hey, i ran into a problem. first i was getting dhcp errors however the play station settings fixed that but now im getting “cant connect with a static Ip address” im using express vpn on xbox one with lan from my pc.

@@79my0q4tcv7hc I know this issue, it happens with some VPN servers, try changing to another server and try again, the best VPN I recommend for gaming is Speedify in redundant mode. It has free test account so you can see if it works for your game

xbox nordvpn user, i tried playing today as usual with ur settings but it was making my nat type strick and therefore upnp not sucessful. when i changed settings to automatic that seemed to fix it or at least it shows as moderate now, tho upnp seems to still not work
@@Kwt7mood @Strange Information OK, there would be many reasons for this when IP is ok but internet fails, first of all check allow access to devices on the local network in express general options. Then in protocol chose whether UDP or TCP, (no open VPN or others). Save the settings, then connect and try again. If you tried to do something like this before this tutorial, they might be a cause of this issue, what you need to do is to go to search bar and search for network reset in Windows 10. Reset the network and your PC will restart, then connect the VPN and Start sharing the way that I showed in tutorial but first try easy and if your console didn't connect try custom. If it didn't work again, turn sharing off, disconnect and Connect VPN again, then wait for 1 min and share again and do custom settings in your console. There shouldn't be an issue because I did share with Express for this tutorial.

Normally it doesn't make it slow, I mean if it's under 100Mb speed it's gonna be fine even with old laptop. you can get a USB to LAN adapter instead of Wi-Fi for high speed.
Hello i used the WIFI mobile hot spot it worked and now it doesnt? Also i tried doing LAN but what happens when i share the vpn adapter to the Ethernet the ethernet stops workings! When i stop sharing the ethernet works and comes back on! Any idea?

Sharing the VPN connection worked for me, and I was able to connect the PS5 via LAN. Everything connects, and I can use the VPN on the console. However, this isn't the case for my friend. We followed the exact same steps on his setup, but his console fails to connect. After a few seconds, the connection attempt fails, and we receive a message stating that an IP address could not be obtained. What are we doing wrong? What settings might be incorrect on the laptop? We've even reset the network and set everything up from scratch. The Ethernet connection is established, and the VPN connection is active, showing the VPN adapter. This connection was then shared again with Ethernet, but the PS5 still cannot obtain an IP address. Everything is set to automatic, with no static IPs assigned. Do you have any ideas?
Hi, in this case I suggest using the manual IP shown in the video, + some versions of windows are buggy for ICS, it's best to update his windows if it didn't work for him, I had this issue for a while due to an update!

Hi, if you get internet from phone, then connect Windows with LAN to Xbox, after connecting VPN (better to choose OpenVPN protocol) share it to Lan, easy method should work, if it didn't, then use IP in the video

Hi, the good thing about router per installed is that you don't need a PC or laptop to be on all the time, + you can manage which device use VPN and which don't, but in the other hand, from PC you can take control over everything and every protocol, I personally use a custom-made Ubuntu raspberry pie Device and sharing VPN to a cheap gigabit router. still, using VPN router could be better and easier. but linux, gives me all I need!

Hi, everytime you disconnect or change VPN server, or turn off, on WiFi, you have to disable Sharing, and share again, so it works, BTW I recommend Connectify hotspot application for easy sharing on laptop, you can also try reverse, connect LAN to console, sometimes Wi-Fi is bugging in windows
Not really sure what happened but the vpn network became like unidentified network and doesn’t appear in any of the network options but is still technically there just not at the same time I think I got myself in a rabbit hole 😅

Hi thanks, yes it happens depending on situation, usually disable sharing and sharing again can fix it, I also recommend using connectify hotspot with speedify VPN for the best and easiest sharing.
So I was connecting via my desktop and since it only has one ethernet port I bought an adapter with three ports. As soon as I connected both the ethernet for the ps4 and internet for the PC it kicks me off the internet.... when I take the ps4 off the adapter it comes back on. is it impossible to have both connected or is there a fix for this?

Hi, you can either buy a USB to LAN adapter, or use your phone with USB cable (if router is close) and USB tethering from phone Wi-Fi and use that only Lan for Xbox.

Hi, let me guess: you are using the latest windows 11-10 update. if yes, then delete KB5014697 update from control panel and skip this update, it is broken and you are lucky that you didn't get blue dead screen.

Hi, sometimes console can't get an IP address, and using a static one makes it faster and easier to connect without trying to find it, overall there's not much of a difference in quality and speed, if easy didn't work, use custom.

