I absolutely agree with your thoughts about being able to concentrate on music more when you don't understand the lyrics (I do that myself all the time because I'm a whoLE music nerd and I know I WILL be distracted by subtitles),, but I definitely recommend watching the mv the second time with subtitles on. Because Yoongi does NOT play when he writes his lyrics, and even the "vibe" of his chord progressions hits different when you understand what he's saying. So yea. 🙃
Sorry, but songs like these are all about lyrics, it's pointless to listen to such a lyrics-heavy song for the beat and flow, cause it's basically missing the whole point of songs like these. But yeah, i commented on his video once and triggered a lot of people like him, apparently. The question is if he did indeed watch it with lyrics to understand, or just bopped his head to it without knowing what the song is about, lol.
isn't he just such an amazing rapper and producer? I love his music and how he incorporates different things. Also, Suga is 5'9 so he's not tiny but yeah I guess it can be surprising to hear that voice from his soft features. But that is his voice 100%. he definitely changes it a lot when he raps. But when he just talks, his voice is naturally low and deep.
Alright so this song is actually longer, I think it's one more minute long or so, but because this is a comeback trailer they only gave us the full version when the album came out :) And his voice is really like that, we don't have Interlude: Shadow live yet but there are manyyyy others you could check out. He plays a lot with his voice too
In this song and the extended version, each switch up reflects a different perspective of his self. The last part is supposed to be particularly jarring as it's Suga's shadow (according to Jungian psychology) talking to himself - therefore the extreme switch up and chaotic/distorted vocals.
Lol okay so it's confusing but BTS members release solo songs under the name of BTS! FORGET EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT WESTERN BOYBANDS!! BTS as a group move DIFFERENT. BTS albums will have songs sung by all 7 & solo songs & songs in units of 2, 3, 4 members. The solo and unit songs will be considered BTS songs even tho they are technicallly not sung by all 7. THEN apart from BTS all the members release solo stuff OUTSIDE of BTS which they release for free on their soundcloud. All the rappers mixtapes or vocal-lines solo songs outside of BTS albums are given to us for free with free dropbox links. It's cuz its basically them spreading their artistic wings without officially using the BTS name. Suga's Daechwita for example was from his free mixtape. But get this: even if the songs are given for free Army STILL buy them😂 All the boys have broken TONS of records on iTunes with their free mixtapes. Suga and RM's mixtapes were #1 in over 90 countries!! FREE albums in Korean did that! It's insane. But yeah We basically pay for songs we can get for free cuz we love the songs and want to support them hahah
Thank you! Yes, he really has an interesting and deep voice, and is really good at switching between different tones and styles. There aren't any live versions of this song, but you can get the same feeling from other live performances. And his voice is also very deep in his song "first love" - I'd love to see a reaction to that song~
I was patiently waiting for this😂 This is on the most recent BTS album Map of the Soul : 7. Yes this is also produced by Suga. Musically Suga is my favorite member, he’s so talented. Sadly there’s no live for this song yet cuz their tour is postponed. People won’t except a voice like that to come out of Suga but he does have a really deep voice. He can make is voice lower and higher. I would say he has a wide vocal range. Here are some suggestions: - Serendipity full length (Jimin, no mv) - My time (Jungkook, no mv) - Respect (Suga, Rm, no mv) (prod. Suga) - Seoul (Rm) - Moonchild (Rm) (prod. Rm) - Day dream (J-hope) (prod. J-hope) - Airplane (J-hope) (prod. J-hope) - A brand new day (V, J-hope, ft. Zara Larsson) - Lights (BTS) Some are produced by them some aren’t. Thank you😊💜

Suga aka Agust D 👑 is the main reason that I became ARMY, since the interpretive power of his songs caught me, what I mean he puts soul, heart and life to his musical work (producing and writing) apart is super chameleonic, he varies with a lot ease and always innovates in the way of rapping and in his musical structure, we can find works that are close to the alternative to rock metal, I would say that is why I love him because I have a fierce and rebellious personality 🤘🖤 Lately I have to admit that I prefer Suga's individual work than BTS currently, since I don't really like the flower boy style. React yo *AGUST D - GIVE IT TO ME MV*
One of the things I really like about Shadow is its place in the album. Listen to the song before it and the song after it. It is a great part of the story they are telling with the album. (Dionysus is before and Black Swan is after) Here is a live performance of Dionysus from last year (and it is like my 3rd or 4th favorite performance but it is by itself without other songs) ruclips.net/video/1FawvHgWRRg/видео.html -- here's the second favorite and Dionysus starts at 3:00. ruclips.net/video/lFMXk0L4kG8/видео.html -and when you have a lot of time here is the EPIC performance. ruclips.net/video/b9cG4DzpL_c/видео.html Dionysus itself starts at 31:00 For Suga - his voice is that deep. and Just to know - His name is Min Yoongi (or Yoongi). It’s so nice to hear another music nerd talk about the composition of this song. I can’t stop listening to and analyzing it since it came out. I think it’s a masterpiece.
