It is completely absurd that Hasbro classes this figure as a "deluxe",figure,we are paying the deluxe price for a larger box which is crazy to me. The figure turned out pretty well, a lot better than the promo pics suggested, the figure is so much better in hand.Great head sculpt and paint apps and its Boba, you can never have too many Boba's in the collection. Great review J, man. I preordered the battered armour tython boba, not this one, which for some mad reason the battered armour one is even more expensive. (I know, “paint apps”) Boba tax is nuts!! I prefer the old jump suit under layer to his new one and was disappointed with bobas portrayal in TBOB, I think his last seriously bad ass moment was his return in mando season 2. So I went for that one. Nice one Justin!
Good review Justin. If i find him ill grab him. Im an advocate for the SHF version myself. Granted the inaccuracy of his lower robes i feel its a better look and more possible as it should be for the price. For the price overall he seems worth it. I like the helmet on him and his clever leg articulation is cool!

Picked it up yesterday and I’m really having fun with this figure. I got to look through an entire case and every single one had a bend on the antenna. Yours seems to have a little extra crook in it though. And there’s a little bit of white paint application on the front of the face that threw me off at first.
Man, I really would like to get this figure but I'm totally hesitant to pay the deluxe price for it. Chances are I won't be able to find one anyway ha ha. Thanks for the review🤘
93rd!! Coming in straggling for my bhoi's review a day late! This is now considered deluxe because the self appointed Eco saviour of our planet, "ass-broke," used so much plastic window packaging, they had to charge us more!! Excellent review Sir. Figgy looks a proper bhan-gohh. Will purchase said figurino when I am able to purchase it when said figgy appears purchaseable. Still nut deep in the creation of my sw room. Didn't consider it would leave every room/attic/shed in the house in literal tatters....
I just got my SHF Mandalorian and child and this really caught my eye. The colors are so striking and the proportion is so perfect. It looks really good and tbh I see this as being really on par with its SHF equivalent visually which I realize really says a lot! I think you just gave me the nudge to order it, thanks for the review!

I think they're hurting the line with the deluxe price point. For starters they give zero justification for it, no special paint apps or extra joints used... No it's just 'this is the price because we said so'. For me I'm scaling back my collection because of it. I used to be a buy everything collector but I am now being selective in what I buy. We have 2 deluxe Boba Fetts and the Tython one. I chose to only pre order this one and have this be my 1 BOBF figure. I see a lot of this scaling back due to price hikes.
I don't think it's going to hurt the line because it's continuing to sell. There are a lot of new collectors who are just now jumping in. For those that are cutting back, others will take their place. Thanks for checking out the review, falcongunner! -Justin

Originally it didn't come under 1000 mxn (ca. 73 USD) but lately I've seen him as cheap as 250 (ca 15 USD) mine was 210 (ca 13) amd the armourer was 130 (ca 8) but I got both I offered 100 since I wasn't panning on getting her
I love it! Oh do I want to find one!! I am not happy about that deluxe price but unfortunately we will have to deal with it. I agree it is definitely not deluxe but it’s the Boba Fett Tax. I really enjoyed your review, and now I’m hot on the trail to try to find my own!! I actually had an easier time letting him hold his rifle. Just start with fitting in the index finger and slowly fidget the rest of the grip into his hand. Certainly easier than making Mando hold his sniper rifle.
Woo hoo! I found 6 of these at my nearest Walmart back on Sunday. At the time Brickseek showed only one area store that got them in, so I lucked out finding them at my nearest store. Of the 6 figures, 4 of them had some form of typical Walmart box damage, included the dreaded box cutter slash across the top. But two of them were decent enough to warrant purchase (I bought two in case I want to display one with helmet on/off). I then promptly cancelled my preorder at Dorkside dating back to December. Thanks for the review. I actually like this figure, but I’m still baffled as to why this is a deluxe figure. Hasbro continues to get away with price gouging and I don’t know why there hasn’t been a formal market rebellion yet.
Not the box cutter slash! Classic Walmart. It's always a good feeling to cancel a pre-order as a result of finding something in the wild. The reason why there hasn't been a formal market rebellion yet is the fact that these kinds of figures are still better than a lot of their import counterparts. For $31.49 you get a more accurate figure compared to the SHF that now goes for over $100. -Justin

