I'm Hungarian and I'm seriously thinking about moving to Romania with my family from the UK... Romania had great economic development in the past 10 years, lower corruption rates and is more natural when it comes to laws and taxes.

Slow and limited public transport between different cities and smaller places is the main thing that needs to be solved for it to be a great tourist destination. And if you're an expat, so staying longer, the state hospitals need more work. You can go to a better private one, but the emergencies units are found only at state ones.

@@WarrenJulieTravel Levi Maximillien is confusing you a bit. He refers to general social contributions also, which are paid by both employer and employee as follows: for employee - 25% social insurance contribution and 10% health insurance contribution; for employer - 4% social insurance contribution for particular working conditions or 8% for special working conditions (no tax for normal working conditions) and 2.25% labour insurance contribution. The 10% flat tax will be calculated after the subtraction of general social contributions. Overall, a Romanian employee receives no less then 58,46 % of his monthly gross salary. But this is the general rule. There are some other monthly deductions that you can get ... I find your vlogs very interesting and entertaining and I wish you all the best!

around 5 millions romanians are right now outside Romania (working abroad in European Union, especially in Western Europe)
many countries allow romanians to establish there and work there , so it is normal for Romania to allow other citizens (foreigners) to establish here if they like to live here.
    Romanians are not hypocrites.
33 years ago Romania was like North Korea today ! , closed society to the entire world , the communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu (totalitarian communist government) kept this country locked like in jail...now in 2022 is really an open society, a democracy , and its democratic values

Tbh most villages in transilvania are kinda behind now due to the old habsburg common houses, go to the rest of the country and now you will see only brand new houses. 30 years ago not so much, the houses were made from clay and in transilvania they were considered kinda sturdy places . Now , I look at those places and from the outside they look poor. The people aren't but the architecture isn't helping. In the rest of the land people had to build new houses from scratch with money from working abroad in western europe or money by small business owners here or by money from people that work in the government. Where I live in vrancea county, the whole county looks better than western Europe Now, every house new opulent sturdy, no plywood and stylish. And besides a house people usually have an apartment as well. And most people also don't have a lot of loans from banks. From here on Now, the only way is up if we manage to keep a stable gov that hopefully will build some highways all over the country as well. But besides the lack of highways, most public infrastructure is pretty decent at least compared to hungary and rome where if been recently. So just a few more tweaks and some more small businesses hoping for a brighter future.

I'm from the top 5 coldest areas in winter of Romania and we used to get -20C or worse temperatures even for three weeks every cold season (not during midday though). But it got to progressively fewer days like that and the last time it was colder than 20C was in 2018, for a couple of days. The snow days are fewer and fewer too, I don't think they add up to more than a month (or maybe a month and 1/2 with superficial snow cover). You can expect a lot of below freezing temperatures during the day in January and February, many below -10C. In the lower areas, in the plains, where Bucharest is, for example, seemingly it doesn't get that cold but the winds are stronger and it can feel colder and more uncomfortable because of that.

God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and immoral persons and sorcerers & idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent.

It's been more and more of a suburb. But there are true villages too with more than 5000 people, true in the sense that most locals are in agriculture and the facilities are not quite up to modern standards.