This is what Yoongi said about working on this song: "It's the intro from O!RUL8,2 [this is from an older BTS album]. I used the intruments and resources to resample and compose it. I used many reverse techniques to compose the song(...) It has a twist and I think it is an especially unique song. I enjoyed your reaction, just wanted to say that even though Suga is in a kpop group, he iiiiisss a rapper. Yep, if you hear him speak, his voice is low. As a rapper, he is pretty versatile with his flows and voice. It’s whatever he feels in expressing certain lines or points in the song. If you listen to Outro: Tear, his voice changes in his verses. Here’s a lyric video: ruclips.net/video/A6serI_qL0Y/видео.html
I really enjoy your reaction. please listen to more BTS songs and short movies. This song is an intro for their album. Every time before they release their albums, one member sings the intro for album. this time Suga sing the intro of the Map of the soul. sorry for my bad English.

Wow thanks for the input! I never noticed the shadows running out of the aspect ratio...and I watched it so many times. Also yes, it's really shocking to hear such a deep voice come out of Suga lol, but it's real.
Wanna hear something crazier? React to BTS Jimin's song LIE! It's on BTS' album WINGS. The songs changes from MAJOR TO MINOR and back again! SUCH a unique song!
Thank u Lewis for ur reaction,Suaga is such an amazing artist &I love his deep voice tone it sounds so good & he can really play with his voice please do check out Suga's first Mixtape songs #Agust D titled Agust D #The Last #First Love #So far away... Also #Seesaw
Yeah that's our Genius Yoongi and I love him so much 💜. He has deep voice in general you should check out The Last by Agust D ita another masterpiece!!
Suga has always had deep, low voice (though his figure is small), and it gets lower/deeper these past year, compare to when he's just debuted with bts. he also has an old soul, maybe thats where it came from (just like i am). but thats my only opinion.
The thing with lyrics is, yes it's difficult to concentrate on them while trying to concentrate on the music. But you will get the music and stylistic choices way better if you read the lyrics after and see were both work together. Nothing is coincidence with bts. Mv, vocal and music arrangement always are intentional and are oriented around the lyrics. Thanks for your reaction💜💜 really like your eye for details
Thanks for reaction:) Shadow it’s very important song... SUGA My Best Rapper, Songwriter and Producer.. This song..Yoon Gi Sing too:) Lyrics, emotions..very real and honesty... Messages, theories...words, music, compose...MV...Amazing
He has a deep voice. Here you have a link to when he went live for almost 2 hours talking about the mixtape D2: www.vlive.tv/video/193808?channelCode=FE619 Then you can hear his voice and get to know more about his process making the mixtape.
Maybe you can do a review to agust d's first mixtape (agust d) someday if you haven't heard it yet! Suga is very talented producer, rapper and lyricist. Can't wait for your reaction to his self produced songs (seesaw, so far away, first love, dead leaves, ddaeng, wine, tomorrow.......he produces most of bts songs and also for other artists so the list are gonna be so long lmao
I recommend re-watching with the lyrics on, Suga and RM don't mess around when it comes to lyrics, deep diving into their mixtapes also would be awesome.
The song is so cool i loved it this song absolutely on my playlist but the lyrics of this song is deep. I just want you to know its worth reading it cause you will get the whole idea of the song 10/10
you should definitely listen to suga's solo song 'first love'! its about his relationship with the piano since he was young. really recommend paying attention to the lyrics in that one tho.
for every album there is always a comeback trailer (intro), and outro and/or interlude always performed by only one member:-) for example for love yourself tear the intro was done by taehyung, for love yourself her jimin and for wings it was hobi !