As for the price inelasticity, I suppose you’re right. Despite the figures I left behind with box damage, they were all gone by the end of the day per Brickseek. So people (are the scalpers still out there???) will still pay whatever for damage goods, no matter what, as long as it says “Star Wars” on the packaging. And now that’s got me thinking this “no plastic” change coming is going to be a non-event. Oh, I meant like you doing a demonstration on the process of you putting his blaster in his right hand. It's really tricky for me haha! But it's ok. I'm content to leave boba with just his pistol on display
Such an amazing figure he’s by far one of my favs. His shelf presence is powerful. But by no stretch a deluxe. Only way I would have considered this a deluxe is if they painted his knee pads and gave him his flame thrower and rocket effects. Any character that comes with a jet pack should have those effects period. I’ve got all these mandolorians and one set of jet pack thrusters…it’s frustrating. Those would have been easy to include with this basic figure. And I’ll bet money bobf tatooine boba will be deluxe as well.
He does have a powerful shelf presence for sure! I certainly wish the flame effects and maybe even the gaffi stick would've been included to warrant that deluxe price. Thanks for watching, HankTheTank! -Justin
So recently I got the Tusken fett black series and its making me addicted to wanting to buy more black series 😂 Im wondering should I buy this Boba or should I wait if they make a actual BOBF figure? I’m also thinking of getting a Bane with it, you can probably tell why lol
I’m not going out of my way to pick this guy up. I just got the return of the Jedi deluxe boba fett as a Christmas present and am quite happy leaving it ate that. That being said, if I see it in store I will likely pick it up because of the shopping experience. But if the money is going anywhere, it’s going to those teased Andrew and Tobey Spider-Man figures hasbro has teased for next year.
Just got one today and the helmet on mine is a little warped, the top of the dome is almost flat like in the promo shots. With that inside reinforcement, im not sure if I can fix it.
Thumbs up for your great review, but middle finger for Hasbruh... They always manage to fxxk things up by giving us a nice figure but with nonsense price...

Id say if you have the money the SHF is the better figure, ill take inaccurate soft goods over that little piece of plastic any day. Plus I think the shf sculpt is better, but, I do think the black series version is definitely serviceable but not worth the money, still worth a pick up if ur collecting on a budget. The left leg looks a little odd to me. I don’t bother with deluxe figures at this point, if I see one on deep clearance I pick them up but there’s nothing deluxe about this figure in my opinion.
I heard that Hasbro claimed that the deluxe aspect apparently was the extra / better paint apps this figure has. Which makes no sense whatsoever given the fact that like a year or so ago they were selling carbonized versions of characters like mando that had a ton of extra paint apps yet no "deluxe tax". Hasbro makes realllllly strange and questionable decisions sometimes...
Thats really annoying how Hasbro put him in a bigger box to call him deluxe & charge more. Same with TVC they put Boba Fett in the box packaging & added 2 stormtrooper helmets to call it deluxe & charged Black Series prices for it. It easily could fit on a TVC carfback & bubble. There doing it in both lines to scam extra money from us. Considering the numerous times the price has already gone up recently that really dodgy tactics by Hasbro!! Cool figure though really like this green & the black makes him pop!!
Sometimes hasbro promo shots have some really bad poses and for awhile that held me back from buying the figure. Did order him not too long ago though since I caught him at a good price
A extra 5 or 6 bucks is how it starts. Next thing you know its deluxe with less accessories. Who displays Boba without the helmet? I guess that option makes it deluxe. In Hasbro eyes you are getting two figures. SMH
We will cross that bridge when it happens! For now I don't really have that much of a problem paying $5 or $6 to get a figure/character that I really want. They definitely take it too far with Boba Fett stuff though. Main reason I'm passing on the Tython (Jedi Ruins) Boba! -Justin
Hasbro likes money. A lot. So it’s deluxe because it’s hitting when inflation is raging. They average all the us crap out. Deluxe Boba helps budget for the deluxe Fennec Shand sold at lower cost and deluxe Watch Mandalorian warriors again sold at lower cost points. So think if it as cool character tax and enjoy the figure. Or pass on it because it’s Hasbro ripping you off. They aren’t selling this toys to kids so it’s just semantics. We all know it. Hasbro gives us a price and we say yep or nope. His spats are red in BOBF and tighter pants. I may just pant the top of boots and call it a day. They may suck me in if they offer a cool accessory with the eventual new one…Not sure what accessory I’d want from BoBF…I want the dang Rancor! But loud mouth detractors and Hasbro ruined a chance at that…sigh….. You are right the flame effects should have come with this Fett too. I’d love Hasbro to make whistling bird and knee missile effects. I’d buy another BOBF Fett with knee missile effects. Can he do the Boba Fett holding the gun in relaxed manner? Deluxe? There's hardly any painted details on this figure. Bo Katan has the amount of accessories and more paint for a standard release. I love Boba Fett, but I'm not supporting this with my wallet
no its not stiff, it doesnt go in the hand the stock blocks it and i cant figure out where the hand with the trigger is supposed to hold without it being restricted by the stock. sorry for being annoyed

