Hello, I have DSX-PLA804 CAT 8 permanent link adapters, am I able to test CAT 6 cable with those adapters or just CAT 8 cable?

Those adapters are backwards compatible down to Cat 3 cable. You will be able to use them to test Cat 6 without an issue.

Hi Sir, my adapter is cat8 permalink(DSX-PLA804) and im trying to test a cat6 cable patch panel.. how will be the setup of test limit?

For a Cat 6 patch panel with Cat 6 cable, you would want to select TIA Cat 6 Perm Link. If the customer will be using PoE, it would be good to select the (+PoE) test limit.