I find it interesting how in the beginning, the autotune does not seem to be in your face. But as the song progresses, and the hands shove him down onto the stage, it becomes extremely clear. The voice becomes completely chaotic in the end. A buildup indeed
Suga/Agust D/Min Yoongi is an amazing rapper, lyricist, producer and dancer. His mixtape mostly written n produced by himself consisted of lyrics that are real with deep meanings. FYI, Agust D is Suga spelled backwards and "t D" is Daegu Town where he came from and also his former band name. Here are a few of his songs from previous 2016 mixtape "Agust D" and solo songs. For MV, pls turn on CC for Eng Sub. He reminds me of joey nato lmao. Cool reaction and thoughts btw. You should react to their new song coming August 21st called Dynamite. Their music video teaser dropped today, it gives retro cool vibes lmao.
Interestingly, GFRIEND Room of Mirrors reminds me of this song so much. Not because the mirror element but the song itself. The lyrics. The melody. The FEEL. It blew me away cause I'm suga biased and a hardcore BUDDY. GFRIEND's song is not even rap or close to hiphop but HOW IS THE FEEL THE SAME?! Also in key and tempo change, YOU NEED TO REACT TO TXT ETERNALLY.
Oh and you should react to the other members solo tracks! (They are both on BTS albums or from their own mixtapes or free releases on Soundcloud). React to BTS - MY TIME &; EUPHORIA (by Jungkook) BTS - SINGULARITY &; Sweet Night (by V) BTS - SERENDIPITY &; LIE ( by Jimin) BTS - PERSONA &; FOREVER RAIN (by RM. Plus he has 2 whole mixtapes) BTS - EGO &; AIRPLANE (by Jhope) BTS - SEESAW (another solo song by Suga on a BTS album) BTS - EPIPHANY &; MOON (by Jin) Also the 4 vocallists have unit songs. THE TRUTH UNTOLD and ZERO O CLOCK are some of my faves. I think you'd love ZERO O CLOCK. These are some of my faves but they all have many more solo songs or whole mixtapes!
Suga's live vocals are even better than the studio ones I assure you 😂 on stage he doesn't look small at all I enjoyed your reaction a lot! I can see that you're actually interested in the content you're reviewing and I like watching reactions like these since that way I get more insight about different aspects of each track/video. I appreciate the comments regarding composition/production because it's not something I'm very educated in, yet I find it really interesting. One thing I want to say is that it'd be cool if you react to the lyrics as well because, when it comes to BTS, I'd say it's the stellar part since lyrics are 90% written by them. Overall they are really expressive and address lots of interesting topics like mental health, social oppression, the meaning in being an artist, etc. But obviously if you want to keep focusing just in the music that's fine as well! You do you. Also, BTS has lots of solo songs among their discography, as well as "rapline" songs (featuring just the 3 rappers) and "vocaline" songs (featuring just the 4 vocalists). That's enjoyable because this way each member of the band is able to express their individuality as well. However they're all presented as "BTS" songs, so that's why it can be confusing hehe If you like these kind of "playings" between instrumental/beats I'd recommend their solos from their album WINGS (seven in total). Also Singularity by V (one of the vocalists), Outro:Tear by the rapline, Black Swan (the dance company performance video, that instrumental in that version it's beautiful), Spring Day (this one is my personal favorite, hits you in the feels) and Dionysus. Their last album Map of the Soul 7 (that features this song) is really good as well. Anyways, sorry for the long ass comment (I don't think you will read this but yeah). I hope you have a wonderful day 💜💜💜
I know you are coming from a more professional angle, and production background, but one thing you will find with BTS, there is so much symbolism and meaning in all they do- to the point, there are channels dedicated to explaining their videos. BTS is so much more than just songs, dancing and videos, you can’t even imagine. There is a storyline that runs through everything they do, that stretches back to their beginning, 7 years ago. But most of all, they are very humble, genuine guys, full of principals and integrity...💜💜💜
That's Suga's real voice and it's normally that deep. I love your reaction and have you reacted to Agust D's Agust D? It's 🔥. There's also Seesaw which is one of my top favs.
'big hit, that's what they called me in high school' oh do you have shoes to fill :D you should revisit dreamcatcher one day to switch it up from all the kpop you've been reviewing since they don't sound anything like anything in kpop. well ok, scream is maybe the exception because they mixed in edm but really all their songs are very different. put 'deja vu' on the radar in case you feel like something different once day :)
Hello new subscriber from Australia here. I liked how you talked about the music after watching the MV. You are in for a treat if you react to Shadow explained by a Korean and DAECHWITA explained by a Korean, both on the DKDKTV Channel. The explanation of DAECHWITA unpacks so much about that song including the meaning of the word HYUNTA which is pretty eye-brow raising.
