You get the helmet from Gosaku's armor if you upgrade it enough. It's one of the best looking helmets in my opinion, especially mixed with one of the armors you get from Iki Island.
Gosaku's armour was my favourite combat armour in the game. I just really like the aesthetic of it, especially when you fully upgrade it. As a previous comment says, you get a super cool helmet when you fully upgrade it :)
Glad you found the ronin duels, one of the best parts of the game. Upgrade gosakus armor to look fully badass and get the helmet. Add the black armor dye for it - sick af. I have a feeling you will LOVE Iki island. Take your time to get there though. Enjoying the story so far!
I had no idea that they added the Iki island cats into other parts of the map. I did a double take because I was sure you hadn't started the dlc yet.😂 (Spoiler: ~you *can* pet those cats in certain places~)
You have definitely got the hang of melee, but there is one thing you need to do. If you haven't got or if you have, you need to master the perfect dodge. In my opinion it's one of the best skills in the game, especially when it comes to duels. When your opponent comes at you with an unblockable attack and you get the timing right it leaves them open to a dangerous counter attack which they can't parry or block. You just have to be patient and wait for them to commit to an attack before you dodge. Also in duels I never used any abilities like Heavenly Strike or Dance of Wrath as I consider that as an unfair advantage and makes these duels too easy to win, and therefore boring. I just rely on perfect parries and dodges because if you get the timing on both those skills you can hit them with lethal counterattacks which they cannot block, as well as getting your resolve back when you achieve those parries and dodges. But that's how I play. If you want to use those abilities go ahead and enjoy, but I was thinking about if you want to challenge yourself by not using these abilities and saving your resolve for healing which will come in handy for the tougher encounters later on in the game.

The original game didn't have the Tsushima Leopard cats. (endangered) But they added them in when they put the DLC out. Eventually.....

Are you not doing the Elden Ring DLC? Hopefully you’re recording your blind playthrough because you do those the best
