A real biker would not belittle a man on the bike he rides. I always say hey brother as long as your knees are in the breeze it doesn’t matter what ya ride. Keep safe bikers!
I’ve got a 2020 iron 1200. Mine is the grey and black paint scheme. They ride amazing.. not like a traditional sporty for sure. It’s worth every penny!
You don't get your money back , It's not an investment. I just bought a 2013 Wide Glide for $7,000 , I think they sold for $14,000, with the paint option. And it was probably anther $2,000 for tax and destination , and other dealer hidden fees. Plus I got at least $1,000 in upgraded parts. The seller lost $10,000 in 7 years. As far as the Japanese bikes go, I paid $7,500 OUT THE DOOR for a new Vulcan in 2014 , and sold it for $3.200 . Cost me $4,300 for 6 years. It's all the same.
I have a 2006 Roadster that is at least a stage 1 , I don't know because I'm the 3rd owner. It might be quicker than my stock Yamaha Roadliner, and that's really saying something. I figure both bikes do 0 to 60 in 4 seconds or less. The thing about Sportsters is that they like to rev out to above 3500 rpm before shifting. Those who say they are slow must be short shifting them.A 1200 sportster is a fairly quick bike when ridden properly, build to stage 1, and go have fun!
I actually don't like the little fairing. I would take that off but everything else is really cool. I have ridden some iron sporties but I do like the chrome ones a bit better. The irons are really cool though.
The only kicker to me is it only has a 5 speed transmission. I'd kill to have a 6th gear on my 2019 Iron 1200. At 70-75 mph, I'm at about 3200-3500 RPM
Agree to disagree. It's not meant for alot of highway use, but it'd still be nice to have a cruising gear. Either way I'll be trading up in a few months to something my wife would be more comfortable on the back of
@@Silverbulletzx3 I call BS on that plenty of people running up and down the highway 70 to 80 miles an hour all day long how fast do you want to run with that thing not a sport bike and it's not meant to run a hundred miles an hour down the highway maybe instead of complaining about not having a sixth gear get out and ride it
"Is it faster than a Big Twin?" "No, not in the 1/4 mile".... Okay, so the big twins are running faster than 12.2 seconds in the 1/4 mile with a 4.2 0-60 in stock form? "You can make 100hp out of them" Dude, there's plenty of guys making 120-130hp with no forced induction all day long.

Not would a real man ever belittle a man on the bike that he chooses to

Thanks for respecting the sporty they are fast with a little work they kick ass 50 years old and love mine great video
Agreed, power to weight ratio. Love the sportsters. Wish they had a 6th gear from factory. Power wise, it can handle another gear.
Forward controls, slip ons and its gone! Only the street glide competes w/ that beast. Sick video. Thanks from Canada!
Great Video, "long live the sporty" !! Cool bikes!
Definitely the most versatile bike to grace the HD lineup. Good vid! 👍
love the sporters with the fat tires because they look like a flat track bike
Bought d 2020 billiard blue iron 1200 2weeks ago with 5 miles on it...no doubt this bike kick ass...I luv my bike..

Great video thanks! Just got a 2020 Iron 1200 in Vivid Black from Barb’s HD down in South Jersey! King of the Sporty’s!
I love my 2019 iron 1200 black with blue graphics!!!!!

I bought one in Billiard Blue. Best decision I made in years.

Fastest I’ve gone on my 1200 stage 1 is just over 120mph. Not topped out either
Fuckin Wolverine goin in on the iron1200 hell yeah
Since its rubber mounted, does that mean it doesn’t have the traditional Harley vibrations like the 48?

I test-rode an Iron 883 recently and was shocked at the ... LACK of vibration!
love your gloves going to get me a pair!!! I have a 2019 iron 1200 I love it!!!!!
Interesting conversation. Nice
By any chance did you play the bully in the movie Christine?
supervideo, learn alot on my sportster that's true insurance on my r1 is high lol
Love the Iron 1200! One question at 5’11” would I need forward controls? Thanks!
No
Do these need a catch can or external breathing system?
What ever happened with the sportster 10 second record breaking attempt? Is thrre a video on that ?
I'd kill to have forearms like that impressive bra
Any different from the 2017 1200?
Very nice, Price is right. Does it have a kicker?

Sabertooth is a badass lookin biker. Great bike.
Dude it’s like I’m watching wolverine ..by the way the bike is nice
The big guy wearing a baby blue shirt made this video look funny hahahahaha
Does that quarter fairing do anything? Or just show.
Sure it deflects at least some wind
Very little, I have a 2019 Iron 1200.
It does nothing.
Took mine off, thought it looked better.
maybe takes a tiny amount of air off your chest. pretty much for looks. on mine im going to a T-Sport fairing
Nice Job Harley, a "PRICE REDUCTION" You have to go back to the 883's to be under 10 large☆☆☆☆☆
But my local Harley dealer charges 17000 otd..
damn that guy got nanomachines
Didn't the hells angels ride sportsters?
Wolverine is cool!
RIP Sportster 1200. Replacement did not fill your shoes.
Why the fuk HD doesn't put the roadster front end on it fuks with my biscuit...
It is a little bike.
Can this bike cruise to Vegas from L.A without struggling to go 80ish the whole way?
Yes
Kaplan? Are you Polish?
Hammer performance makes a 1275 kit for Sportster
No shit
Stop talking to each other on camera and get that camera on the BIKE!!! we like watching you but like looking at the bike better, lol
Who is this dealer
I come next year in U. S. A. for vacancy and want to rent 1 bike

Got the same one about 3 weeks ago.
Great bike! No doubt about it.

I'm thinking about getting one too. I'm having a hard time choosing between this and a triumph t120. How tall are you, by the way? I'm 5'7.

@Bunnyshooter 223 I think you would get bored with the 1200. I would definitely go for the softails. Just my opinion.
