I get that it's kinda necessary as it would be really limiting if he needed a climable surface for this to work, but that just adds to the strange weirdness of Natlan characters. Natlan feels like a really weird region and not the interesting weird, but strangely weird as if it doesn't really fit into the rest of the Genshin world. And I guess you can explain that with Lore, but it just feels weird and I didn't have this feeling, not even with all the stuff we got in Fontaine. Edit: Btw people, you can stop telling me the same things again. I won't be arguing with obvious strawmen like "But it's a fantasy" anymore. It's pointless, because I know the people who argue like that will be the same people that are trashing characters without any reason and it was shown that they will just move the goalpost. I feel like everyone forgets that Venti was so strong that Hoyoverse had to saturate the enemy pool with heavy class enemies that Venti's burst couldn't just drag in to be shredded; just the same as how they had to create Corrosion to deal with Zhongli's Shield.
btw you can hold her charge attack and she'll continue firing her charge attacks without any interruption, it's much easier than holding the charge attack button and then releasing it and doing again
It is really fun bringing Chasca into Raiden co-op and flying while attacking instead of having to jump when those three pillars come up. It’s awesome. Her skill lasts just long enough to completely avoid taking damage
@@binsarm9026 she can avoid most of ground enemies attacks, like maguu kenki. really fine without shield. so far, the only time i notice getting attacked while in the air is when fighting her boss material

@ She’s been working pretty good without a shield for me (I am also bad at dodging). She flies above most attacks and her resistance to interruption is really good. Ororon has been more squishy for me than Chasca tbh. In short, you should be good without a shield.

Here's why I think she's more boring despite mostly playing Neuvillette: you have even less control over anything that's going on than with Neuvillette. On Neuvillette, you can switch off for a second while your sourcewater droplets are on the field to renew your buffs or whatever. When you've entered Chasca's night soul blessing, all you do is keep the mouse button pressed and the enemies in sight of the camera. You never take your finger off the mouse because she fires on her own when she's ready, you're just getting in the way if you shoot. Her damage is pure RNG. How do you feel any fun playing a game where your only input is camera control?
@@HighLevelPlayer After all that text you just describe Neuvi playstyle again, you think you don't need to get off the gun to reset any buff for Chasca. In term of boring gameplay, if you use 360 trick for Neuvi you won't even have control of the camera.
tbh last time i had fun playing a character was back in inazuma when raiden was out , just running around and killing groups of enemies with ult and here we are today with character that can fly on a big gun attacking a lot of enemies with multi elements.... and she works well against some bosses. the downside is that she cant use elements of other players in coop when using her skill for some reason and i dont think it was suppossed to work that way so i hope we will get some primos in next patch
why is no one talking about C6 Diona with her. 200+ em is so good in a Bennet/Diona/Furina. With this team, melts and vaporize were pretty common in my testing.
Because what's worse than one circle impact? Two circle impacts, one of which you can barely control the placement of. It is pure masochism trying to align both benny and diona circles.
Yes, Having Chasca and Ororon is really fun. As a F2P I don't regret pulling for Chasca. At this point it's not about meta. At one point they were focused on introducing Meta characters and now they are prioritizing Adventure exploration and I accept. She brings new playstyle and it's really good.
I like her playstyle a lot but I can get why people wouldn’t - in practice it’s press a button then hold a button. Her high rate of nightsoul application and great shield breaking is something that I think will give her value a good while into the future
It's a shame that the bullet charge slower when moving because it feels worse just floating there stationary to maximise DPS. When I use her skill I instinctively want to fly around circle strafing the enemy.
@@glovs4188 the difference is basically a character who doesn't do that many rotations and just does E , then hold right click for 10 seconds and everything dies, and actually doing more like evading, jumping, using charged attacks, E , Q , to kill stuff. It's the difference between someone like keching and Neuvillette
What makes her so worth it aside from her insane playstyle is the fact that you actually don't need a shielder on her. She can fly above and most ground enemies can't even reach her like Raiden, Kenki and more plus her range is great too making the enemies having a hard time reaching her. I got her and started blasting everyone, her playstyle is indeed fun.
@NSaysSilly As a casual player who has a life and don't have enough time to analyze and memorize every single boss and enemies moves to dodge, I see it as a WIN-WIN lol. She's made for casual players just like Zhongli who's made for players that can't dodge so why suffer when you have them.

