    Thanks for a great video...I especially appreciated the part numbers. Could you please show the number for the 24mm fill bolt. The previous owner rounded the head of this bolt and I sure do want to replace it. You also mentioned Ebay as a source but my search there has not been successful...Thank you very much and keep the videos coming.

    Thank you for sharing this procedure! How many miles on your GX at time of trans fluid replacement? Looking forward to watching your next video for dropping a pan and cleaning out the magnets and replacing the gasket and maybe the filter/strainer?

    Thanks for the detailed video. I am struggling mightily to find the part number for the fill plug and o-ring. Searched on Amazon, e-Bay, and the general web. Can't believe how hard this is to identify. Do you know?

      Call any toyota dealership. They can have the part for you in 2 days. Ebay also is another option.

      @@goldentrucker7921 Or is that the part for the overflow bolt?

    • @goldentrucker7921
      @goldentrucker7921  6 месяцев назад

      @sgoldste02 not sure what parts you need. You only need drain plug crush washer, and fill plug o-ring. Plus fluids. Everything is listed in the comments or in the video

      @@goldentrucker7921 I want to replace all of the gaskets. I found the transmission drain plug gasket easily. But the fill bolt (the 24mm bolt showing "WS" in this video) also has an o-ring, and I can't find that part. I'm also guessing that fill level bolt has a gasket, but I can't find that part either.

    So when you add the 3 quart still was low and you did add 1/3 quart and was good level
    Do you you recommend adding 3,2 quart and then check the stream after , appreciate your reply

    If you have a local Lexus or Toyota dealer get the parts there not eBay or Amazon. Too many counterfeit parts out there.

      Bell Lexus North Scottsdale on ebay. Certified dealer parts. Lightning fast shipping. I got to the dealer, and them only. 100% oem & great prices.

    If it slipped after drain n refill, you cannot just put that stuff back in unless you drain the same amount out again. Am I right?

    • @goldentrucker7921
      @goldentrucker7921  Год назад

      Correct. No one ever has issues off a small drain & fill. Only if they empty the entire system.

      Great video. I’m having issues with the transmission not shifting past 3rd after about 100 miles of driving on a hot day. Once it cools, it’s fine. The GX is an 04 w/218k miles and no history for service, so I’ll be holding onto the fluid like you recommended.

      @VertigoGTI you're probably low on fluid. Make sure to check level correctly on flat ground.
