Do the safari near sunset. That’s when the animals, including the big cats, are most active.
My top tip would be to go to Expedition Everest first thing while everyone else is going to Avatar. Last trip, we were able to ride Everst 8 times in a row as a walk-on before the line started to get longer.
My friends and I, who were 16 and 18 at the time, were obsessed with the Wilderness Explorer hunt. We completed the entire thing and we're so proud of ourselves.
I swear no matter how many times i hear the explanation of how genie + and lighting lane works , i still dont understand it.
I’ve picked it up by listening to it 14 times in each video.
I had to call somebody I know who goes to Disney a lot and get them to spell it out for me
I wish someone would creat an game app that mimics Genie+ that I can practice on beforehand.
I thought the same thing but when I actually purchased it when I went it was actually quite easy to figure out!
@@becksalas2618 thanks. We’re headed there in a few weeks.
My daughter and I park-hopped to AK when it rained and everyone else wanted to go back to the resort. The safari ride was AWESOME. We actually had to stop several times to wait for the animals to cross. The big cats went for cover but most of the other animals were out wandering and eating. It was definitely our best safari ride so far.
rainy days at wdw and especially at AK! it’s the only time the elephants get in the water and just play, i go some days just for that. ❤❤❤
L p kk(?
I’m an avid Disney World goer but I still enjoy watching your videos with my daughter to get psyched for our trips!
A "where to enjoy" breakfast at each park would be helpful
There’s a duck named Sulley with a wonky tail feather that sticks straight up, he and his gf are at the front by the foot bridge and i’ve been checking in on him regularly for years. I literally cried the first time I saw him after the shut down. ❤❤❤
We'll be there in May and will look for him!
Animal kingdom theming is the best or most immersive at this time of all the parks. It still feels like more than just another park. Also, the shows are really awesome and well acted. My active kid loves animal kingdom.
I’m still amazingly confused, that they took out the animation academy from Hollywood Studios, and moved it to animal Kingdom
Happy to hear that free self parking for resort guests is back! Our trip just got about $100 cheaper and anything helps.
Same. We were looking at around $130, and it was such a relief.
These videos of what to look for in 2023 have been so helpful with planning my trip later this year! Thank you DFB team!
Surprised to hear the safari is only 18 min.. it always feels much longer to me
We love the variety of food at Harambe Market - a great place to rest and snack under cover.
They should expand animal kingdom into finishing it with the original idea of a fantasy section. They can base it off of onward or something
Winning against a kid?! Sign me up. That’ll make me sleep easier. 🤷♂️🙂
You don’t get to pick which row you sit in at festival of the lion king. You get sent to the one that’s available and fills from bottom up.
My family and I visited Animal Kingdom in (Along with Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios) DisneyWorld in February Break of 2023, and I loved it. My favorite rides from the Animal Kingdom were Expedition Everest, DINOSAUR, and Avatar: Flight of Passage. But I am disappointed that we didn't see any real animals in Animal Kingdom since it was too hot. But we will next time. I also hear that later in 2023, DisneyWorld is opening some new rides in Animal Kingdom based on Zooptoia (2016) and Moana (2016). While I love Moana (2016) and all it's songs I love Zooptoia (2016) even more because of the characters, setting and themes plus the song, "Try Everything." I can't wait to go on these new rides based on Zooptoia (2016) and Moana (2016) the next time my family and I visit DisneyWorld and the Animal Kingdom. I also need to visit the new recreation of the city Zooptoia from the 2016 animated film with the same name and 2022 Zooptoia Plus series in Shanghai DisneyLand when my family and I get our passports to visit other countries. I also can't wait for the upcoming sequel to Zooptoia (2016), Zooptoia 2 and the live-action remake of Moana and the series based on it coming out in 2024. I hope in Zooptoia 2, Nick Wilde will be featured as the main protagonist and Judy will become the deuteragonist through a main character role swap similar to the one in Frozen II (2019) and focus on Nick and Judy plus the other main characters in Zooptoia visiting Zoo York City (A Zooptoia version of New York City) or Rio Deer Janerio (A Zooptoia version of Rio De Janerio and Gazelle's home city.) to fight and stop all the crime that's there and it will finally reveal whether Nick and Judy are indeed in love and romantically into each other or not. It's the moment of truth. (Or "love truth".)
Thank you for saving me from a disappointment. I was most looking forward to Pandora at night, but we are going the last week of June.
I can't wait to go in stemptember it will be my first time going to disneyworld
I love ak, and im once again running to dfb guide for my upcoming Nov, 2023 trip! Im so excited to go once more with my bestie. Wish me luck!!