The exploration is even better when you factor in xilonen since she has a passive talents that restore 15 points when you switch between natlan characters with kenich as well you can almost achieve an almost perma flight team xd
the “last in, first out” mechanic isn’t random btw. it’s typically how a real revolver works. yea you can load the barrel, spin it and that be random. but last in, first out is pretty typical.
Random here means that the elements of the bullets are random. If the last 3 bullets are Electro > Hydro > Pyro one time and Pyro > Electro > Hydro the next time and you cannot influence this, then this is random. :)

4:11 correction, this dmg% bonus does **NOT** function like yoimiya's skill. Iwintolose has tested this (i've also calculated the numbers based on the footage, results also show its not an external multiplier), and this is indeed the case according to their results it functions like most dmg% in the game (e.g. pyro goblet). This is still really good because as mentioned by the guides provided by the community - she wants to use atk% goblet, in which you have very little dmg% in her stats, but this passive alleviates that issue.
and to be fair, if you have furina c2 or c3, you probably might want to look into changing some elemental goblets on other characters too. only reason i use geo damage rather than def% on my noelle still is because my geo goblet is literally perfect, with all useful stats and 50cv

Idk about you about you guys but the only "team" I used for my Chasca are my unbuilt/not used characters just as long as they are from the P.E.C.H. elements 🤣 and her damage is still great 😅

Wanderer has also this drawback, the new red bird to , flying up is the most energy hungry thing in genshin 😂.. Only kazuha climb/skill can do this forever

8:24 Wait wait wait, Benny can easily heal more than 70% HP at least to any unit that does not have 60k+ HP. My Benny has a Healing % headpiece and maiden beloved goblet + flower. 35.9% healing bonus + 15% healing bonus. With 33,7k hp. burst lv 13 (from Cons). Sums up to around 9k hp pr tick and will most times get any unit that does not have an immense amount of hp close to full. with 200% ER and Aquina Favonia. My Benny is semi immortal and nothing can deny the Fantasic Voyage.
TBH if you want an exploration character, just wait for Mavuika because she's powercreeping literally everyone. Kinda feel bad for Chasca because she's getting powercrept in that regard on her release date.
Nah, Mavuika flies for 3 seconds in a straight line. Chasca flies 10 seconds and can go up or down, not to mention sloperiding, she's much better for exploration than Mavuika

Btw Little Info If You use chasca: You can Just hold the Charge Attack ( In nightsoul state) and she will continue Charging / Attacking, This means you dont need to Release your Mouse Button after you have your 6 Bullets, you can Just keep Holding
Just to mention, she has a weird synergy with Shenhe, Shenhe boosts Charged atk dmg, while also adding her own multiplier to any cryo bullets Chasca shoots, and with favonius helps with her energy
Chasca feels like the embodiment of the future of Genshin. In a year or two, we're going to look at this Elf Cowgirl that flies around on a revolver barrel and think, "Man, i remember when Chasca was the wildest thing this game had to offer"
actually, she is the future of Anemo dpses and supports. her kit is what Wanderer kit should be given his boss can use multiple elements. anyway, good for Hoyoverse for remembering Anemo doesn't only have Swirl, it also has elemental absorption

So something I’m noticing is that all the Natlan characters are balanced around being in Natlan, and either traveler should give them an item that lets them retain nightsoul outside natlan, or a possible third spiral abyss-styled mode/event will be released after the whole story has concluded that makes full use of the nightsoul.
Was something I'm wondering about for the future, considering how specialized their builds kinda are. Any use outside of Natlan is gonna be extremely limited.

