idea. Honestly this video felt like she had picked the negative points about particular products to defame the growing company, Asta Wolf even corrected the geniune flaws she pointed out. I suggest instead of just blindly believe her, research a little yourself, take opinions from customers who bought the product and there are a lot of reviews on daraz itself to get an idea, I also recommend to check out the video the official Asta Wolf channel posted in which they briefly discussed the and found solutions to the accusations this channel had put on them.
bro, the response video from asta wolf sucked HARD. There are now several pixel test comparison done between the Asta Wolf Phoenix and literally any other AMOLED smartwatch, and it has and LCD matrix which is objectively proven. Yet they will be attempting to "bring valide test certificates" from their manufacturer. Their watch clearly has a fake spo2 and yet their defense is we never advertised it so not our problem? ...really? Read the title, the video is talking about the problems with the brand, ofcourse it's going to list out the sketchy parts

Yes. I bought this astawolf phoenix few days back. After reviewing it on different websites, I thought it was a great product. Also one of the main reason for buying it was my love for Nepali brands. And when I got my hands on the watch, I was totally disappointed. The watch was nothing as close as they had written it on their websites. Felt I got totally scammed. I had bought it with my hard-earned money and love for Nepali products. But having to go through this kind of scams, now it again made me think twice before supporting Nepali brands.

I was also tempted to buy Asta Wolf Earbuds from Daraz, since there were so many promotions, and the ratings were constantly 4.8+/5, and the price also looked competitive looking at Ultima earbuds prices. Nice work Pratima! I think you should expand your channel by hiring experts and start tear down videos as well just like the channel "jerry rig everything" Would be nice to see a Nepalese Expert's opinion on the materials used inside these devices/gadgets.
Also, if possible, you can hire part- time employees randomly from your subscribers who are gadgets lovers (like me😅), send them certain products to use for a certain period of time and have them at your channel for a long-term review video.
Title could be something like- "Samsung Galaxy S22 long-term review from GB&GL (Gadget Byte & Gadget Lovers)

02:59 I also bought a studio mic stand from Daraz. When I happened to unbox it, the product was full of dust and had lots of fingerprints. It means, the product was the used one. This is how, we cannot trust online shopping in Nepal with Daraz. The product return process is so complicative, I had to compromise it. Also, I had ordered a camera lens cleaning brush but they delivered a black marker pen. LOL!!

The case of rebranding cheap Chinese products and selling them at high price as a high end has been going on since ages in Nepal. The case of fake labelling and fake marketing in online websites like Daraz is nothing new. Most of the times, the seller copy paste the description and they don't even know what it means. Unless some kind of consumer protection act is implemented seriously nothing can happen. These kind of fake marketing will continue.

As someone who has gotten ripped off before because I placed my blind faith in "Nepali" products, I really appreciate this video. Lately, there have been dime-a-dozen "nepali" brands in the market, and I'm pretty sure is all they do is buy electronics wholesale from China, probably in kilos, then print their brand name and package it as nepali made. In fact, this trend is not limited to just electronics, I also got ripped off badly when buying a nepali-braded clothing line that was being promoted aggressively in insta a while back. I get that rich kids want to remain rich, but the method should not be ripping off the naive and the unaware. It's also high time that regulatory bodies woke up and earned their salaries.

Just bought astawolf type c earphones. I would say it was the best.. seriously, I had bought OnePlus original earphones but Till now nothing beats astawolf.
There is nothing such as said in video.. Your are somewhat right but not fully right.. I've personally met owner of Asta Wolf.. He's a great person and clearly tells everything about his products.. Instead of making this video and doing negative review of someone, this channel should have directly emailed to company to meet them and talk with them once... I've personally met with both owners personally and they are very good people..
