It's a great review, thanks guys. I like it so much!! 💖🌋💣🔥but the only thing is that the song isn't really folk. The music was written by Alexander Morozov to the poem of Nikolay Rubtsov in the beginning of the 60-s.
"Gornitsa" is a front room in a wooden traditional log house in the country area in Russia. It usually had 3 or 4 windows and as it was the lightest room in the house was often used as a women half where they made their needlework or other crafts fexample embroidery, lace, cross-stitch and bead-work...

@@alexshmeter1549 Читай повнимательней - АТОМНЫХ городов ( города с АЭС , либо связанных с атом. промом ) . Под исполнителями в каждом ролике написанно откуда они ( одни и те же города ) , а песен может и больше !

"Горница", "Конь", "Ой, то не вечер", "У церкви стояла карета"... Этим народным песням не больше пятидесяти лет. Авторы их по сей день живут среди нас и здравствуют, за исключением ушедшего Николая Рубцова. И именно эти авторы вместе с прекрасными исполнителями сделали эти песни поистине народными.

"РОССИЯ, РУСЬ! Храни себя, храни!.." Николай Михайлович Рубцов (1936-1971) - великий русский поэт, автор слов этой песни, если вдруг кто не знал.
Да. Великие стихи. Только стихи-то у него совсем не мажорные. Смятение в них, отчаяние и лишь робкая надежда на лучшее. Мы сами зачастую не понимаем глубину наших стихов.
Пелагея эту песню круче всех сделала, в ее исполнении вся красота мелодии открывается
Пелагея очень сильно исказила смысл слов Николая Рубцова и переверула всю рубцовскую поэзию с ног на голову, похоже, намеренно, выбросив целый ключевой куплет. Получилась приторная патока. Как-то несуразно задорно получилось, с широченной улыбкой совсем не к месту. Не надо было ей так тревожить Николая Михайловича. В этом смысле, имхо, далеко не самое удачное исполнение песни. Есть значительно сильнее. Отмечу как ее поклонник, многие другие песни у Пелагеи по-настоящему получились.

А теперь давайте переведем на английский язык например слово "догниет". Как глагол, описывающий процесс, начавшийся давно, длящийся сейчас и который завершится в будущем. Желательно точный и недлинный.
Всегда можно подобрать синоним, например "обветшает". И придется по-другому составить предложение. Да, не в рифму, но на английском и так будет не в рифму
@@user-rk2xc6gs9m дело не в подборе синонимов. Дело в форме Русского глагола. Обветшает это тоже действие, вернее процесс, который начался в прошлом, длится в настоящем и завершится в будущем.

@@user-jo4hq8ks8n Там не "будет гнить", а "сгниёт полностью" т.е. до конца (совсем). Можно использовать "will rot till the end" или "will rot away completely". Форма "будет гнить", описывающаяя процесс, выглядит как "will be rotting".
В любом случае, в английском языке недостаток глаголов восполняется использованием их с различными предлогами и наречиями. Это хорошо видно на примере глагола "get", который в сочетании с различными предлогами, существительными и прилагательными, может обозначать огромное количество разных действий таких как понимать, получать, просыпаться, опускаться, садиться (в транспорт), болеть и поправляться, влюбляться, тупить итд.
Очень нравится эта песня в этом исполнении. Но в этом видео необходим перевод слов англоязычных товарищей.
Только сперва нам самим нужно осознать глубину стихов Рубцова. Стихи-то его совсем не веселые... А потом уж переводить. Просто так тут не переведешь. Иностранцы после дословного перевода вообще ничего не поймут. Нужен Бродский - только тогда им многое понятно станет.

Project # 10 songs of atomic cities is being implemented within the framework of the "Rosatom Culture Territory" program (by Rosatom State Corporation) and brings together hundreds of talented people of different ages and professions who live and work in 21 "atomic cities" - towns, in different corners of the country - from Central Russia to Eastern Siberia, where nuclear power plants and other enterprises of the nuclear industry are located.
Most(!) of the people are amateurs.
There were two “seasons” (10 songs/mvs per season) of this project so far.

The project was conceived as a gift to cities for the 10th anniversary of Rosatom and brought together more than 400 talented people of various ages and professions who live and work in the cities where Rosatom operates. 10 songs of ATOMIC cities became part of Timur Vedernikov's global project #MUZYKAVMESTE - an analogue of the famous Playing for Change, invented in the United STATES to unite musicians around the world. The idea of this project is simple: a small team travels around the country with a mobile set of recording and filming equipment, finds talented and interesting musicians and records them in different beautiful places. All recordings are made live. This way, an unusual arrangement is created, woven with the sounds of different artists in different parts of the country, and sometimes the world. Each of the participants in this virtual joint music making brings something different to the composition.