They could have literally made her conjured up an anemo bird large enough to ride and have it infuse itself with elements from your party then it could shoot it's feathers infuse with elements but they chose a dumb ass weapon that makes no sense in that world. Agreed. A bird/hawk/dragon/ANYTHING would have been better/cooler than a goofy flying gun. It's also a shame she doesn't get to actually AIM. If she had a sniper rifle and actually got to aim while flying around on a giant bird she could have been awesome but, NOPE. Instead she just stands there, waiting for her giant revolver to auto shoot everything on screen. Yawn. Natlan character design peaked with Kachina.

At c0, well built she splits the wanderer in 4. I understand y'all are waiting for Mavuika or Neuvillette but stop saying nonsense. Also another huge advantage of her, the enemies can barely touch you and she does multi elemental reactions which doesn't make her useless against anemo immune enemies.
2:20 Erm, akshually 🤓☝🏼 It's PHEC, due to the way Elements (usually) hace Swirl priority. Hydro has higher priority than Electro. PHEC is moved by 1 Element to CPHE for the Traveler and Lynette (iirc it was Lynette).
CCs not addressing that Slingshot and Amos not working on her because of hitscan -it's easy to tunnel vision on this two weapon when they were BIS/Good option for pretty much every charged attack dps before.
I have several Amos bows and I was legit going to pull her just to work with them, was very sad to learn she didn't. At least I figured it out before spending pulls.
I'm so in love with the Crimson Witch, full EM Chaska + Nahida + Chevruse + Ororon. Constant dendro application with pyro shells means the enemies are always burning, you don't care about crits since EM takes care of everything, overloads and swirls are popoing off every time she fires, making taking care of groups of enemies, the thing she normally struggles with because of the damage division, as easy as "Nahida E, Chaska E, hold attack to obliterate everything in existence"
i think the issue is that there’s such modern devices but they aren’t in the world at all? like why tf we use hot air balloons if there motorcycles AAK motor vehicles. it’s just a world building issue and if natlan was portrayed more as a “modern” nation it would make more sense
@@deezgod45I think this weird mix of our RL motor inventions and Teyvats supposed ancient themes in Natlan especially has to do with the Phlogiston and Dragons that were even MORE advanced. Hot Air Balloons might be just for the non-vision NPC's, that can't summon or shape either elemental Power/ Phlogiston.
@@deezgod45 Because the ancient technology that Natlan uses is all from the ancient draconic race that you see... you know, during the attack on the Night Kingdom in the first patch. Most of the tech being used here isn't replicable elsewhere, and those who would even have the knowledge to do so have to follow codes of ethics which aren't easily manipulated. Adepti can make things like this fairly easily like Xianyun because they are from ancient history. Deshret glyphs and sentries are made from ancient tech that was deemed immoral and unethical because of their permanent stain on natural life, and were thus made forbidden by the Akademiya. Fontaine literally destroyed half of itself trying to experiment with water displacement and gravitational sciences. The only nation that actually has any semblance of appropriate use of ancient tech is Natlan because they learned to grow alongside vishaps/saurians/dragons because of the necessity to stop the flood of the abyss at the locus of its power in Teyvat.
I went to the trial to redeem some primos without even knowing what she did because I'm keen on saving for the pyro archon, but man did my jaw drop to the floor when she started flying around and blasting elemental shotgun shells
do we see mualani riding a koholasaur and kinich riding the green one? does xilonen ride or take control of the earth one? no, why must we espect Chasca to be the only one riding a dinosaur instead of being able to traverse the world with her own powers?
Layla C4 works really well with her if you need Furina on the other side. It's an additive DMG boost to her charge attack based on Layla's HP. Layla also has pretty much 100% uptime on Tenacity buff
Was thinking about getting her, really like her style and aesthetic apart from being weak to pointy elf ears. But the pyro archon is around the corner which would probably be a better pick up. Even if I think it's a massive joke that she's getting a faqing motorcycle
9:00 210k dmg a shot is not bad, she shoots 4 times so it is like a 850k dmg in a 6 seconds rotation in an average scenario. Real problem is that in AoE her DPS falls hard compared to the top dogs Neuv and Arle who destroy single target and AoE. She is fun tho, I liked her in the trail. I would pull her if it wasnt for her stupid one legged pants, was it so hard to give her complete pants?
If you notice, Natlan characters are mainly single-target focused. Maybe in the near future, there may be a new single-target end-game similiar to the recent event.
true, but neuv and arle are in the very top of the top of damage dealers, not being able to comapre to them is not that big of a deal, for as long as she still has good damage anyway, since those two deal absurd ammounts of damage enough to solo entire abyss floors at 0 and still have enough time to spare...
@xLuis89x Not that true. Do you know that Mualani (not Neuv) and Arlecchino are the top dps for speedruns in the Chinese community ? It is only after Xilonen’s release that the Xilonen + Chiori core joins the party, enabling Neuvillette.
Kinda what happened to me rn. I'm not that mad since chasca pretty much arrived at 60. Still no Ororon so I'm having a headache on her team comp. Maybe I'll try Dori, Bennet, and Furina? I'll just rely on Furina's fan fare points and Dori with her decent elemental app
For those who didn't know, when charging, you can just hold the Normal Attack button and it will continue to charge and shoot everytime she's done charging. No need to let go of the Normal Attack button everytime you fully charge just to fire. Just hold it all the way through
I personally despise her design. I've been playing since 1.0, too and Chasca, flying on a goddamn revolver, is just... horrible to me. I'd love to delete her gun. Let her fly on a saurian, man... And as a Wanderer-main I'm salty about the powercreep. But her playstyle (the element infusion) sure looks interesting.

