Let It Shine Movie Description:
Let It Shine is a 2012 American musical television film that premiered on Disney Channel. It features an ensemble cast of Tyler James Williams, Coco Jones, Trevor Jackson and Brandon Mychal Smith. The film follows a shy, talented rapper and musician who pens romantic hip hop verses only to stand idly by as they're delivered to the girl of his dreams, Roxie Andrews, by his best friend, in a retelling of Edmond Rostand's 1897 play Cyrano de Bergerac. The film was directed by Paul Hoen and written by Eric Daniel and Don D. Scott. The Disney Channel Original Movie premiered on June 15, 2012 in the United States and Canada, and July 20, 2012 in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

I feel like I'm in the smaller percentage of people who don't think Bling won.
From a general battle rap standpoint, you're supposed to attack your opponent with things that hit hard and most times things that are undeniably true. Bling's entire rap was not only a repeat of how lame Cyrus was, but also just him bashing how much Roxy would rather be with him
One just lacks creativity and the other is just a bold face lie
Cyrus/Truth on the other hand attacked Bling's character, his flow, his continuous lies to the 'fans' he gained, and then exposed him for what he truly was (a busboy himself essentially)
Not to mention homeboy told him to get lost in 3 different languages.
Yeah, the raps were a little corny because Disney, but from a battle rap standpoint, Truth was the obvious winner if you analyze the lyrics enough
Also just for the record, Truth had way less bars than Bling and still managed to shit on him in 16 bars. Bling had 32 bars each and still could only come up with the fact that Truth cleans and sweeps, has supportive parents, and isn't popular
