Yellow loong is the most challenging but yet fair to fight. No time distortion, hidden attack or ridiculous parry shield like erlang. I died so many times against him but always feel excited fighting this boss
Is that not a spoiler? Also i think Erlangs parry shield is a lil overexaggerated, i understand that people hate it but it adds a layer to the fight. Something that makes it different. It also has a lot of cool unique features like him copying whatever Element you use against him while his shield is up, him having his dogs while his shield is up and a few other features.
Dude the three slots in the gourd are empty , you can use three soaks it will enhance your ability massively , and also go to the monkey from chapter one and see if you can upgrade your gourd
@NotPolarEX also in the last chapter you can get a two headed flame wolf transformation if you use it at a certain shrine called the jade something in this one you can use it then go to the right abit you see a bunch of Webb eggs if you detransform with that form fully upgraded witch cost like 5-6 sparks then you go to the shrine restaurant repeat it gives amazing money and exp I got 5 lvls and 100k in roughly 3 mins

Don’t give up! This one was a struggle among many others but still managed to beat the game. You probably need to level up and get more sparks if you find yourself getting beat more often than not
I noticed one thing that may help you in the game, you're not using any soaks for your gourds. You have 3 empty slots from what I'm seeing. They help a lot.
You probably are lol but the transformation is op as hell To use it you have to combo your light attack with heavy attack During the the light attacks you want to time the heavy with an enemies attack (like doing a resolute counter) and you’ll gain a focus point Do it three times and you’ll three shot most bosses with your special attack
It is insane how knowledge is power in this game, if you have the right gear, I’m not even talking about farming lvls, just the right armour and weapon for the fight and finding Ruyi scroll, ur set, I just played the whole game from scratch again, if you do every secret as soon as they come up you are set, game becomes a breeze, I just beat erlang before I got the nimbus cloud in chapter 6 with spellbinder in 4 tries lvl90
If you stay away from him it breaks his attack cycle. He will only dash at you. I sat back and charged my heavy attack. Engaged then moved back. I bet him in 2 tries. Also use spell binder.
Yellow loong took me a good amount of attempts to learn and beat as well. You really have to engrave the dodge timings in this fight and stick to them. Dont be greedy, dont be too aggressive in attempting to cut him down faster. Patience and timing are key more than anything. The boss was meant to be hard too. Its the final boss of this weapon side quest rewarding you with the mats for a dope weapon.
its a hidden boss, if u struggle with a hidden loong, just play next chapter then come back for it. it will be much easier with extra level and skill points
Max out staff spin and focus. Freeze enemy. Stack up focus points while they’re frozen. 4 focus heavy attack. Also, most enemies are less aggressive if you wait for them to attack first. If you bum rush them, they go into harder move sets.
Polar I'm gonna give you a Tip for Chapter 5 use the Flame Mantle vessel it's extremely useful and for this Chapter's Final Boss You should Get The Weavers Needle Vessel because if you dont I guarantee you will Break your Controller And I speak Out of experience I didn't break mine but I was close to and Im on Cycle 5 of wukong so if you need tips I gotchu
If you guys are struggling with this boss I can help Dodge the first attack Use charge thrust stance when he walks to u and just attack when he starts to charge his attack Repeat this until he does his flying move His flying move can be interrupted by a 3 charge thrust attack When he starts to avoid your charge attacks dodge the rest of the attacks Learn how to time your dodges
yo this guy was crazy, the feeling after you defeat him is unbelievable- my heart was beating like crazy. Took me almost 2.5 hours. no other boss till chapter 4 took me more than 30 min (yellow sage screw you )but this guy was just crazy, spamming attacks when he is almost done. to me yellow long was by far the toughest, 2nd goes to yellow rat sage 3rd goes to probably wandering wight (because you arent that good at that early). guess most players struggle against different ones, scorpion lord only took me 3 tries but duskveil took me 5 tries
That "electric" debuff greatly increases the damage you get. I was "pill master" in this fightFking ate two dozens of pills. Remove debuff... reduce damage...
Nah Yellow Loong beat me so many times I went to the Pool of Hollowed Jade and grinded until I maxed out Pluck of Many. My clones casting spells made a difference
Tbh all I did against yellow loong is use the third stance and keep spamming my heavy attack from far range, it still took me like 15 times to beat him tho
This boss was painful. Took me time to memorize his skill set but then it becomes a breeze. The 3 focus points method, although time consuming, but safe and effective. No spell binder, just one use of potion. Took a day break from the game after this mf 😂
I killed him on the third attempt, I used spellbinder and poked his ass to death with the spear and thrust stance. I realized that when he started walking I could charge my focus points and poke him so when he starts to walk, I poke him and he staggers and then he starts walking again and gets poked again and staggers and it was like that until he died.
@@NotPolarEX you had no dots filled next to your gourd. Kinda limited your play with no soaks to help possibly give you more health back per sip or even mana to use for spells. Just noticing though
Yo no lie I had to restart my PS5 on this fight as well.... maybe because i died 15 times lol, but i started lagging in the menus looking at my spirits first and then game froze when I did pluck of many on him....... finally beat this fool tho... its weird how that happens lol once i got his moves down i beat him still had a full gourd lol
you always roll to the left , you use clones at the start and at the end R2+L with the damage reduction ! and the transformation with the one that breathes fire XD AND CLOUD STEP WHEN HE DOES THE FLYIN BS ! i did it in 28 tries

Final boss made struggle for some reason. The boss for the true ending took me 6 TRIES. Make it make sense 😂
hardest ones for me were the rat boss in chapter 2 and yellow loong in chapter 4