Hi lewis ,if you like suga's kind of stuff, react to his solo from his old album agust d agust d, give it to me or an album it self. Or react to BTS rap line live : outro tear, ddaeng, cypher medley or ugh ( from 7 map of the soul album )
BTS' lyrics are always crafted like jewels, I really recommend at least reading the translation in the end, it will make your whole understanding of the song change. This one specifically is about the darker part of fame
You should react to the song "Eternally" by TXT. It's also similar to Shadow in that it has crazy key and tone changes. I think you would enjoy it a lot. It's the best k-pop song of 2020 IMO so far.
If you listen to suga speak, you will hear that his voice is deep, LOL 😆, I enjoy your reaction, keep up the good work
I absolutely agree with your thoughts about being able to concentrate on music more when you don't understand the lyrics (I do that myself all the time because I'm a whoLE music nerd and I know I WILL be distracted by subtitles),, but I definitely recommend watching the mv the second time with subtitles on.
Music is never pointless. You would never reed those lirics without the song, the composition, the production... Or they wouldn't hit you the same way
isn't he just such an amazing rapper and producer? I love his music and how he incorporates different things. Also, Suga is 5'9 so he's not tiny but yeah I guess it can be surprising to hear that voice from his soft features. But that is his voice 100%. he definitely changes it a lot when he raps. I don’t know if anyone answered you but that’s Sugas real voice. He’s pretty well known for his voice and has done a series of radio only live video's
Alright so this song is actually longer, I think it's one more minute long or so, but because this is a comeback trailer they only gave us the full version when the album came out :)
And his voice is really like that, we don't have Interlude: Shadow live yet but there are manyyyy others you could check out. He plays a lot with his voice too
Agree
BTS is the only group that includes in their albums solo songs. every member has 1 solo song or a unit song per album

Au natural! That’s his voice. Very deep and soulful voice.
Suga's work always gets me so hyped. He's really creative and his artistic expression goes very deep into human emotions. He's a boss.
This is my no.1 in all of the tracks in Map of the Soul 7
There are at least a couple of news press where Yoongi spoke to journalists ("journalists") and his speaking voice is about that low.
Thank you!
Yes, he really has an interesting and deep voice, and is really good at switching between different tones and styles. There aren't any live versions of this song, but you can get the same feeling from other live performances. That's is his real voice. Among the BTS members, aside from V Suga has the a deep voice too. You can hear it during interviews.
It’s so nice to hear another music nerd talk about the composition of this song. I can’t stop listening to and analyzing it since it came out. I think it’s a masterpiece.
I’d suggest pied piper , my time , serendipity , singularity , moon by BTS
This is what Yoongi said about working on this song: "It's the intro from O!RUL8,2 [this is from an older BTS album]. I used the intruments and resources to resample and compose it. Wow! I wasn’t expecting this. Yayyyy 💜
Talking about jazz u should check singularity, stigma and 13430
Love your reaction! I'm on a Suga song binge. 💜

Now you have the live performance version 🔥🔥🔥
The fact that this song was re-sampled from their early day's album shows their talent .
Thank you for music insights, love it soo much
Love this song!!
I really enjoy your reaction. please listen to more BTS songs and short movies. This song is an intro for their album. Every time before they release their albums, one member sings the intro for album. this time Suga sing the intro of the Map of the soul. sorry for my bad English.
Actually it's intro:persona, interlude:shadow and outro:ego
Shadow it's an interlude, so it's in the middle 😊😊
@@pornessian_parrapio4275 Your right. Thanks for your good information

Wanna hear something crazier? React to BTS Jimin's song LIE! It's on BTS' album WINGS. The songs changes from MAJOR TO MINOR and back again! SUCH a unique song!
Luv this song a lot
U need definetly watch Outro: Tear LIVE, their voice is REAAAAL

Thank you Lewis. I can't wait to see next..🙌💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Yeah that's our Genius Yoongi and I love him so much 💜. He has deep voice in general you should check out The Last by Agust D ita another masterpiece!!
Agree.
Suga has always had deep, low voice (though his figure is small), and it gets lower/deeper these past year, compare to when he's just debuted with bts. he also has an old soul, maybe thats where it came from (just like i am). but thats my only opinion.
También dije OMG después de ver semejante MV 👍🔥👍
The thing with lyrics is, yes it's difficult to concentrate on them while trying to concentrate on the music. But you will get the music and stylistic choices way better if you read the lyrics after and see were both work together. Nothing is coincidence with bts. Mv, vocal and music arrangement always are intentional and are oriented around the lyrics.