Gotta love the design dissonance between Natlan and the other nations...hell, within Natlan itself. No one feels like they belong in Natlan, a warrior cultured nation, and no one even feels like they're from Teyvat. What happened to Fontaine being the most technologically advanced nation? We got 8bit Gaemer, Western Revolver Chick, Biker Babe, Rollerblade DJ and Surfer Bro...these designs have been nothing but awful.

I've been using Wanderer as a main due to his flying anyway, so it kinda makes since I've been wanting to switch him out while maintaining such a top tier overworld exploration ability. Welp, now is another reason to grind for fun in case Ganyu comes back but hopefully pretty happy with Chasca either way since she's pretty cool.
Thanks for testing wo Furina. As a new player I'm waiting for her rerun. Chasca fell on my head on pull 9 while i was fishing for an Ororon so I've been trying to figure out making her work without Furina.
If you have Layla C4 she works really well without Furina. I've seen her work well without C4 too but C4 gives Chasca a big additive DMG boost to her charge shot based on Layla's HP. You usually build Layla for HP for the shield anyway. Also Layla is one of the best users of the Tenacity set for the ATK boost to your DPS.
@MaximumCarnage- only C0 here, I started at the end of 4.6 so the vast majority of my four stars are C0. But I've been thinking about her for the off field application + comfy shield regardless. I just wish there were HP scaling swords that aren't Key.
the nice thing about her is her ability to deplete those abyss mimic thing multi-element shields. (mine is currently in her level 30's as i've yet to farm level up materials, but still depletes them well enough for Eula to sweep in and kill the annoying mobs)
I hate those bloated new designs. Natlan is nothing but a theme park. They threw all immersion overboard, the design of the pyro nation and its (playable) inhabitants is full of contradictions, nothing feels natural. It´s nothing but a parade of shiny new toys. Im out, motorbike Archon was the final nail in the coffin.
a little tip: while playing chasca, while flying, you just need to hold your attack button and she will immediately attack after the bullet is full and return to collecting bullet state again. so, it’s like playing ayato :)
This is why i love chasca. Attemtping to optimize her build absolutely sucks. But if you embrace the fact that you are basically gambling with your bullets, you can have lots of fun. My original plan was to run a freeze team with her and citlali and go all in on crit damage and attack, but i think ill just run rainbow with thrilling tales barbara (hydro damage bonus on skill btw), xingling, and layla for a lil shield.
I didn't get Ororon, but Chasca graced me! The team I'm using is mostly for moving around quickly. That said, I'm using: Mualani (water) Raiden (electro) Chevreuse (fire and healer) All free to play as well. May not be the most efficient team. I have 3 level 30 artifacts. Chasca is only level 40 so far and able to easily (not fast) beat level 90+ enemies.
You people arguing about her design not fitting in with the game are so weird to me man. It literally is the game, what greater knowledge are you evoking to say Chasca, or Natlan, or certain technologies etc. don't fit in with Genshin? Did you make the game? Did you read some leaked document detailing the exact available technologies in every region that was written years ago and is being somehow betrayed by these things? "Shes too modern styled waa" MFer they added a rock n' roll guitarist in version 1.1. We have a smartphone and computer keyboard themed character, multiple gun wielding enemies and characters, a singing idol, a photographer, a mixologist, a boba tea enthusiast, a sentient briefcase, a syringe user. Does that sound like a coherent world to you? Many of those things are more modern than cowboys in our world. Get over yourself, skip her and move on.

