SNOW MONKEYS Spa Day!!

The famous Snow Monkeys of Jigokudani in Nagano prefecture, Japan, are known worldwide for taking baths in the Japanese Onsen (Hot Springs). These Japanese Macaques living in the Snow Monkey Park spend their days lazing around by the hot water, eating and cleaning themselves before returning to their homes high up in the trees and cliffs for the night. They are quite used to tourists and travellers and will not run away in the presence of humans, however it is still recommended to keep a distance to them.
