@@CladSot my eyes are open, Helldiver Scum.
Ah, no no not the memories of the creek please make it stop!
Btw you should add the “My Arm!!” “My leg!!!!” “I’m bleeding out!” Or “I’m hit!” That would really add some PTSD
WARNING! YOU’RE IN RANGE OF ENEMY ARTILLERY!
“YEA NO SHIT SHERLOCK”
WE'RE BEING IN RANGE OF ENEMY ARTILLERY WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🗣🗣🗣
i love starting the mission in the range of a stratagem jammer, artillery battery and 2 gunship facilities
3:12 is just peak gaming
« The fabricator… is not close to the jammer…we are surrounded… and they are calling extra reincorcement to the jammer… »
I think I might be in range of enemy artillery. If only there was some way of knowing.
As someone whos team has died right before extraction with no reinforcements left numerous times and me being the sole survivor, this is real PTSD
You call this PTSD. I call this Nostalgia. - John Helldiver, probably
I swear on my life with God as my witness I nodded off at work and as soon as I closed my eyes I heard a voice screaming at the top of they're lungs shouting
"I NeeEEeEed StiiiiMMmsSss!!!"
I woke up soo fast I thought I had a heart attack😮💨
recreation so good i had to stop looping it in the bg while doing other things because it was giving me second hand stress
10/10 would Pavlovian Response to WARNING: YOU ARE IN RANGE OF ENEMY ARTILLERY again
You know you never really think about how much those mortar and gun sounds make you feel then need to move or take cover till you can’t see them.
"Warning: You are in range of enemy artillery!" Is like a smoke detector that needs batteries.
As someone who only played on difficulty 9 and then later 10 last thing you want to hear is drop ship and 3 Factory striders pull up on you alongside various Devastators and Hulks. I've seen 9 ships drop in at same time. Thankfully democracy protects and a with the right equipment and faith you'll make it through it to see the other side.
Claorell has been liberated!
So many flares, so many dropships, and commissars with missle raider patrols, i almost miss it.
Going to be staring out the window of my Super Earth Retirement Home in shell-shocked recollection with this one!
The one thing i remember about the Creak Wars was the unyielding smell of burning oil and Hearing the screams of my fellow comrades, being unable to help as they were gunned down and slashed by Hulks I yearn to be put into cryosleep after returning to The Titan of Wrath just so I don't see any flash backs, Little did I know the War on The Automotons was Just Beginning.
Warning you are in range of enemy artillery Warning you are in range of enemy artillery Warning you are in range of enemy artillery Warning you are in range of enemy artillery Warning you are in range of enemy artillery
Can't wait for new Factory Strider with jammer attached.
Damn this puts me back to when I was first fighting the bots
*When you're hearing this and the video cuts to a real therapy ad*
SES triumph of the stars reporting for duty!
I went to Draupnir once. I don't remember what rank I was. I was a rather new diver, though my rank, I no longer remember. One of my first automaton deployments. The screams. The sounds of bots chirping codes in a monotone, mechanical voice. The near incessant evasion of gunship fire. The death of my comrades. The berserkes, devastators and hulks charging foward while the tanks provided long-range fire for them. The commissars calling in dropship after dropship. And I thought it could not be worse. Until I had found mself staring into the glaring red, electrical, beacon like eye of a factry strider. I never did get much sleep after that. Knowing these moving fabricators deployed standard devastators regularly. Those liberty-forsaken clankers. Scourge of the galaxy. For our forfathers, warbrothers and our successors, they must be purged. For Super Earth.
*Attempting to solo bot mission on Medium difficulty*
*Tank and three Rocket Devastators 'show up' behind me*
"WARNING: YOU ARE IN RANGE OF ENEMY ARTILLERY!!"
"Heavy, close" is engraved into my brain while listening to this
The Malevelon Creek flashbacks... they are hitting again...
Yipppieeee post traumatic stress disorder!!1!!!!1!!1
General Brasch falls asleep to this
Those stratagem jammer sfx...
"Did that tree just speak fucking binary?" PTSD goes hard
Need to add the sounds from Devastators, Gunships, Factor Striders, Jammers and Detector Towers.
I would like to offer some effect ideas to be added. Eagle 1 bombing run, 500kg, and strafing run sounds. Sounds from automated turrets like mortars and autocanons. Exploding atomaton factories. etc
even on level 5 difficulty, there's a lot of these
As someone who played both bugs and bots a lot on super helldive, I have to say, something about the bot front just clicks with me. Yes it’s hard, yes it’s unforgiving, yes it will frustrate at some points with all the ragdolling due to rockets and constant mg lasers. But it just makes gives me a feeling no other game has given me.
My best moment was when we had 0 reinforcements left and horde was coming at us and i looked at my team and said “i may not live but the enemy wont either” and everyone was telling me i had kids and home dont do it 😂 i john wayne that shit and called a airstrike on myself while i was firing in all directions with my mg and my character screaming like a maniac
i was wondering why this was even called ptsd until i heard the "WARNING! YOU ARE IN RANGE OF ENEMY ARTILLERY!" 😭😭
You should make an updated version, with the "dropship" voice lines, the dropships sound effects, the detector tower sound effects, factory strider noises and the rocket devastator sound effects
REALLY missing the automotan voices. Shoudlve started with absolute quitness, just the marching chant they do. Getting louder and louder
Then it kicks off.
But also needs their combat vocals spread out
"HELLDIVERS CUM"
“DROPSHIPS!”
We’re surrounded? Those poor bastards
Hope we brought enough ammo...
when i heard the fabricator sound i instinctively reached for my grenade pistol
@sbcavo4332 you have so much PTSD that you're having auditory hallucinations. I don't have fabricator sounds in this video XD
The bots when I place a mortar sentry: "You are in range of enemy artillery."
helldivers: "where is the goddamm artillery???"
I still remember that creek....
oh, by the way, I want you and everyone around you to currently be aware of the fact that an enemy Heavy Artillery delivery mechanism is nearby to your location, and that this could spell danger to those within the blast radius of the explosive shell launched from this airborne ordnance device.
the creek was crazy
