I love the explanation that the stator generates the heat and thats why heat blocks are more effective.

I love the refinements of each part. The goals and values are clearly shown. I wish to see or create specific performance logs of each variation

Love the deep dive. Didn't know people were trying to get XR wheels onto GT before aftermarkets were available.

I had one of those 1st XR conversions (still have it in the garage actually) paid $950 back then. My buddy is buying it from me for $100 now 😅

How do I get ahold of you to place order for the 5 inch hub for the GT ? Is there a link or website ?

Has anyone done a video showing which stators fit in which hubs? I have been wondering if other stators from Superflux or Cannoncore will fit and what the effects of that would be. Mainly because I'm interested in the 5" hubs but am also interested in building a vesc that isn't using an XR Hypercore

Future Motion stators are smaller than any other aftermarket stator. Therefore, 5 inch wheels only work with Future Motion stators.

TFL has different variations of their 5” hubs between the XR and GT platforms. Can you speak briefly as to how you have only option for both with a shim? I would be interested in the 6” for an XR I think over the TFL 5” MTE as I do more road riding and already have a 6” as well as 5” for my GTS and do agree with the differences you pointed out, but am not sure I want to try a “multi platform” hub application without understanding a little better. I understand it was designed for the GT platform so not sure, does the 1.5mm shim offset the wheel, if so, is it negligible, and again if so, why does/would TFL have separate products between the two platforms? Thank you.

That is not what I said. We make different wheels for the GT and the XR. Each board uses a unique wheel. I think you are confusing other people in the industry that have mentioned using a spacer to adapt a GT wheel to an XR. While that is possible, that is not my recommendation. Again, we make a line of wheels for the GT platform and a separate line of proprietary XR wheels. Each is different and unique. In fact, the XR wheels have a completely different side cover fin design versus the GT to easily visually differentiate them from each other. They are internally different from each other.

@@TechForumTesla Ok, thank you, I apologize for the confusion, FYI I got my information from the product listing on 1WP for the Tech-Rail 6” Hub Listing titled ‘6" BILLET WHEEL - GTS/GT/XR/PINT X/PINT’ which states “These wheels were designed to fit the GT, however with the use of a shim they can be installed on XR & Pints! All Wheel orders include a 1.5mm shim that can be used for XR & Pints. These shims are not compatible with the XR Crazy Hubs or Pint 357-T Rails“. Which caused some of my confusion thinking you only offered a single product for both. Thanks for the reply!

What do you think about putting ATF in them?

I don't recommend it because I personally haven't tried it.
