You are so talented. I love seeing what you create. What an amazing machine. I love Singer. I just gave away my cabinet Singer from 1974. It still worked great. But I needed the room and now use my portable Singer machine.
Great tutorial ! Just a tip, when you’re changing thread, cut at the thread spool and pull the thread out from the needle. If you pull from the spool up you can damage the tension mechanism. Tfs, Jen
Your towel is so cute! The pumpkin turned out great even with all the problems!! I have two singer machines, the futura and the quilting, on both you have to raise the foot then pull the thread thru the needle when threading or if it breaks. When I thread the machine I pull extra thread out through the needle to clean out the thread guides and I don't get breakage as often. But most important when the thread breaks raise foot and pull through the needle or for some reason it will continue to break. I think it can get thread debris in the guides which cause the tension to be whacky. At least that has worked for me.
Thanks a bunch! I was so excited for this one, it all worked out. I have another video ready to go where everything went amazingly, except when I tried the sewing font sequencing. I got it to work but it gave me a little trouble! LOL!
Raise the presser foot when threading or the discs will be too tight on the thread. It should slide through easily. The embroidery needle is 90/14 2000 or 2001. The design looks so cute!!
I have this same machine , your thread keeps snapping because your spool stopper is on to tight release it a bit so there is a small gap so the spool has more give . Also the spool top your using is for thread that's straight spun on the spool the flat cap is for spool criss Cross spun like the thread your using . Also change your needle often helps . Try needle 75/11 as well as 90/14 .Also try slowing down the speed Helps
Can you please send me the first in your series for the Singer SE300? I used to work for a company that stitched logos on new car mats, but this machine is much newer than that. A link would for your first design of your series would help me out enormously. This tiny little instruction book that came with my SE300 doesn't really give enough info. Many thanks! Kathy
Yes, I also copied the Singer usb files to my computer and onto a storage usb...I will try putting them onto a 2.0 8GB usb with the same folders and add other .xxx design files to it. If it works then I will save the original Singer usb and not have to worry about its files becoming corrupted. I just ordered Embrilliance Essentials and Sketch Artist 1 so will wait for that cd to arrive.☺
@@VianneyCreates ☺I will!! I'm looking forward to working with these programs (I first started out learning vector-based art programs, then raster/bitmap 2D and some 3D programs). I think the Embrilliance programs will be simple to use and they are of the same vintage as this Singer (about 8 yrs old) so that makes things even easier. It will be fun!!☺
I am sorry, I don't think that would be appropriate...but, I do think you need to purchase a USB adapter for your computer. My Mac doesn't have really any ports, I bought an adapter that can accommodate USBs and SD cards. It plugs into the USBC ports. The designs on your Singer USB are there, they don't need to be downloaded. I hope that makes sense.
So many things learned in this video alone. Thanks for sharing. The pumpkins are adorable.
Thanks so much, Kristin! This machine has a steep learning curve but the machine itself is pretty great.

Sounds good! I don't think I have ever ever removed a thread that way, but good to know. TY!

Your design looks awesome 👍🏼

Thanks for following up on the issues you had found with machine 😊
You bet! I love hearing feedback and receiving questions. TYSM!

TY! All of those things are figured out…maybe run this video. I don’t recall.
Yes the extra spindle fits in that hole at the top left -- for twin needle threads
TY, I read about that today.
Great tutorial. How fun. TFS. Hugs. Your towel is darling. ❤❤😊😊

Wow, have fun! I can see why Embrilliance would be great! Enjoy and please let me know how it goes.

It was the storm that came through. It was bad in different places.
