Amsa is SO crazy good!!! This character is so jank! This reminds me of how skilled Axe is with Pikachu, but like magnified a ton!! Axe and Amsa seriously AMAZE me. Those characters are NOT easy, and the way they play Melee is incredibly healthy for the game. People like them are like the super vitamin protein smoothies of Melee 👌👌👌🔥🔥🔥

CapriSun funny thing is, since amsa is the only yoshi who plays at his level, what we know of his viability at that level is entirely from his play.... so it’s hard to say if mid tiers like that are held back at the top level mechanically or if they just need the right player. If it weren’t for Armada, we might never have seen a peach win a major, for example

I was watching Sixx play Link and I was thinking the same thing. I wonder how many characters could "make it" if they just had the right person play them.