No, it's always using shared VPN from PC output, if you have a router that supports OpenVPN, you can buy services that give you OpenVPN like express and use VPN directly on router.

Hi, for sure, using Wi-Fi adds latency, you can check that by going to CMD, then test {ping x.x.x.x -t} - Put your Laptop IP instead of x to see how much the latency is between laptop wifi to the router. LAN is usually less than 1ms and close to 0 ms.

@@nirsuqa Ah ok, so first turn VPN off, Turn mobile hotspot on, then turn VPN on, and share, also it's good to do network reset (available in Windows 10 and 11 settings) if there's a specific issue that you can't find, that's fix it.
سلام داداش خسته نباشی دمت گرم. من تا ماهها بدون مشکل ویپیان با لن روی پلی 4 میفرستادم. الان هر کاری میکنم اصلا نمیشه! کارهایی که توی این ویذیو خودتم گفتی رو کردم اما connection failed میده. نکته بعدی اینه که adapter کابل لن وقتی به پلی 4 وصله توی properies مینویسه no network access در حالی که کابل اصلا مشکل نداره. چیزی رو باید تنظیم کنم؟ چیزی تنظیمش به هم خورده و خبر ندارم؟ کلی هم نت سرچیدم اما حل نمیشه لعنتی دو روزه درگیرم باهاش.

Hi, both Lightway and OpenVPN can be shared, only the adapter is different, Express VPN itself suggest using OpenVPN, but I tried Light way and that works fine too.

@@thalescustodiopro It depends, the cheapest one which is mango 2, supports OpenVPN around 10Mb/s and wireguard 40Mb/s If that's enough for you, yes, if not, you have to get higher model for faster speeds, and not every VPN support wireguard

Save the settings, then connect and try again. If you tried to do something like this before this tutorial, they might be a cause of this issue, what you need to do is to go to search bar and search for network reset in Windows 10.
Reset the network and your PC will restart, then connect the VPN and Start sharing the way that I showed in tutorial but first try easy and if your console didn't connect try custom.
If it didn't work again, turn sharing off, disconnect and Connect VPN again, then wait for 1 min and share again and do custom settings in your console.
There shouldn't be an issue because I did share with Express for this tutorial.

Sharing the VPN connection worked for me, and I was able to connect the PS5 via LAN. Everything connects, and I can use the VPN on the console. However, this isn't the case for my friend. We followed the exact same steps on his setup, but his console fails to connect. After a few seconds, the connection attempt fails, and we receive a message stating that an IP address could not be obtained. What are we doing wrong? What settings might be incorrect on the laptop? We've even reset the network and set everything up from scratch. The Ethernet connection is established, and the VPN connection is active, showing the VPN adapter. This connection was then shared again with Ethernet, but the PS5 still cannot obtain an IP address. Everything is set to automatic, with no static IPs assigned. Do you have any ideas?
Hi, in this case I suggest using the manual IP shown in the video, + some versions of windows are buggy for ICS, it's best to update his windows if it didn't work for him, I had this issue for a while due to an update!

Hi, everytime you disconnect or change VPN server, or turn off, on WiFi, you have to disable Sharing, and share again, so it works, BTW I recommend Connectify hotspot application for easy sharing on laptop, you can also try reverse, connect LAN to console, sometimes Wi-Fi is bugging in windows

So I was connecting via my desktop and since it only has one ethernet port I bought an adapter with three ports. Yes, a USB to LAN adapter also does the job done, it's 100Mb/s max though, for higher speeds, you can get a USB 3 to 1Gbps LAN adapter.

Hi, you can use your phone tethering to PC, so 1 LAN would be enough, if you don't want to bother your phone, then 2 LANs.

Hi, let me guess: you are using the latest windows 11-10 update. if yes, then delete KB5014697 update from control panel and skip this update, it is broken and you are lucky that you didn't get blue dead screen.

Hi, sometimes console can't get an IP address, and using a static one makes it faster and easier to connect without trying to find it, overall there's not much of a difference in quality and speed, if easy didn't work, use custom.

Hi, if you want to use it for 2 consoles, you need to buy a router and share it to router, if you want for 1 console and 1 LAN for router to your PC, it works this way.

Hi, for sure, using Wi-Fi adds latency, you can check that by going to CMD, then test {ping x.x.x.x -t} - Put your Laptop IP instead of x to see how much the latency is between laptop wifi to the router. LAN is usually less than 1ms and close to 0 ms.