Fontaine was always called a steampunk esque city and so the tech there too resembles more steampunkish ideas than modern tech. Sumeru was built up as the land of knowledge and the tech there too is more knowledge based and doesn't have stupid tech bs. Natlan had no buildup and is essentially a cluster fuck of badly cooked ideas

I’ve been trying overload chasca with ororon and Benny being some of her best teammates it felt like a no brainer to throw chev in the team I also have c6 chev so she gives both a 60% pryo and electro dmg bonus it’s pretty good so far but I’m still building chasca so idk how well it will do with max talents and max level

@@jonathanrobinson198 Feels more like people interprete the typical criticism of "charged attack boring" to be extra critical in Chasca's case, when it isn't. Ganyu, Neuvillette and Lyney were always criticised for being boring to play. Ganyu and Neuvillette however had the main advantage that they were pretty much the most powerful units when they were released, so people played them despite disliking the playstyle more. Chasca isn't that powerful. Which isn't bad for the game, but which means that players won't be ignoring this flaw. And then there is Tighnari. He was just on a different level, because for one, he was the first ever Dendro 5* character, so of course the reception would be different. But even without that, he takes way less field time than all the other characters mentioned.

Tbh, I still feel really weird about the fact that Kinich can grapple air. I get that it's kinda necessary as it would be really limiting if he needed a climable surface for this to work, but that just adds to the strange weirdness of Natlan characters. Natlan feels like a really weird region and not the interesting weird, but strangely weird as if it doesn't really fit into the rest of the Genshin world. And I guess you can explain that with Lore, but it just feels weird and I didn't have this feeling, not even with all the stuff we got in Fontaine.

It is really fun bringing Chasca into Raiden co-op and flying while attacking instead of having to jump when those three pillars come up. It’s awesome. Her skill lasts just long enough to completely avoid taking damage

@ She’s been working pretty good without a shield for me (I am also bad at dodging). She flies above most attacks and her resistance to interruption is really good. Ororon has been more squishy for me than Chasca tbh.

