I went to Trader Joe's today and pumpkin items I got were Pumpkin-O's, pumpkin spice mini sheet cake, butternut squash mac n cheese and lasagna, and LA Colombe pumpkin spice cold brew. 🎃😋
I used to buy frozen green beans and then cook it with some water first and then when it all evaporated fully "dry" in the pan i'd use butter and a lot of garlic powder to cook for a further 2min or so + salt. These were addictive it'd probably taste better with fresh garlic but i used a lot of it. For a bigger batch i'd boil the green beans and finish them off with butter, garlic and salt. (It's easy to overdo it with salt).
TJ is dangerous. Great prices, great tasting items and great variety. Of course each trip ends up costing $100. For the garlic green beans, make a garlic oil Chinese Style. Cup of neutral oil heated in small sauce pan until almost smoking. I like avocado oil. Pour hot oil over a head of chopped garlic that you have placed in a glass or ceramic bowl. Oil will sizzle and cook the garlic. Once cool, granted contents into a mason jar and place in the fridge. I like to add xtra fresh chopped garlic into jar before it goes into the fridge. Now you have garlic oil to use whenever you need it. Just make sure the oil level is above the chopped garlic. Blanch green beans and then stir fry (high heat) in the garlic oil you made until the beans are cooked to your preferred doneness. Don't forget to add more chopped garlic when you add the blanched green beans.
Cambodian green bean style: -blanch green beans after snapping them into 2-3 bite size - sauté minced garlic in avocado oil until toasty - add beans - season with sugar, pinch of salt, Asian chicken bouillon granules (yellow container with green lid), oyster sauce, garlic powder, black pepper. I’ll add Maggie seasoning as well but depending what I’m cooking for protein, but not always add it. Just try it before adding the Maggie.
Omg I’ve been searching for TJs green mango for years since they appeared to discontinue it. Dang it I was just there today and didn’t look. It’s so good!!
Haha Benji said it’s starting to get ridiculous when he’s almost done pumpkin observing. I love TJ’s! My sister works there and she always says it’s pumpkin exploding season.
I would be in big financial trouble if we had a shop like this one in South Africa! You should try the Pumpkin Rooibos Tea. Rooibos originated in our country, it's the only tea my man drinks. I prefer good old Ceylon tea!
Wow trader js got it all! Tis the season! 🎃 I agree those hash browns are the best Tasting! I’ve tried them from a few different places, they are the best! That roobis tea looks good.
Found out Rao’s mixes there olive oil with cheap oils, but still charges $$$ Company sold to Campbells soup and cheap ingredients have already started 😩
benji! would love to see you (and the fam) do a taste test on asian foods/products at trader joes!

Hi Benji, I love Trader Joe's!
Haha Benji said it’s starting to get ridiculous when he’s almost done pumpkin observing. I love TJ’s! My sister works there and she always says it’s pumpkin exploding season.
That was fun.
There’s a lot of videos on TikTok and RUclips on how to make the green beans! They fry the beans surprisingly
I wish we had a TJs closer to us and the one we do have close-ish, is awful to get in and out of.
Raos has changed their ingredients. Read the label. Not as clean as before.
We live in tri cities and I drive 3 hours to stock up on the Pumkin butter. Soooo good raspberry jam is bomb too

What are the chances we could get a video of your mom making some of her recipes? All we need to see are the hands!
I wonder if yall have an Aldi in America?
Yes Aldi exists in America.
Found out Rao’s mixes there olive oil with cheap oils, but still charges $$$ Company sold to Campbells soup and cheap ingredients have already started 😩
Hear me out: a video of your mom baking bread, but she doesn't have to show her face :)
Shaoxing Wine, soy sauce, garlic, a little mushroom seasoning or MSG, and a little sugar makes for killer dim sum style green beans!
🎃🎃🎃
Um, from a pregnant lady who has been having mad cravings for mcd's hash browns.... thank you! 🥹