They should have thrown in the flame effects from the return of the Jedi Boba and the Gaffi stick so we would have gotten more bang for our buck

Such an amazing figure he’s by far one of my favs. His shelf presence is powerful. But by no stretch a deluxe. Only way I would have considered this a deluxe is if they painted his knee pads and gave him his flame thrower and rocket effects. Any character that comes with a jet pack should have those effects period. I’ve got all these mandolorians and one set of jet pack thrusters…it’s frustrating. Those would have been easy to include with this basic figure. And I’ll bet money bobf tatooine boba will be deluxe as well.
He does have a powerful shelf presence for sure! I certainly wish the flame effects and maybe even the gaffi stick would've been included to warrant that deluxe price. Thanks for watching, HankTheTank! -Justin

I’m not going out of my way to pick this guy up. I just got the return of the Jedi deluxe boba fett as a Christmas present and am quite happy leaving it ate that. That being said, if I see it in store I will likely pick it up because of the shopping experience. But if the money is going anywhere, it’s going to those teased Andrew and Tobey Spider-Man figures hasbro has teased for next year.

Just got one today and the helmet on mine is a little warped, the top of the dome is almost flat like in the promo shots. With that inside reinforcement, im not sure if I can fix it.
Submerge it into some hot water and see if you can reshape it! -Justin

Id say if you have the money the SHF is the better figure, ill take inaccurate soft goods over that little piece of plastic any day. Plus I think the shf sculpt is better, but, I do think the black series version is definitely serviceable but not worth the money, still worth a pick up if ur collecting on a budget. Great review as always Justin
I'd also argue that the SHF has a cartoonish, exaggerated wide visor. Not to mention scale. But yeah the fact they're even comparable at all says a lot. Thanks for checking out the review, SKYWALKERHENDRIX. -Justin

The left leg looks a little odd to me. I don’t bother with deluxe figures at this point, if I see one on deep clearance I pick them up but there’s nothing deluxe about this figure in my opinion.
This figure has been on deep clearance multiple times. Most mainline deluxe goes on sale, honestly. -Justin

I heard that Hasbro claimed that the deluxe aspect apparently was the extra / better paint apps this figure has. Which makes no sense whatsoever given the fact that like a year or so ago they were selling carbonized versions of characters like mando that had a ton of extra paint apps yet no "deluxe tax". Hasbro makes realllllly strange and questionable decisions sometimes...

Thats really annoying how Hasbro put him in a bigger box to call him deluxe & charge more. Same with TVC they put Boba Fett in the box packaging & added 2 stormtrooper helmets to call it deluxe & charged Black Series prices for it. It easily could fit on a TVC carfback & bubble. There doing it in both lines to scam extra money from us. Considering the numerous times the price has already gone up recently that really dodgy tactics by Hasbro!! Cool figure though really like this green & the black makes him pop!!

A extra 5 or 6 bucks is how it starts. Next thing you know its deluxe with less accessories. Who displays Boba without the helmet? I guess that option makes it deluxe. In Hasbro eyes you are getting two figures. SMH

Hasbro likes money. A lot. So it’s deluxe because it’s hitting when inflation is raging. They average all the us crap out. Deluxe Boba helps budget for the deluxe Fennec Shand sold at lower cost and deluxe Watch Mandalorian warriors again sold at lower cost points. So think if it as cool character tax and enjoy the figure. Or pass on it because it’s Hasbro ripping you off. They aren’t selling this toys to kids so it’s just semantics. We all know it. Hasbro gives us a price and we say yep or nope. His spats are red in BOBF and tighter pants. I may just pant the top of boots and call it a day. They may suck me in if they offer a cool accessory with the eventual new one…Not sure what accessory I’d want from BoBF…I want the dang Rancor! But loud mouth detractors and Hasbro ruined a chance at that…sigh….. You are right the flame effects should have come with this Fett too. I’d love Hasbro to make whistling bird and knee missile effects. I’d buy another BOBF Fett with knee missile effects. Can he do the Boba Fett holding the gun in relaxed manner? Deluxe? There's hardly any painted details on this figure. Bo Katan has the amount of accessories and more paint for a standard release. I love Boba Fett, but I'm not supporting this with my wallet

Checked out brickseek on Monday and was surprised he was in stock 30 minutes away...a great tip I learned from . Found it and it definitely is a great figure! Shouldn't be a deluxe figure, but maybe Hasbro has been trying to get us all ready for all of this inflation that is hitting us from every direction,🤔. Great review!
