I can't help getting emotional talking about Jim Brown. He's simply the greatest football player period. You know you're great when someone like myself never saw him play because I wasn't born when he played the game. But I know his stats and what mark he left on the game. I never seen anyone past or present who can dominate the game the way Jim did. A testament of how great Jim was that everyone knew that he was going to get the ball but they still couldn't stop him. As a back you're in a dependent position but still he dominated the game. Ali & Jim makes me teary eyed talking about their greatness. They're easily the two greatest athletes in history period. The talents of Judah on display.

The way he pushed Spike on Jim Brown's current situation was absurd. Spike isn't inside the man's head. Plus, his question on whether his rage is "about race" is rather silly too. Another example of how a black man can't have his legacy of accomplishment celebrated unless his image is angelic. No one is. The complete man and his efforts should be accounted for.

Brown stated in the beginning of A Football Life, Jim Brown that racial discrimination was the core reason that "I am the way that I am." Charlie Rose was right.

Charlie Rose - you needed to ask Jim Brown the personal questions so he could've straightened you out properly!

I grew up like many others....in The same neighboring towns that Jim Brown did.
It goes without saying that his Legend.....
    is intact....As A Football Player.
The Perception of him as A Man....like Anyone Else......Opinion Varies.
For ME, He is an Icon and Role Model.
    Just MY Opinion.
