Fresh Banh Canh Noodles In 30 mins, Easy, Cheap and Delicious!

  • Bánh Canh noodles are thick, chewy and delicious. Most Asian markets carry the noodles, but it's so easy and cheap to whip up a batch, and nothing is like fresh noodles. You can change the ratio of tapioca flour to rice flour depending on if you want a more chewy texture (more tapioca flour). Some compare Banh Canh to udon noodles, but they're entirely different to me. You can use Banh Canh noodles in noodle soup or stir-fry. Enjoy.

    1 bag rice flour (400g)
    1/2 tsp salt
    4 cups hot water
    1/3 cup oil
    extra oil for Potato Ricer press
