  • This past week had a few really warm days. Temperatures were around 90 degrees, but the heat index was over 100 degrees. Hoping the heat and humidity increased the daily gains of my giant pumpkins! The plants are fully terminated and should hopefully be pushing all energy to pumpkin growth now.

    Nice work! Looking good. Keep her growing! Plant still looks really healthy

      Plant definitely looks healthier than my plants last year. Both plants last year were covered by aphids at this time of year. Also, one plant last year had powdery mildew really bad.

    Is Charlie's the larger one? That is a great looking fruit

      Yes, the larger pumpkin is from Charlie’s 2501.

    Trying to grow a giant pumpkin with no luck. Do you give away free seeds...any help tips? 1st year beginner.
