One Point to address here that should lock down the argument of infinite universe for Aaron. There is an actual observebale edge to the Universe called the Cosmic horizon. NASA has actually calculated the diameter of our universe as we can see it, where the literal endge of space and time ends. This is how we know it is expanding, and why they estimate that it will retract at some point, which is how the Quran discribe it.

The design argument is flawed without answering the question who designed the designer. Making a statement that an uncreated designer is necessary is just special pleading.
If there was a designer, he would have created an earth that supported life from day one. The earth was hostile for life for the first few billions of years, changes in geological and atmospheric conditions resulted in favorable conditions for life. As per religion humans were created to worship the creator, in that case God should have created humans from the very beginning not wait for a few billion years. Did God realize quite late that he needed to create humans who will worship him in a special way.

God created heavens and the earth. It seems God does not know anything about what we today understand as universe. God did not know what stars are, or about galaxies, or what the various celestial objects are.
We know the dinosaurs existed before humans, and they were mostly wiped out due to some cataclysmic event. If they were not wiped out, may be there would be no humans, or humans would have competed with dinosaurs. But we don't find human remains with dinosaurs. But God did not tell us any such thing.