Here's why I think she's more boring despite mostly playing Neuvillette: you have even less control over anything that's going on than with Neuvillette. On Neuvillette, you can switch off for a second while your sourcewater droplets are on the field to renew your buffs or whatever. When you've entered Chasca's night soul blessing, all you do is keep the mouse button pressed and the enemies in sight of the camera. You never take your finger off the mouse because she fires on her own when she's ready, you're just getting in the way if you shoot. Her damage is pure RNG. How do you feel any fun playing a game where your only input is camera control?

tbh last time i had fun playing a character was back in inazuma when raiden was out , just running around and killing groups of enemies with ult and here we are today with character that can fly on a big gun attacking a lot of enemies with multi elements.... and she works well against some bosses. the downside is that she cant use elements of other players in coop when using her skill for some reason and i dont think it was suppossed to work that way so i hope we will get some primos in next patch
why is no one talking about C6 Diona with her. 200+ em is so good in a Bennet/Diona/Furina. With this team, melts and vaporize were pretty common in my testing.

Yes, Having Chasca and Ororon is really fun. As a F2P I don't regret pulling for Chasca. At this point it's not about meta. At one point they were focused on introducing Meta characters and now they are prioritizing Adventure exploration and I accept.
She brings new playstyle and it's really good.

I like her playstyle a lot but I can get why people wouldn’t - in practice it’s press a button then hold a button. Her high rate of nightsoul application and great shield breaking is something that I think will give her value a good while into the future
Similiar to Neuvillette’s playstyle of standing there while holding a button. They are easy to play but can become boring after some time.

What makes her so worth it aside from her insane playstyle is the fact that you actually don't need a shielder on her. She can fly above and most ground enemies can't even reach her like Raiden, Kenki and more plus her range is great too making the enemies having a hard time reaching her. I got her and started blasting everyone, her playstyle is indeed fun.

The exploration is even better when you factor in xilonen since she has a passive talents that restore 15 points when you switch between natlan characters with kenich as well you can almost achieve an almost perma flight team xd
the “last in, first out” mechanic isn’t random btw. it’s typically how a real revolver works. yea you can load the barrel, spin it and that be random. but last in, first out is pretty typical.
Random here means that the elements of the bullets are random. If the last 3 bullets are Electro > Hydro > Pyro one time and Pyro > Electro > Hydro the next time and you cannot influence this, then this is random. :)

4:11 correction, this dmg% bonus does **NOT** function like yoimiya's skill. Iwintolose has tested this (i've also calculated the numbers based on the footage, results also show its not an external multiplier), and this is indeed the case according to their results it functions like most dmg% in the game (e.g. pyro goblet). This is still really good because as mentioned by the guides provided by the community - she wants to use atk% goblet, in which you have very little dmg% in her stats, but this passive alleviates that issue.
and to be fair, if you have furina c2 or c3, you probably might want to look into changing some elemental goblets on other characters too. only reason i use geo damage rather than def% on my noelle still is because my geo goblet is literally perfect, with all useful stats and 50cv
finally a character you can basically solo as. as long as you have the proper elements on the bench.

8:24 Wait wait wait, Benny can easily heal more than 70% HP at least to any unit that does not have 60k+ HP. My Benny has a Healing % headpiece and maiden beloved goblet + flower. 35.9% healing bonus + 15% healing bonus. With 33,7k hp. burst lv 13 (from Cons). Sums up to around 9k hp pr tick and will most times get any unit that does not have an immense amount of hp close to full. with 200% ER and Aquina Favonia. My Benny is semi immortal and nothing can deny the Fantasic Voyage.
TBH if you want an exploration character, just wait for Mavuika because she's powercreeping literally everyone. Kinda feel bad for Chasca because she's getting powercrept in that regard on her release date.

Nah, Mavuika flies for 3 seconds in a straight line. Chasca flies 10 seconds and can go up or down, not to mention sloperiding, she's much better for exploration than Mavuika

So something I’m noticing is that all the Natlan characters are balanced around being in Natlan, and either traveler should give them an item that lets them retain nightsoul outside natlan, or a possible third spiral abyss-styled mode/event will be released after the whole story has concluded that makes full use of the nightsoul.
That should be the plot for 5.3, open Natlan to the world.

They could have literally made her conjured up an anemo bird large enough to ride and have it infuse itself with elements from your party then it could shoot it's feathers infuse with elements but they chose a dumb ass weapon that makes no sense in that world. Their story and world building team needs to get their shit together.

