A mix of atmospheric and pulsating modern electronic dance music. Im inspired by the first trance music I heard in warehouses and forest raves in the early and mid nineties. Before the genres huge mainstream appeal was realised and the subsequent dumbing down of trance that followed, characterized by the pop chart, formalised preset trance we got tormented with during the entire millennium so far.
There is still good music with the right vibes out there though:
Some is labeled as progressive house, but has a very atmospheric soundscape that gives me old fashioned trance tinglings all over.
A few are actually labeled as trance without being cheesy.
Some is labeled as techno but has definitve trance elements in them to spice things up.
I try to combine my musical discoveries into something that as closely as possible resembles that original awe inspiring and pure trancy vibe I remember from the days of old.
