FYI, the ending song didn't use animated video like other anime, because the Producers wanted to respect the illustrator of the Light novel (so-bin). The artstyle that bring Overlord into surface. So as a result, they respect the illustrator and made its own appreciation by putting all illustrations in the ending song

Ainz, the big skeleton, is in fact the protagonist, and is not inherently evil so long as you don't do anything to gain his ire. You asking "Does every character have an evil side?" is actually very fitting, the duality of mankind is a nice descriptor for characters in this anime imo.
