The tape now starts with the usual FBI warnings, the Glitch logo, and the "this film has been formatted to fit your screen" message. Between each episode is the promo for the next episode as well as the accompanying merchandise promos that Glitch have on their channel. I've also designed a VHS slipcover and label art for the tape. I'd like to do the whole series as it comes out, and make tapes to give to the voice actors and Gooseworx. 8:00 You should scroll down, select "advanced display settings", pick your display from the list, click "display settings for display X", then a window opens, click "list of all modes" at the bottom and 640x480 will be there. Sorry if the names aren't exactly correct but my windows isn't in English. That's how I got a similar converter working on PAL resolutions.
If backwards time travel becomes a thing, I say we drop a whole bunch of these at a retail store in the late 80's. Then it can be lost media for a bit, and gain a following, before reviving itself. That would be awesome. Our timeline and media would go crazy.
You'll just make a loop in the timeline and it'll still go forward, it'll be an alternate version of the past once any person of our times tries to go back.

It depended on the movie most of the time. Pan and scan became less popular once DVD started to take over. It stayed around for a bit longer though which is why we had both “widescreen” and “fullscreen” DVDs.

it’s actually pretty much easier to just dub over from DVD after burning the footage onto one if your recorder is able to do it, my Emerson was capable of doing it
Fun fact: Mariokart 9 is unable to be put onto a VHS tape. This is due to the fact that Mariokart 9 does not exist. This is also because Mariokart 9 requires more processing power than available on a standard VHS tape.
fun fact: as of 2:26 AM US central time December 15, 2024, you cannot record sonic movie 3 on a VHS tape. this is because it has not been released yet.

I can confirm it does up the scare factor. I’ve done pan and scan edits of episodes 2 and 3 and I’m doing an edit of episode 4 as I type this.

I usually use stretch function in ffmpeg cuz I'm too lazy for things like that
I just use my Xbox 360 since its media player will take MP4
