Have you moved to Nevada? One of the reasons I liked your reviews was cause you live (lived?) in Canada so you gave insight re winters, etc. Now you mention prices in USD..... I wonder if you moved as, possibly, most of your viewers are in the US? Hmmm....
I travelled down to CES 2024 (Pepcom) in Las Vegas a few months ago- there’s some great coverage of new gadgets on this channel. I do cover USD prices for the wider audience, but still very much in Canada!
I have this bird camera it is fantastic . The negative spiel from this person is just that very negligent! You buy a security camera for security not a bird camera to watch the birds! I thoroughly recommend it, it does what it says on the box. Easy to install and secure to a post, a tree, whatever.
JCS Wildlife has a MUCH better smart feeder that holds 5 pounds of bird seed, and is made from recycled materials meant to hold up for years, instead of this brittle plastic. Go check them out, instead.
I gave a Birdfy feeder to my wife for Christmas. The concept seems so compelling, and the online clips look good. The problem, I have found, is with the very nonintuitive, clumsy, difficult software user interface. I DID eventually get it working, for her cellphone and also mine (as a "friend"), but it took HOURS to sort it all out. The biggest problem is that the online (google) information about how to do various setup things doesn't match the actual interface, which is supremely frustrating. The critical features are hidden so well it takes a lot of perseverance to find them. User-friendly it is not. But if you have experience working with crappy software, and stick with it, you'll eventually get it to work as advertised.
Cool! A solar panel is an excellent idea! Thanks for reviewing Erin.
Thanks for watching!
@@ErinLawrenceTV You’re a very welcome Erin.
where did you get the upgrade tray?
From the brand website.
@ErinLawrenceTV I ordered one thanks. And yeah they love this thing...
Palm trees in Canada?! 😆 great video, thanks Erin!
If it’s facing the street will it keep going off ? Did u use the hummingbird attachment ?
It seems to really only pick up things very close to the camera. I did try to use the hummingbird attachment and did not attract one hummingbird.
@@ErinLawrenceTVI know where I am it’s not humming bird season but that stinks
Thanks for the review Erin.
Thanks, there’s palm trees in Canada ?
I was on a trip. 🙃 But yes there are palm trees in British Columbia.
Palm trees in Calgary? In fact it looks like a different yard. Perhaps an "on location" shoot?
I went to CES 2024 Pepcom a few weeks ago and recorded some content while down south!

@@ErinLawrenceTV Makes sense! Congrats to all your success with your channel!
Nifty gadget and a nice review. But... Palm trees in Canada?
Las Vegas! CES2024 Pepcom had a big lineup of gadgets this year, and there’s a bunch of recent content checking out what’s coming up.
Thank you for the review
No problem 👍
Looking good.
That's a great idea.

It's definitely not intuitive!
