- In this video I review a Brute 5th wheel toolbox from Dan's Hitch in Elkhart, IN. I talk through my previous experience with toolboxes and then get into showing off the toolbox setup (5:30). Everyone has their own way of organizing a toolbox but I briefly share how I will have mine organized according to my needs.This Brute 5th wheel toolbox is made in the USA (Michigan) and I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

hello. do they have one that will go down the sides from front tool box to rear tool box. so you will have box storage all around the 5th wheel
Stumbled on your video and this is what I've been looking for my 2019 Ram 2500 that I tow a 5th wheel with. Can't find the box any longer and contacted Westin and they are now special order. If I order this week, probably receive mid to late October. Probably pull the trigger and place an order.
Dan's is a great place. I drive for Bennett and the guys there have been an awesome help. Didn't know about the 7pin adapter. I'll look into that as well. Thank you.

where in the world did you get that little 12v battery?
How long is your bed? Will a 6.5 bed be a problem for a fifth wheel and that tool box?
Would this tool box work with a gooseneck trailer for hotshot?
Love the tool box ! I would want both sides open for long items.
If i didn’t have the 5th wheel installed and just running the regular ball gooseneck. Could i still get that 5th wheel toolbox set up?
Daniel, do you encounter issues with trying to get into the toolbox once you have a bumper pull hooked up. I know in many cases you can’t lower the tailgate once you’re hooked up. I love everything about the toolbox but am concerned about access once I can’t fully lower the tailgate. Great video again.

My only hesitation is I have a short bed with b and w 5th wheel slider and 66 gallon tank. Ruining out of room, lol.... but I think it'd work good for me. Like that you had wall removed. Never thought of that
@@CFarmer Hey. You can talk to Ryan and he can offer you suggestions or even come up with something custom for your truck. When I get the money, I'm gonna have them help me set up custom storage around my 5th wheel so I don't have to worry about using totes, nets or anything coming out.
@@candycrawford8656 yea, Ryan set me up with a 66 gallon fuel tank, b&w companion slider, backflip bed cover and more for my short bed Silverado. Im in pretty good shape but...i like that box, lol They're very knowledgeable and my first stop for equipment.
@@CFarmer Sweet. I want to get a bed cover too and see if there is a way to midify it so I can still use the 5th wheel and have mostly everything else still covered up. Great guys there.

I bought one of these but it has 3 lids instead of the doors
If you want it done right you go to Dan’s. If your ok with second best go anywhere else.

HighMileageHelper i learned about it from Shawn’s posts before i started. I did try Dually depot for the slick plate in my first fifth wheel. They did such a shoddy job i never went back.

How much did this tool box cost? I'm looking for something similar. Is there a reason you choose this over a "side mount" Toolbox that goes over the wheel well?
I have a bed cover and I need that area free and clear. I wanted the toolbox to still clear for 5th wheels though. It's around $500 installed I think at Dan's Service Center. He has the best price on them, even beating online prices for this model.
