  • "YOU GOT YOUR WISH OF GETTING YOUR NATURAL LABOR!" In this Built To Birth Podcast Snippet, Kastle shares a part of her birth story and how she experienced an unexpectedly fast labor for her first birth. Often with fast births, the contractions during labor are very intense, but even in the intensity of labor and delivery, Kastle shares how to decrease pain in labor and how she ultimately achieved her natural birth by empowering herself with affirmations and proper breathing for labor. If you are wondering how to prepare for labor, learning about managing labor pain is such an important topic to learn about. Finding pain relief in labor directly correlates with how women recall and remember their birthing experience. So, if you trying to figure out how to have a positive birth, learning what Kastle did through her labor and delivery and delivery story to help cope with the sensations and more about the stages and phases of labor is going to be incredibly helpful for your journey.

That's so manipulative that they asked you if you wanted an epidural during a contraction! Lol But I'm glad that you made it through and that labor went quickly for you.

My best advice from a well seasoned Mom who has done research and has had an unplanned natural birth to my last planned unmedicated birth 11 months ago.Let your body do what it's meant to do.Breathe to your baby.Keep your breathing steady and deep. This young lady teaches excellent breathing techniques that I actually used. Dont tense the body.Let go.I let go so much that I peed. The only thing that i had a problem with is the fear when it was time to push him out.My nurse taught me the blowing out candles breathing as they were setting up and baby was putting pressure coming into the canal, that it made my legs ache so so bad.Other than that it was a wonderful experience and quicker recovery.

Wish they would've declined my request for epidural because I requested before they'd bothered to check me. And I was already 9.5cm (still in triage) and idk why they let me have one! My epidural experience was fine, and I had no adverse effects, but I just feel like I was so far that I could've made it without. I just needed support from my care team, which I wasn't receiving in triage. Wish me luck as I give birth to babe #2 probably tomorrow! Lol

Just had baby boy at 39wks 3 days. Labor stalled Sunday night contractions stayed at 8-10 minutes for 2 days! Thankfully my birthing ball, spinning babies, and doula worked her magic to get things kick started again. Three hours after she left my house contractions were increasing. After 10 hours of active labor, we got to 9cm then water wouldn't break 😥 was about to throw in the towel but finally it broke then 2 hours later of pushing in 4 different positions my boy arrived! His thank you to me was shitting all over me when they laid him on my chest. So glad I stuck it out! You can do it ladies! It feels like forever in the moment. Getting past transition and water breaking was the worst for me but it's so worth it! Thank you so much for all your videos! My doula was worth every penny! A godsend. Alaska JMS births.

Go mumma! Sounds like you did so good.
Our labour was super fast too and I had a moment that I was thinking about your videos and audios. But we didn't get to a delivery room though 🤣

So what could help have such a fast labor and progress dilating so quickly (besides resisting the pain)?