I would do Genie+ here only if the park is sold out. That actually was worth it, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to do as much.
do not let this video deter you, im 22 and still remember being taken to rainforest cafe when I was 3 and 5 and still love dining there because of the nostalgia and ambiance more importantly. youre kids will love it
So cool can’t wait to visit
Pandora is my absolute favorite
OMG anything Zootopia would be amazing!!
Love your videos! Please do one of Hollywood Studios, I am going to Disney in February and would love a DFB guide to Hollywood.
My family is heading to start our Disney trip next weekend. Hoping the last 2 guides come out by then 🤞🤞
We wasted sooo much time on that darn train in 2021. There were not a lot of pickups and I would never risk losing that much time again unless things have changed.
I love what you do
I can't imagine Disney demolished part of Dinoland with no plans for a replacement. If there really is no immediate plan, then Disney simply eliminated a ride in an area were there was not much to do in the 1st place. This is sooo different than how Universal does it. If something close on Monday, there are construction walls up on Tuesday.

Lol wow I never heard of AJ being so salty before especially about rainforest cafe. I love that place
My favorite park! ♥
disney world is so fun!!!
I'm sooo early!!! Love you guys!!!
It’s been too long since i listened to AJ and I’m ashamed…😔 time to binge them!
Thank you for your really useful & amazing content! Question: why does AK close so early?
AJ maybe you can answer a question- back in 2018 I actually had a drink in animal kingdom called a Himalayan Ghost. It was at a little bar stand very close to Expedition Everest. Know if they're still serving this?
Wow great video! Tons of info! Sent you email for the pdf! Thank you ❤
Im going this year sadly i wont make it for the 50th anniversary but im looking forward to go ^^
The best disney park, and I will fight to the death for that!
Hollywood Studios is really close behind.
Loved this video. Thanks so much. I just got to see Pandora at night last year. I have tickets to AK on 5/1 and am taking the husband for our anniversary. I really want him to experience Pandora at night. However the park closes at 7 and sunset is at 8. 😞 People said we could wait until end of day and get in line for Pandora and can see it that way. Any other tips? Also I assume no Tree of Life show?
thanks agian
We have a banshee still in the box from our 2019 trip. Our daughter nagged for it! Due to go back soon, hopefully without bringing home another one...
Where is the Hollywood studios ultimate guide for 2023?
Nice to be the 4th comment on this video. Appreciate what you guys do!
That Avatar show on the tree had me... upset. I had never seen the display on the tree and was looking forward to all day, even got right up front for the show. Everything went dark, the tree lit up, a voice sang out, "The way of water," and the commercial began. It was as frustrating as when I went to watch the film about Walt Disney in Hollywood Studios and instead got an ad for 'The Eternals.'
Let's hope Disney doesn't blow the 25th anniversary at Animal Kingdom as badly as they botched the Epcot 40th.
"How can you get a lower weight on Flight of Passage..." ???😕 Oh, NOW I get it --- less of a wait!
I wonder if you can book a lightning Lane in one park and another one in another
Sorry, Rainforest cafe food is delicious and they give a lot of food. I’m getting tired of people trashing that restaurant.
I thought that expedition Everest was an individual pay ride. Is it not? I know it wasn’t an individual one last march, but then I thought they said it would become an individual lightning lane.
When Genie+ first launched Everest was an individual lightning lane, then they “temporarily” added it to Genie+ early last year. They made the change permanent over the summer. They made the same change in every park, so now each park has only one ILL attraction instead of two.
The waterfall feature across from entrance area inside the park, wash’s baby ducks down the drain, the large grate doesn’t prevent it and Disney knows! Check it out and please complain!
🤩🤩🤩
Have I missed the ultimate guide for Hollywood studios?
That’s probably next
❤
Fantastika tenqs ❤❤ veri veri gud video ❤️❤️
Do they still have Bugs Life?
how do you enter that restaurant without an animal kingdom ticket?
The main entrance to Rainforest Cafe is located outside AK, so you don’t have to scan a park ticket to get in.
How does parking work at that entrance?
Never played the carnival games. Didn't think about how guilty I could and would feel beating a child. *facepalm* Lol.
you didnt do a viedo for Hollywood studios
It’s coming next week!
@@DFBGuide ok thanks 😊
Tell me all the secrets lol
Disney celebrating earth day is hilarious
how much of their stuff is made with plastic?
Disney is playing a dangerous game with their pricing and people are responding accordingly. The mouse house could collapse...... No no no..
Ñññññññññ
Dino land needs to become India
this just doesnt seem disney enough.. the characters going across on the boat seem really out of place
The lines are long and take all day your paying to wait in a line in sweltering heat this woman doesn't know most people go with famlies and kids so these single ride and food lines are very false single people don't go to disney world
honestly? moana is tired already
This park is a ripoff theres nothing to do here. If you’ve done it all once, theres no need to do it again.