سلام داداش خسته نباشی دمت گرم. من تا ماهها بدون مشکل ویپیان با لن روی پلی 4 میفرستادم. الان هر کاری میکنم اصلا نمیشه! کارهایی که توی این ویذیو خودتم گفتی رو کردم اما connection failed میده.
نکته بعدی اینه که adapter کابل لن وقتی به پلی 4 وصله توی properies مینویسه no network access در حالی که کابل اصلا مشکل نداره.
چیزی رو باید تنظیم کنم؟ چیزی تنظیمش به هم خورده و خبر ندارم؟ کلی هم نت سرچیدم اما حل نمیشه لعنتی دو روزه درگیرم باهاش.

ویندوز هم آپدیته کاملا
فکر کنم یکی دو هفته پیش بود که اون آپدیتهای کوچیک اینا رو نصب کردم
ویندوز ۱۱ هم هستم
اون موقع البته با نورد روی ویندوز ۷ شیر میکردم از یه لپتاپ دیگه
اما الان که با این ویندوز ۱۱ و اکسپرس شیر میکنم خیلی عجیبه واسم چرا همچین چیزی میشه
البته مشکل فقط شیر کردن ویپیان هم نیست
خود اینترنت کلا اصلا از لپتاپ به پلی ۴ وصل نمیشه حتی بدون ویپیان
امشب از اون لپتاپ ویندوز ۷ هم چک کردم، حتی اینترنت از اونم وصل نمیشه به پلی ۴
@@--NimaHN-- اگر تو ویندوز 11 مشکل هست فقط ممکنه از آپدیت باشه میشه برگشت عقب یه آپدیت، زیاد پیش میاد. اگر 7 هم نشده، آیپی دستی بزن. اگر اونم نشد، با برنامه کانکتیفای شیر کن!

البته بازم کاری که میخواستم نشد چون میخواستم رد دد بالا بیاد که بازم ارور میده
اما جیتیتی و کازینو رو آورد، سایتای فیلتر هم خود دستگاه باز کرد
مشکلش با رد دده :))😂

What's your express vpn protocol option (OpenVPN, etc...)?
Hi, both Lightway and OpenVPN can be shared, only the adapter is different, Express VPN itself suggest using OpenVPN, but I tried Light way and that works fine too.
@@DanielZH Do you think it's worth to buy a cheap gl inet router? I need to pass vpn to a console, but that need to be a consistency method one that won't let me behind when needing it.
@@thalescustodiopro It depends, the cheapest one which is mango 2, supports OpenVPN around 10Mb/s and wireguard 40Mb/s
If that's enough for you, yes, if not, you have to get higher model for faster speeds, and not every VPN support wireguard
آقا طبق مراحلی که توضیح دادین جلک رفتم ولی وقتی میخوام با کنسول به لپ تاپ وصل شم این پیغام میده : Can't obtain an IP address within the time limit
اعداد و ایپی دستی زدید؟ آخر ویدیو نشون دادم
یه روش هم هست برای وای فای با برنامه کانکتیفای
@@DanielZH والا من با هات اسپات لپ تاپ و وی پی انی که داخل سیستمم کانکشن داشت نت رو شیر کردم و با کنسول بشه وصل شدم که اون ارور میده اعداد و آی پی نمیاره که وارد کنم 🤔🤔🤔
@@mojtabakp9495 رو حالت Manual بذاری باید خودت تنظیم کنی، تو پلی ۵ روی همون اسم وای فای اپشن بزن بعد انتخاب کن. و نکته مهم اینکه سیسکو هم نمیشه شیر کرد، ترجیحا اکسپرس وی پی ان بگیر
@@DanielZH 😭😭 دمتگرم که ویدیو میسازی ولی نه زیر نویس فارسی داری نه فارسی صحبت میکنی فکر میکنم یه جای کار متوجه نشدم و اون کاری که با گوشی کردی برا اتصال وای فای بین کنسول و لپ تاپ متوجه نشدم 😭😭😭 نمیفهمم گوشی این وسط چیکاره اس الان اعدادی که اخر ویدیو گفتی زدم به نت لپ تاپ وصل میشه ولی توو تست کانکشن برای اتصال به اینترنت فیلد میده

@@mojtabakp9495 گوشی برای اینکه نت پای فای رو با کابل بزنی به لپتاپ، و از پورت لن لپ تاپ به کنسول! اینطوری میتونی وی پی ان رو با لن شیر کنی که بهتره و کم دردسر تر!
اگر اینترنت خطا میده، باید پرتوکول وی پی انت تغییر بدی به اوپن وی پی ان
