Keep up all the great work! I hope that you are enjoying the process. There can be really deep satisfaction in the small steps that lead to a bigger goal.
Having wrenched on an 80’s era Italian car, what’s become obvious to me is that what sets mediocre mechanics (me) apart from great ones is not so much knowledge or skill - it’s patience, which is something I’m still working on 😂
Best to do it right than to do it in a hurry and miss something, or do it wrong. As with all of us, life must go on, and hobbies and cars have to move to the back of the line of the things our lives consist of!
Great to see you are going to take your time at it instead of trying to rush it. Like you said you have allot going on. Just keep at it as much as you can till it gets colder out! No one likes working in the cold unless you have a heated garage. This is what I will be doing over the winter on mine to have it ready for next summer's car show and car meet season!
@@saigesgarage that would be a great idea! Maybe find a torpedo heater and seal up most cracks but you will need ventilation but the heat up areas fast so you don't need to have it on to long.
Saige, do not rush it. You are doing a fantastic job and we need more content like this. I have just finished a 1958 Berkeley 492 which I thought would take one year and it took two. The Berkeley will be at our booth at BCD. Please come visit us at the Laser Ablator booth.
Take your time!!

Thank you for the support! You’re so right, every step ahead is a win :)
Don’t worry about your Spit! Good things take time! Have a good time at the British Car show! Bring us some superb footage!
I appreciate the support! British Car Day was amazing, you’ll be getting a video soon :)
Don’t despair just keep on it at your leisure
Use a cone brush on a drill with degreaser

Than you for the support! I’m hoping to find a way to makeshift a heated garage to keep working through the cold