Thanks for your reaction💜💜 really like your eye for details
I just love how he said that Suga has "such a tiny frame" :3
Thanks for reaction:)
Shadow it’s very important song...
SUGA My Best Rapper, Songwriter and Producer..
This song..Yoon Gi Sing too:)
Lyrics, emotions..very real and honesty...
Messages, theories...words, music, compose...MV...Amazing
check out some of their live performances too
Imagine suga heard he said he have a tiny frame. INFIRES.
Now you need to listen to 'Outro: Tear ' (with lyrics)
He is the only one rapping but it's like every verse of song sounds different 💜
He has a deep voice.
Here you have a link to when he went live for almost 2 hours talking about the mixtape D2:
www.vlive.tv/video/193808?channelCode=FE619
Then you can hear his voice and get to know more about his process making the mixtape.
Yes please do. I will wait for you reaction .
You should watch this with lyrics.
with CC on.
The song'd be totally different.
Agree.
Thank you!

Suga is also producer in bts
make more bts reactions i enjoy your reaction and explanation.
React to BTS - MY TIME &; EUPHORIA (by Jungkook)
BTS - SINGULARITY &; Sweet Night (by V)
BTS - SERENDIPITY &; LIE ( by Jimin)
BTS - PERSONA &; FOREVER RAIN (by RM. Plus he has 2 whole mixtapes)
BTS - EGO &; AIRPLANE (by Jhope)
BTS - SEESAW (another solo song by Suga on a BTS album)
BTS - EPIPHANY &; MOON (by Jin)
Also the 4 vocallists have unit songs. THE TRUTH UNTOLD and ZERO O CLOCK are some of my faves. I think you'd love ZERO O CLOCK.
These are some of my faves but they all have many more solo songs or whole mixtapes!
You should react to TXT - Eternally, I think with this song you will also be quite surprised
Suga's live vocals are even better than the studio ones I assure you 😂 on stage he doesn't look small at all
I enjoyed your reaction a lot!
However they're all presented as "BTS" songs, so that's why it can be confusing hehe
If you like these kind of "playings" between instrumental/beats I'd recommend their solos from their album WINGS (seven in total).
It's 🔥. There's also Seesaw which is one of my top favs.
i’d suggest lie by jimin. he’s one of bts members too
Also suga's voice is naturally deep despite him being "short" lmao
Listen to his first mixtape too which was released in 2016 in the name August d
'big hit, that's what they called me in high school' oh do you have shoes to fill :D
you should revisit dreamcatcher one day to switch it up from all the kpop you've been reviewing since they don't sound anything like anything in kpop. well ok, scream is maybe the exception because they mixed in edm but really all their songs are very different. put 'deja vu' on the radar in case you feel like something different once day :)
💜
Reaction to dimash please. The best singer
Hi lewis ,if you like suga's kind of stuff, react to his solo from his old album agust d agust d, give it to me or an album it self.
Or react to BTS rap line live : outro tear, ddaeng, cypher medley or ugh ( from 7 map of the soul album )
And This is just a trailer..😌what more if you check out the whole version
I click as fast as I can 😂
Thanks...you should take a listen to his "kuul fm" audio stream on youtube...he has a very nice deep voice....suited for late night radio dj
Next Jhope Ego
I would love to se you react to his most recent album D2 pls!
You have to react to his AGUST D! It’s lit!!!
if you want to understand, please turn on the subtitles/captions on their videos ♥️ more power!
Please react to "let go" By BTS... It's one oftheir Japanese song.. . You'll love it may be.. 💜
BTS' lyrics are always crafted like jewels, I really recommend at least reading the translation in the end, it will make your whole understanding of the song change. This one specifically is about the darker part of fame
I suggest you listen to singularity by V and his live performance
😊
💜💜🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Please react to stay gold also. It is soo good
He did!
Ohhh
*🔥✨PLEASE REACT TO B.A.P’s SKYDIVE, ONE SHOT and WAKE ME UP✨🔥*
You should react to the song "Eternally" by TXT. It's also similar to Shadow in that it has crazy key and tone changes. I think you would enjoy it a lot. It's the best k-pop song of 2020 IMO so far.
Please do a review to the albume 💜💜💜💜
Every BTS Album have intro song MV sung solo of BTS member
How about a album review for RM's MONO playlist/mixtape👀
Agust D - daechwita & Agust D - Agust D
Me as 5' 1"asian girl, and my voice is too deep to be true lol
