    I usually don’t commend on videos but I feel that Byron does an excellent job in his way of presentation of each plant. Real “professor talent” here! I don’t live in the USA but if I would, I would definitely be a customer of Logees.

    Just love these tours… it really helps for ordering plants. I like the cultural mentions too so you don’t get something that might not survive if we don’t have the right situation. Please keep this up throughout the year. Thanks.

    One day I'll visit this amazing nursery. I'm British but visit family each year in beautiful Connecticut, so need to find a way to persuade my 'non-horti' cousins to take a detour on our trips east of Danbury, CT up to the Cape or whatever.
    This year, on top of the usual hardy Musa Basjoos I am growing Musa Sikkimensis 'Red Tiger', a very vigorous hardy banana, and some spikey Australian weeds called Solanum Chrysotrichum.
    Thriving on my patio waiting for a spot in the proper garden are some gigantic mutants called Zantedeschia Aethiopica 'Hercules' - a spotted one and a fully green one. In the ground are some sinister looking Sauromatum Venosum 'Indian Giant', and beautiful Tetrapanax Papyrifer 'Tyrannosaurus Rex' which are in the ground and seem very happy. The usual Alocasias and Colocasias are also enjoying our warm summer, though today they are relishing some lovely soft rain.
    I have grown some Dendroseris Litoralis from seed which are doing well, and some Sonchus Fruticosa from seeds harvested from a friend's Tenerife garden. The Dendroseris as you probably know are from the weather-beaten Juan Fernández 'Robinson Crusoe' Islands off the southern coast of Chile.
    Thank you Byron as always for this wonderful presentation. They are all very much appreciated all these miles away across the ditch in Portsmouth, Hampshire, Southern England, where we are very lucky to boast many huge-trunked Phoenix Canariensis lining our parks and gardens, protected by the Gulf Stream and the adjacent English Channel.
    I hope you're open for business again very soon and that you can catch up as far as possible on the stolen spring season.

    Some of these in the Geelong, Victoria, Australia Botanical garden entrance are magnificent. (Bottle trees): I have one in my garden which is roof height. I live in a temperate Mediterranean climate ..hoping it might flower next year. I think I just might have planted it a bit too close to the house.

      @eccremocarpusscaber5159 4 года назад

      jvega920 give it time. It needs lots of heat and humidity. Lots! Heavy feeder too, give it half strength tomato fertiliser every week. During the winter stop feeding, but it still needs good light. Do not overwater as it grows on trees in its native habitat.