2:20 Erm, akshually 🤓☝🏼 It's PHEC, due to the way Elements (usually) hace Swirl priority. Hydro has higher priority than Electro. PHEC is moved by 1 Element to CPHE for the Traveler and Lynette (iirc it was Lynette).
PECH is easier to pronounce, they just want to refer to the elements nothing else but you can really call it anything you want lol.

CCs not addressing that Slingshot and Amos not working on her because of hitscan -it's easy to tunnel vision on this two weapon when they were BIS/Good option for pretty much every charged attack dps before.
I have several Amos bows and I was legit going to pull her just to work with them, was very sad to learn she didn't.

I'm so in love with the Crimson Witch, full EM Chaska + Nahida + Chevruse + Ororon. Constant dendro application with pyro shells means the enemies are always burning, you don't care about crits since EM takes care of everything, overloads and swirls are popoing off every time she fires, making taking care of groups of enemies, the thing she normally struggles with because of the damage division, as easy as "Nahida E, Chaska E, hold attack to obliterate everything in existence"

@@deezgod45 Because the ancient technology that Natlan uses is all from the ancient draconic race that you see... you know, during the attack on the Night Kingdom in the first patch. Most of the tech being used here isn't replicable elsewhere, and those who would even have the knowledge to do so have to follow codes of ethics which aren't easily manipulated.
Adepti can make things like this fairly easily like Xianyun because they are from ancient history. Deshret glyphs and sentries are made from ancient tech that was deemed immoral and unethical because of their permanent stain on natural life, and were thus made forbidden by the Akademiya. Fontaine literally destroyed half of itself trying to experiment with water displacement and gravitational sciences.
The only nation that actually has any semblance of appropriate use of ancient tech is Natlan because they learned to grow alongside vishaps/saurians/dragons because of the necessity to stop the flood of the abyss at the locus of its power in Teyvat.
I went to the trial to redeem some primos without even knowing what she did because I'm keen on saving for the pyro archon, but man did my jaw drop to the floor when she started flying around and blasting elemental shotgun shells

Layla C4 works really well with her if you need Furina on the other side. It's an additive DMG boost to her charge attack based on Layla's HP. Layla also has pretty much 100% uptime on Tenacity buff

9:00 210k dmg a shot is not bad, she shoots 4 times so it is like a 850k dmg in a 6 seconds rotation in an average scenario.
Real problem is that in AoE her DPS falls hard compared to the top dogs Neuv and Arle who destroy single target and AoE.
She is fun tho, I liked her in the trail.

If you notice, Natlan characters are mainly single-target focused. Maybe in the near future, there may be a new single-target end-game similiar to the recent event.
true, but neuv and arle are in the very top of the top of damage dealers, not being able to comapre to them is not that big of a deal, for as long as she still has good damage anyway, since those two deal absurd ammounts of damage enough to solo entire abyss floors at 0 and still have enough time to spare...

For those who didn't know, when charging, you can just hold the Normal Attack button and it will continue to charge and shoot everytime she's done charging. No need to let go of the Normal Attack button everytime you fully charge just to fire. Just hold it all the way through
I personally despise her design. I've been playing since 1.0, too and Chasca, flying on a goddamn revolver, is just... horrible to me. I'd love to delete her gun. Let her fly on a saurian, man... And as a Wanderer-main I'm salty about the powercreep.

Ive been wwiting for Ganyu for over a year... Chasca might be what finally breaks me 😮 (I only have enough for 1 character at a time cause I either spend primos every once in a while or don't play much cause I'm kinda bored of the main quests lol).

Thanks for testing wo Furina. As a new player I'm waiting for her rerun. Chasca fell on my head on pull 9 while i was fishing for an Ororon so I've been trying to figure out making her work without Furina.
If you have Layla C4 she works really well without Furina. I've seen her work well without C4 too but C4 gives Chasca a big additive DMG boost to her charge shot based on Layla's HP. You usually build Layla for HP for the shield anyway. Also Layla is one of the best users of the Tenacity set for the ATK boost to your DPS.
@MaximumCarnage- only C0 here, I started at the end of 4.6 so the vast majority of my four stars are C0. But I've been thinking about her for the off field application + comfy shield regardless. I just wish there were HP scaling swords that aren't Key.

the nice thing about her is her ability to deplete those abyss mimic thing multi-element shields.
(mine is currently in her level 30's as i've yet to farm level up materials, but still depletes them well enough for Eula to sweep in and kill the annoying mobs)

I hate those bloated new designs. Natlan is nothing but a theme park. They threw all immersion overboard, the design of the pyro nation and its (playable) inhabitants is full of contradictions, nothing feels natural. It´s nothing but a parade of shiny new toys. Im out, motorbike Archon was the final nail in the coffin.

a little tip: while playing chasca, while flying, you just need to hold your attack button and she will immediately attack after the bullet is full and return to collecting bullet state again. so, it’s like playing ayato :)

This is why i love chasca. Attemtping to optimize her build absolutely sucks. But if you embrace the fact that you are basically gambling with your bullets, you can have lots of fun. My original plan was to run a freeze team with her and citlali and go all in on crit damage and attack, but i think ill just run rainbow with thrilling tales barbara (hydro damage bonus on skill btw), xingling, and layla for a lil shield.
Her trial run was very underwhelming to me ngl, and with Neuvillette and mavuika coming soon it’s a no brainer skip

Chasca is only level 40 so far and able to easily (not fast) beat level 90+ enemies.
You people arguing about her design not fitting in with the game are so weird to me man. It literally is the game, what greater knowledge are you evoking to say Chasca, or Natlan, or certain technologies etc. don't fit in with Genshin? Did you make the game? Did you read some leaked document detailing the exact available technologies in every region that was written years ago and is being somehow betrayed by these things? "Shes too modern styled waa" MFer they added a rock n' roll guitarist in version 1.1. We have a smartphone and computer keyboard themed character, multiple gun wielding enemies and characters, a singing idol, a photographer, a mixologist, a boba tea enthusiast, a sentient briefcase, a syringe user. Does that sound like a coherent world to you? Many of those things are more modern than cowboys in our world. Get over yourself, skip her and move on.

The runeguards are specifically designed to look as mechanical as possible while preserving the aesthetic of the game. Fontaine was always called a steampunk esque city and so the tech there too resembles more steampunkish ideas than modern tech.
Sumeru was built up as the land of knowledge and the tech there too is more knowledge based and doesn't have stupid tech bs.
Natlan had no buildup and is essentially a cluster fuck of badly cooked ideas

I’ve been trying overload chasca with ororon and Benny being some of her best teammates it felt like a no brainer to throw chev in the team I also have c6 chev so she gives both a 60% pryo and electro dmg bonus it’s pretty good so far but I’m still building chasca so idk how well it will do with max talents and max level

Feels more like people interprete the typical criticism of "charged attack boring" to be extra critical in Chasca's case, when it isn't. Ganyu, Neuvillette and Lyney were always criticised for being boring to play. Ganyu and Neuvillette however had the main advantage that they were pretty much the most powerful units when they were released, so people played them despite disliking the playstyle more. Chasca isn't that powerful. Which isn't bad for the game, but which means that players won't be ignoring this flaw.
And then there is Tighnari. He was just on a different level, because for one, he was the first ever Dendro 5* character, so of course the reception would be different. But even without that, he takes way less field time than all the other characters mentioned.
In my opinion, Neuvillette is the most boring of all, standing there while holding a button, but people like this playstyle, or rather, his power.
There’s a special team with Xilonen main dps and Chasca sub dps. Whenever xilonen procs nightsoul burst and applies resistance shred, the random bullets fired from chasca does a lot of sub damage
